:-\ Pats lose. Offense stunk today regardless of the injuries problems.

McLegend 01-03-2016 05:16 PM

I do want Sam Bradford to come back. I like him and think he is good.

Browns GM joins the list of pre-Black Monday firings. Got fired prior to their game today.

Simple Fan 01-03-2016 07:15 PM

Browns fire head coach to.

Droford 01-03-2016 07:35 PM

Waiting for the Onion article "City of Cleveland fires the Browns"

ClockShot 01-03-2016 07:48 PM

Seriously hope that nobody takes those Browns job openings during the offseason and they just shut down operations or something.

Droford 01-03-2016 09:09 PM

Relocate the Browns to LA

Emperor Smeat 01-03-2016 09:18 PM

According to reports, Browns expected to dump Johnny Manziel soon.

Follows reports of him showing up drunk to a practice session last week and failing to follow their concussion protocol by partying in Vegas last night. Didn't even bother to be at the Browns final game of the season.

Nooooooooooooo. Cleveland can keep him I don't want to see him as a Cowboy next year.

#1-norm-fan 01-03-2016 09:36 PM

Maybe it's all an elaborate plan for Johnny to be a complete fuckup on and off the field so that he gets released and can go to Dallas and become the GOAT.

YOU NEVER KNOW.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-03-2016 09:58 PM

Shit, Jets out and Pittsburgh in. Gonna be a tough team to beat.

Emperor Smeat 01-03-2016 10:39 PM

49ers fired head coach Jim Tomsula after just one season on the job.

Evil Vito 01-03-2016 10:42 PM

Not that Tomsula was good or anything but jesus christ...look at all the dudes that retired in the offseason. Look at that roster. What was he expected to do?

Emperor Smeat 01-03-2016 10:45 PM

Supposedly just be a motivator while everyone else handled the actual coaching stuff which sounds really odd to do for a head coach hiring.

This was the 49ers master plan going into the season:

In fact, Drew Henson, who played for Tomsula in Europe, said that Tomsula compared favorably to Lloyd Carr, Joe Torre and Bill Parcells as a motivator.

Read a RUMOR that Chip Kelly wants the SF job.

Evil Vito 01-03-2016 11:55 PM

I also read that the Niners could try to trade with the Saints for Payton.

Evil Vito 01-03-2016 11:55 PM

Adam Gase is about to be a busy man. Already has interviews booked with the Eagles, Dolphins, and Browns.

Splaya 01-04-2016 12:43 AM

Apparently there is a rumor floating around that the Lions are about to have an interviw with Chip Kelly

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-04-2016 01:39 AM

Heard rumors on the news that Nick Sabin might want to give it another go.

ClockShot 01-04-2016 06:26 AM

Not much to predict on Black Monday since a lot of firings happened yesterday.

Would rather the Cowboys trade for RG3 than I would Manziel.

Evil Vito 01-04-2016 11:15 AM

No idea what the Giants will do in the draft. They need help basically everywhere.

They may even have to go Offensive Tackle for the 3rd time in 4 years. Feels like its harsh to slap the bust tag on Ereck Flowers already. He was put in a tough spot, was supposed to play right tackle and instead he got moved to left tackle with zero professional experience.

But he still graded out as the worst tackle in football by a wide margin according to Pro Football Focus. And recent league history suggests that tackles rarely improve. You either are good right out of college or you suck and get moved to guard soon thereafter.

Simple Fan 01-04-2016 12:12 PM

Glad the Cowboys are not in the middle of the draft this year but hate what it took to get a top 5 pick. Don't know who they take at 4. Don't see a QB good enough to take that early. Really should draft a RB but I'm not sure the 4th pick would be a great spot to reach on a RB. Always find a group of players if like to see Dallas pick and they never pick any but I'd like to see them get one of the top backs either Elliot, Henry, or the Arkansas RB. Pharroh Cooper the WR out our South Carolina is another guy I'd like to see them take but probably won't. Defensively it's a homer pick for me but Josh Harvy Clemons out of Louisville is a DBiI'd like to see them grab as well.

Tom Coughlin is resigning/retiring. London isn't that bad, even if the game isn't @ Wembley :(

Evil Vito 01-04-2016 02:40 PM

I will miss watching Coughlin lose his shit on the sideline. But it's time.

Emperor Smeat 01-04-2016 03:56 PM

According to ESPN, seems like the 49ers are interested the most in Sean Payton if he leaves but right now are looking at Chip Kelly who wants to coach there.

Evil Vito 01-04-2016 04:05 PM

Frank Reich, possibly the greatest backup QB in NFL history, takes the fall in San Diego. Fired as offensive coordinator.

They were 4th in the league in passing this year. Run game sucked but they had a million injuries on the O-line. Feels like they just needed a scapegoat.

I would 1000% like Payton over Kelly, but I don't think they lose anything by at least listening to what he has to say... good to have options

I think every other play a Charger went down to injury on Sunday vs. Denver. Practically had zero bench when the game was over.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-04-2016 10:10 PM

Chuck Pagano is coming back next season. Not really his fault Luck got hurt. It's his fault Luck has been exposed when he has played though. Everybody has Lucks number and Pagano will probably not survive 2016.

Our sources tell us Manziel was at a popular night club on the strip Saturday night. The QB entered wearing a blonde wig, a fake mustache, glasses, and a hoodie.

Manziel introduced himself as “Billy.” He was there into the 3am hour and when it came time to pay the bill, he asked to have it comped because he didn’t bring cash and also didn’t want to put it on his card.

However, the sources tell us he ended up paying with his card and signing the check.

By 3am he appeared to be enjoying the party scene that Vegas is known to offer.

The club had Manziel and his crew placed at a VIP table close to the DJ booth. The table is located in one of the darkest areas of the club.

Manziel dined at the club’s restaurant before going to the nightclub. He was seated at the most private area in the restaurant, which is still out in the open. And yes, he ate with his wig and glasses on.

Chargers, Raiders, and Rams all filed the official paperwork for relocation. Owners vote on who gets to move or not won't happen till between January 12th and 13th.

According to CBS Sports, none of the proposals have enough votes to win on their own although the Chargers/Raiders option seems to be the favorite. Also being teased that if Chargers split from the Raiders, they are likely the team to move since owners prefer them out of the three to move first. Rams owner seems to have lost support recently with the owners and might try to get Chargers/Raiders move blocked if he doesn't get his way.

Evil Vito 01-04-2016 11:52 PM

In the event the Chargers and Raiders both move, one of them will have to go to the NFC West with a team moving to the AFC West.

Seahawks are assumed to be the team that would go to the AFC West since they're a former AFC team and their rivalry with the Niners has already fizzled. But it'd be kinda weird to take a team that's been a perennial Super Bowl contender and move them to the other conference. Cardinals are really good too so moving them seems unfair. And the Niners have too much NFC lineage.

Would be awkward as all hell for the Rams though if they lose their relocation bid AND have to change divisions.

road doggy dogg 01-05-2016 08:25 AM

That Manziel story sounds too fantastic. I hope they don't run him out of the league, we need a ridiculous character like him to stick around.
