Tony Romo is probably the MVP of every other team in the NFC East right now.

Ruien 11-09-2015 07:00 AM

Hell ya. Go Eagles!

Even though mathematically it would have helped the Giants more for Dallas to win, I really don't want Romo to come back with a chance for Dallas to steal the division. Then again the division is so poor that they may still have an outside shot despite all of the losing.

Evil Vito 11-09-2015 09:33 AM

Of course the way things are going now, Week 17 will come down to Eagles/Giants for the division, and since it's currently shaping up to be the tightest playoff race despite the division being dogshit, I could easily see it getting bumped up into primetime.

Giants haven't beaten the Eagles in primetime since 2008. And since that game took place, the Giants have lost 12 of 15 meetings to Philly.

So yeah...most likely the entire season's gonna boil down to their 4th quarter idiocy in Dallas week 1 with their Week 2 meltdown vs. ATL not far behind.

#1-norm-fan 11-09-2015 06:38 PM

I honestly doubt that Dallas can win the division at this point even with Romo coming back in 2 weeks. Winning every game he plays is a tall order but even then, Philly and the Giants would have to go .500 down the stretch. And yes, I'm already projecting a loss in Tampa next week. I get the feeling this team without Romo is just built to lose regardless of the opponent.

#1-norm-fan 11-09-2015 07:51 PM

Wes Welker to the Rams. Seems like a pretty perfect fit. Should have happened a long time ago.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-09-2015 08:19 PM

Yep, cause beating your wife is worse than allegedly deflating a ball or filming people on the sideline when it was legal to do so before.

Arbitrary rules are more important than the rule of law? There's no such thing as the integrity of the game with Roger Gooddell in control of shit.

screech 11-09-2015 10:42 PM

It was illegal to film opponents when the Patriots got caught doing it. That's why they're cheaters and why they were punished for it. That it was legal previously is irrelevant.

screech 11-09-2015 10:46 PM

And if you're still upset or confused over how the NFL decides punishments, you haven't been paying attention. Josh Gordon lost half a year (well a year and a half after this year, I guess) for smoking weed. Greg Hardy nearly killed a woman and missed 4 games.

It's a bunch of nonsense and likely will be until there's some fresh blood up top.

screech 11-09-2015 10:51 PM

Expected the Chargers to run away with this for some reason. Then again, no Allen and their defense has been porous lately.

Evil Vito 11-09-2015 11:56 PM

well my Chargers AFC Champion prediction sure was a great one

I absolutely love that Martha Ford's middle name is Firestone. Every headline about the recent shakeup of the team refers to her as Martha Firestone Ford. Makes her sound approximately 200x more bad-ass

Simple Fan 11-10-2015 03:20 PM

Andrew Luck out 2-6 week with a lacerated kidney.

screech 11-10-2015 03:33 PM

Second guy with a lacerated kidney this season. Damn.

Emperor Smeat 11-10-2015 05:40 PM

Colts currently dealing with some backlash regarding their injury reports with Andrew Luck this season. Supposedly they either downplayed how serious he's been hurt to the media or been purposely hiding info that would be against the rules.

NFL currently investigating those reports to find out if the team was hiding how serious Luck was hurt and if it played a role in his recent injury.

Fan Duel and Draft Kings just got banned in New York as illegal gambling according to the New York Attorney General. Will need to apply for legal gambling licenses in order to be allowed to continue accepting bets in the state.

oh shit

we really are brothers

Emperor Smeat 11-15-2015 06:34 PM

What a play by Amendola. Way he was stumbling at the end, probably was going to trip regardless if it was by a Pats player or himself.

ClockShot 11-15-2015 06:36 PM

God damn, if Peyton keeps this up, we'll probably be seeing BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROCK OS-WEILER sooner than later.

Emperor Smeat 11-15-2015 06:44 PM

Wow Peyton. 1 more INT and it ties what he has for completions.

Wonder if he sort of regrets coming back for one more season. Broke a few more records but getting Farve-like with the INTs and poor throws.

ClockShot 11-15-2015 06:46 PM

Aside from the Green Bay game, offense has been in a funk. Pissed that they reverted back to their start of the season bullshit and the defense gotta bail them out every game.

Not working today.

road doggy dogg 11-15-2015 06:49 PM

got a chuckle out of this. 'merica

(if you, like me, had a hard time seeing the actual France flag, it's right at the bottom border of the photo, near-center)

Ruien 11-15-2015 07:11 PM

Awesome things about football this year.

1. IND is playing well again
2. CIN is going 16-0
3. BAL lost to the Jags.

McLegend 11-15-2015 07:32 PM

There is no way that is a catch.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-15-2015 07:39 PM

Damnit they doing it to us again. Come on Brady.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-15-2015 07:48 PM

I don't get Icing the kicker. Just gives him more time for a great kicker to get ready. Maybe if he's a rookie or something it effects him.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-15-2015 07:49 PM

Fuck you giants undefeated.

Emperor Smeat 11-15-2015 07:50 PM
