<font color=goldenrod>Riley's path wasn't even a real story, just something I threw together on the fly. He wound up winning the WWE Title from CM Punk at the Royal Rumble. Couldn't believe it. Even with his momentum-increased stats, he was well behind Punk. 4 huge, CPU controlled wins in one month. Love it because it gives everybody a fighting chance. :cool:

The game-generated storylines are certainly wonky. It kept wanting me to play Santino vs. Kevin Nash and when I finally did, Kozlov ran out early on, turned on Santino, and Nash won instantly. This despite the fact that Kozlov is a free agent.

Similarly, they keep wanting me to play the Road Warriors vs. Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicutty for some reason even though the Road Warriors aren't currently being used. It's obvious there are just some pre-set stories going on irregardless of brand. It's not a big deal because I prefer to pick my own matches anyway rather than be at the mercy of Match Flow.</font>

<font color=goldenrod>Oh yeah, and that random celebration thing happened with me too. Awesome Truth from Raw came out to celebrate with Mark Henry from SmackDown after his successful title defense at the Rumble against Orton. Seems like they just have a random heel team come out to celebrate. Definitely a bug, but nothing that can't be ignored.

I've only done one actual match in RTWM, and I struggled my way through it before winning in a bit of a fluke. I jobbed twice in the next one before heading back to Universe. :o Game is way harder this year, which I enjoy.</font>

As do I. I'm having a blast getting my ass handed to me from the submissions which has taken a couple hours to get used to but I should be fine now.

<font color=goldenrod>Can't help but feel like they've fucked up the Rumble to a degree. While the ability to break up eliminations was a nice touch...the CPU just totally overdoes it. They break up eliminations far more often than they actually double team, which means the Rumble gets to be extremely tedious. If you don't have an even amount of people in the ring, the "odd man out" will always fuck up eliminations. If Rumble finishers hadn't seemingly been removed, this wouldn't be as big of a deal.

A lot of people had requested longer Rumbles...guess this was their solution to that.</font>

Rumble finishers are there, both leaning against the ropes and apron versions.

<font color=goldenrod>Yeah, finally saw a couple. They just happen far less frequently it seems. Dolph Ziggler finally loses the US Title to Zack Ryder in the opening match at the Rumble...but then goes on to win the Rumble match itself. Moving on to bigger and better things.</font> :cool:

Nice, all I've done in Universe so far was the first Raw and Superstars. Riley beats JR in a match on superstars then beats the hell of of Cole for assulting JR after it.

MITB is the same as last year, cash in and there's no initial match. Only difference is that the current champion is battered and the guy cashing it in has a sig at the start.

This is becoming too much...

It was Christian Vs. Nash for the WCW title, cashed in with my CAW, hit my sig and finisher and was seen celebrating with the WHC. Bit weird.

Then I go back to the menus and see Christian is still WCW champ and I'm WHC, an inactive title. Fucking hell.

One thing I hate about universe mode, is the inactive titles not being allowed to be removed from the superstars themselves. Also can't find out how to change the WWE Championship to the Undisputed Championship, if it's even possible.

Go to the schedule, pick a show and press x or square to edit it depending on what format you're on and you can change belts.

Oh and as for inactive belts, shove them on someone inactive. All mine are on a CAW called vacant.

<font color=goldenrod>2nd show in February and finally the first injury. ADR finally ended his losing streak via absolute massacre on John Morrison. Got the whole "career ending injury?" message. I do hope that all injuries eventually go away, since if I want to change match participants I can't use him if it's back.

If it actually IS a career ender...well, then all games are going to be unplayable after a few years of Universe when too many people are out forever.</font>

I got that too after Raws main event, Big Show got taken out on a stretcher from my brothers caw which was his mystery opponent. I would think that they eventually go away or else it be stupid to have a mode that permanently injures the game characters to the point they are unusable in Universe mode.

Yeah, injuries are totally random. Unless 30 belly to bellies with 29 F5's and a lot to the steps and being elbow dropped through the announce table doesn't hurt too bad. And a shooting star press for good measure.

My brother let me take his 360 out of his room to bring to mine, it took me 20m to get the AV/Component cable to display in 1080i since for some reason 1080p didn't work when my TV is a 1080p. So I switched out that cable for the HD cable I use for my PS3 and BOOM, auto 1080p :). Now to actually rip the cd then play, I burnt Billy Gunn's Ass Man and I've Got It All both with arena effects, just need to decide which one to use.

