I'd advise getting it from Play.com. The Instrument Pack is £99 and the game is £40 so altogether it's about £30 cheaper then if you bought from somewhere else. Also use the code experience08 for a 5% Discount. It's not much I know but it's better then paying the £180 everywhere else expects you to.

Not bad, but I got about £150 credit at Game, so thats the only reason why I'm getting it from there.

Ah probably best then, I used my reward card to get the game itself. So I'm only paying for the Instruments themselves.

Harmonix announces Rock Band II

You're officially going to need a bigger garage...!

Harmonix has announced that Rock Band is about to get a sequel, and a "fully fledged sequel in line with the sort of sequel you'd expect from other big game names" sayeth Harmonix. As yet they're playing things quite close to their chest with no massive announcement about new or updated peripherals (it's about time someone gave you something wilder, guitar wise, than just a Fender or Gibson knock off, don't you think?)

The sequel's scheduled for 2009 and will feature the same downloadable content sharing dynamic as the first title. More details when we get 'em.
