Mr. Nerfect dropping truth bombs that people can't handle.

Gertner dropping troll bombs that people can handle because he does it all the time.

This is you, toward anyone who likes AEW, or even today's WWE. People have talked about WWE being shit for a while. The difference is, you don't get upset at them for agreeing with you. People enjoy AEW, maybe because its the "fresh coat of paint" right now, but they enjoy it none the less. This upsets you, because in your opinion, nothing in the wrestling world is "good". You are attempting to stop people liking what they like by being aggressive when someone like Smeat simply "reposts" "News" (use that word lightly). Either way, people seem to like it for their own reasons, in the same vein you dislike it for your own reasons. It's safe to say that 99% of wrestling fans don't go into the levels of details that you do, therefore they will not care. Your average ape will just see what's on the TV and decide if they enjoy what's there. Nothing about ratings, backstage rumors or anything else, actually matters to the casual viewer. Your issues tend to be that things are they way YOU want them. You will say that wrestling marks are the dumbest and easy to manipulate, and in the same breath complain about who is cheered and booed. It's strange. I dunno why I'm even bothering. You'll respond as per usual and probably pissed off. |

No, really…
Have Noid and xrod 69’d yet? |

In fact Mr Nerfect used to get mad at me for pointing out how stupid AEW was at the start. Then at some point AEW kept being stupid and he admitted I was right. Fundamentally though we like different things. Not to speak for him, but pretty consistently he has made the point that he wanted AEW to be something different and better than WWE. I on the otherhand enjoy AEW more and more as time has gone on BECAUSE they have got rid of lots of their stupid shit and replaced them with interesting former WWE guys. So to answer your idiotic and immature question, no, just because I do not have blind loyalty to one wrestling company does not mean I have sexual relations with the other people who also aren't full blown AEW Cultists. |

I have him on ignore, but a Noid "this is why *show this week* sucked ass" would probably be a ratings hit around here.

If people would just stop engaging with Mr. Noidfect then maybe our fun conversations around here wouldn't constantly get wasted by pages and pages of arguments involving this guys opinion. Just. Stop. Replying.

Proof of vaccination is now required by AEW for entry into Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe on the 22nd.

my guess is it's something to do with NY or at least anticipating NY making that move because as far as i know it's not required for all out on sunday.
|
Almost certainly coming from New York. I'd probably be willing to bet the roof is shut no matter what the weather is. The way things have been trending with the weather I think September will still be humid as balls and it might stay warm into mid-October or so. Probably gonna be the norm in future years.
So they might close it up and throw the AC on. Closed roof probably better for the noise ambiance anyway. |

yeah we have to wear masks at all out. so if it turns out like the first dance, 10% of people will wear them.
|
It looked like a lot of people weren’t wearing them but you’re supposed to wear them “unless eating or drinking”. They did not have a crowd of wrestling fans in mind when they added that loophole.

My bad. Should’ve said I didn’t read the majority of it. Caught the “idiotic and immature question” line and that was it.

Ah so it could end up being an open roof weather permitting it seems.

They say this about Lucas Oil Stadium too, but barely ever open it and it's dumb. Was cool AF when they would open the giant windows and have a helo fly up to it tho. |
I'm wondering what will happen with Jericho and MJF at All Out. Either way, I think The Pinnacle should implode shortly thereafter. I'm ready for Wardlow to turn on MJF, that can be facilitated at the PPV with Wardlow making a mistake and costing MJF the match.
The Pinnacle doesn't even feel like a group anymore. Last night I don't think commentary mentioned that FTR was apart of the stable at all. FTR and Tully don't need to be apart of a group outside of themselves, maybe a trio with Spears but Wardlow and MJF need to be on their own. Also. Andrade is now facing a mystery opponent at the PPV because PAC can't get to Chicago. I am going to put my cash on Adam Cole, I don't see Danielson's first match being unannounced and also against Andrade, just doesn't seem likely. But then I'd say the same for Adam Cole too. Looking through the AEW roster on their website the only current roster member that would be a satisfying surprise and match would be Sammy Guevara. I don't think it would be smart to have Andrade take the fall in whatever match it is, which is also why Danielson and Cole aren't the best choices. I think it could be super awesome if Cole debuts alongside Hangman and they attack The Bucks. Danielson should get involved with Omega. The trio of Cole, Danielson and Hangman could form a mega face stable to go against The Elite for a while, I think that could be pretty sick. |
Would Cole not be subjected to a 90 day clause, or is it shorter for him :D
|
his contract straight up expired so he is exempt from a noncompete
|
That'd be a tiny bit of time, like, smaller than all the rest amirite.

Where did you hear that Andrade is gonna face a mystery opponent... I don't see anything about that?

They said it on Dynamite.

oh really
edit: just saw Andrade also tweeted <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="und" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/AndradeElIdolo?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@AndradeElIdolo</a> vs ? <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/AllOut?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#AllOut</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chicago?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chicago</a> <a href="https://t.co/XS2WN3GvW0">pic.twitter.com/XS2WN3GvW0</a></p>— “EL IDOLO” ANDRADE (@AndradeElIdolo) <a href="https://twitter.com/AndradeElIdolo/status/1433228697725808640?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 2, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

I guess it's not confirmed but Andrade is teasing. https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/20...t-aew-all-out/ |
Yeah I think Guevara would be a good opponent

What about Malakai Black? Not for Andrade, but if he isn't working at match at the PPV then I think that's kind of insane. I'm assuming that Cody returns on Rampage to set up a match at the PPV or maybe he get's booked against someone else. Again, it's not really a story at all but if he cut a promo and Archer came out to confront him, Lance would get a babyface pop and it would probably be a great match. |
Andrade and Black had some good matches in NXT. Seen it before, which is the bad. Their matches were decent, which is the good.
Not buying the PPV this time. If my mother in law wants it, we will watch it here, but def not shelling out the $$$$ |
I'm probably not purchasing the PPV but streaming it. I would buy it if I knew that I'd get a workable stream. Every single AEW PPV I've ever bought through the BR Live App has failed me. The last one I was actually fully refunded for.
I know they have a new app but I have zero faith that it won't give me issues. I'm not special case, I have excellent wifi and cast from phone to chomecast with no issues on any other service. I do have the option of purchasing on Sling and I may do that but also fuck it I can watch a stream. |