Me and my guys are having great matches with this. And you know me and anything where I can create shit - so many options. Give me lots of time before I make something to show. But for now it's gonna be making two CAW promotions completely void of real wrestlers. Lots of time!

Don't care for RtM and such. We're a multiplayer clan here. We even spend moneys on unlocking everything so we don't have to worry about it.

Hate in universe you can't just edit the whole show before hand and then play through it. You have to go back to the menu every time if you want to change something. :n:

The advantage on PS3 is you don't have to burn a disc and rip it or have to make a stupid little "playlist" for each individual custom theme.

Last year I had to that with the PS3 version, even it was only so that only one song repeats if the song ends, not the next theme in it.

Cant you just use the themes you,ve ripped from previous games?

<font color=goldenrod>Draft Pro-Tip: After a pick is made, go back to the menu and make them a free agent until the draft is over. Hearing a lot of people are having their games pull a Cena with getting drafted to one show and then getting drafted back before it's over. Actually happened to me with Big Show.

Also, champions DO get drafted. R-Truth (one of of the tag champs) went to SmackDown while World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan got shipped to Raw. But much like last year's game, you still appear on SD until you lose the belt.</font>

Got it from amazon UK today, first impressions are the new controls will take getting used to, I'm finding grappling very awkward at the moment as well as reversals being pretty random. Also the way the camera hard-pans out when you do a taunt is really odd.

Glad they added background autosaving though, went through the roster making edits in a flash.

Got online, downloaded Kurt Angle which allows editing and couldn't edit the moveset, managed to stay connected long enough to download it again and it now allows editing. It should be fixed when THQ finally fixes the connection problems.

Rage quit after Rey Mysterio beat me as R-Truth even though I had him beat the whole match, my reversals stopped working and I got destroyed, so sat there shouting at the screen calling it a fucking cheating game.

Went back in an hour later with Miz and double teamed him, it brought a smile to my face after the match as John Cena ran down to stand over Rey's limp injured body calling for help, mwhahahahaha.

So much for delivery on day of release,fucking amazon.

The AI in this game is fucking ridiculous when it comes to breaking up moves. Trying to do the Elimination Chamber in RTW and failing the objectives because Cena feels a need to break up every move I do on an opponent.

Only had about 20 minutes mucking around on this so far. Had a championship scramble match, down to the last 15 seconds and Sin Cara tries a finisher, I reverse it and BOOM RKO for the 3 count.

I might be a bit retarded but couldn't find where to select championship one on one matches, could only find ones with multiple opponents.

Got this with Skyrim, so dont know exactly how much I'll be playing this over the coming weeks.

Hit LB to edit a match and edit it entirely (don't just change participants) and once you're picking the champion in a one-on-one match, press X for advanced and the option should come up after Manager and attire options.

How is the scramble this year? Do random people still break up the pins and once more than two or three are out it's basically impossible to score a win?

They still break it up, but they seem to get hurt quicker with the timelimit. I managed to get Daniel Bryan to win with a labell lock because the breaking point was close to full when I hit it so Christian tapped in about a second.

<font color=goldenrod>Sucks about the Scramble match. Really the champion is the only one who should be worried about breaking up pins, but it's probbaly harder to fix the AI in that respect.

May try a 20 minute scramble and make it falls count anywhere so pins are easier to pull off.</font>

I'm checking the finishers out and Marcus Cor Von's Pounce(Should Block version as the real one was removed in SvR 10) but it's been removed, as has the Stalking RKO not that I was gonna use it. To think I believed them when they said they didn't remove any, but other than that I'm loving this game.

<font color=goldenrod>Reading lists of glitches that people have had, I feel fortunate that I haven't encountered most of them. Some have even gone as far as saying that they feel like they've just spent $60 on an unfinished beta.

The only ones that I've seen are the random cutscenes of non-roster people getting involved. But that was always going to happen. The producers even said they purposely have non-roster people getting involved for the surprise factor. It's really a shame that they can't program it so that you ONLY have people on specific brands appearing on certain shows. But I can work around it.</font>

Have had guys run to ringside to do nothing quite a bit. JoMo ran down at the start of a match and then Sin Cara came through the crowd to "even the odds", even though both did nothing.

Had a pretty fun match as D-Bryan vs Sheamus where I got my ass handed to me (including taking the High Cross twice), kicked out at 2.8 and won with a Crucifix Pin.
