Bears don't play the 46. It's a version of Tampa's Cover 2 scheme, named "Bears 2".

Kris P Lettus 10-08-2006 11:45 PM

I thought the 46 was first used by the Bears??

Buddy Ryan's "46" from the 80s? Yeah, we played that. Not any more.

Crippla 10-09-2006 12:59 AM

Didn't realize I hadn't re-subscribed to this thread yet.

BCWWF 10-09-2006 01:09 AM

Subscribed? WTF

Anyway, Bears barely beat the Vikings but then kick the shit out of the Bills? WTF, regardless, they are damn good this year.

I only saw part of the Vikings game when at lunch, looked boring yet again, but I guess can't complain about a win.

Caught parts of the Eagles game, and Drew Bledsoe is not a good enough quarterback to play with TO. They need to do better than that.

Larry Johnson almost died, when he wasn't moving I thought it was going to be real bad. Glad he got up and walked off the field. It sucks too, because No. 18 missed a blatant block, he had two easy opportunities to do it, and LJ would have been in. Hope he is OK.

Also, care more about college football this year, Vikings are too boring to get behind and the Rams are so shitty and in such a shitty division that we never get good NFC games here.

Yeah I saw that, damn that was scary

D Mac 10-09-2006 05:56 AM

Fuck yeah it was.

Good win tho.

and HAHAHAHAHAHA

RAIDERS ARE 0-4

Crippla 10-09-2006 09:30 AM

Raiders are gonna be 0-16 and not win a game all season.

YES, I subscribe to threads and you forgot to mention New England's win over Miami.

RP 10-09-2006 11:45 AM

OMG the Colts are probably the worst 5-0 team ever. I can think of multiple reasons why they will probably lose 4 of the next 5 games they play. I guess the secrets out. We're starting Dave Chappele and Don Cheadle on our interior defense. Feel free to take the 15 yard run every down. My god. I cant believe we miss Triplett that much. And we really need Corey Simon, but he's on the non football injury list for being fat. Bob Sanders has been injured the past 3 games. We're fucked.

We should be 2-3. I really feel like the Colts just woke up and won the last 3 games. Its really unbelievable if you look at stats. Colts are in big trouble.

Running game isnt that bad though.

Crippla 10-09-2006 12:03 PM

Yeah. LOL @ The Colts beating the Titans by 1 point BTW.

I didn't watch a second of that game, why was I supposed to mention it?

I missed most of the Pats game yesterday due to taking advantage of probably the last really warm day before winter starts but glad to see they got the W. I kept going to check the score and it seemed like they where struggling with a Joey Harrington led team though :-\

Oh yeah what happened to all the Dolphin dickriders? They are winning the AFC East this year easily

The Miz 10-09-2006 03:29 PM

The Arizona Cardinals/Miami Dolphins will win the NFC/AFC West/East

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2006 04:18 PM

Did Bush's stats help you out, Steemah??

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-09-2006 04:23 PM

Yes got like 24 pts on my Yahoo league with my friends

Got beat by NerF in the TPWW one tho :( (Don't have Bush in that one)

Though I picked Arizona to win the NFC West, Detroit to win the NFC North, Pittsburgh to be 14-2, a Carolina vs. New England Super Bowl (which is what the experts at ESPN predicted!), and Tampa Bay to make it to the NFC championship, none of that matters because I did not cave in to the Dolphins hype!!!!!!!!

DrA 10-09-2006 05:00 PM

"TO was not a factor in the game"

Did they not see the game? Owens was open 384334 times, it was Bledsoe that either did not see him, or when he did see him threw it to Lito Sheppard or a goal post.

DrA 10-09-2006 05:02 PM

It's the Jay Mariottis of the world that have turned sports journalism into garbage.

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2006 05:05 PM

And Skip Balis..

:y:

He's a fag.

BCWWF 10-09-2006 05:58 PM

Was Joe Buck calling that game? It sounded like him, and he was being overly critical of TO for no reason, so I had to assume so.

Nervous Ferret 10-09-2006 06:00 PM

God I hate Joe Buck, and ya it was him

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2006 06:19 PM

Him and Aikman..

Triple A 10-09-2006 06:27 PM

Remember when Randy Moss "mooned" the crowd and Joe Buck FLIPPED OUT and then ESPN wouldn't even show the highlights because of how "disgusting" it was

Nervous Ferret 10-09-2006 06:31 PM

lol ya was just thinking about that

Thats odd. Of all the annoying twatbag announcers I don't mind Buck or Aikman. Maybe its because I have such a deep hatred for the worse ones that Buck and Aikman come off okay with me.

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2006 06:45 PM

Better than Jay Glazer..

Kinda off topic, but who was the Packers player that slammed Jim McMahon way after he had thrown the ball, back in the day??

Triple A 10-09-2006 06:49 PM

I really like Aikman as an announcer, actually. I never really minded Joe Buck until the Randy Moss thing either, but he is kinda annoying in a "full of himself" type of way.

Nervous Ferret 10-09-2006 06:55 PM

I started hating Joe Buck when he was doing a World Series game and he was Nexteling Micheal Strahan in the booth the same day that the Giants got pummeled. This probably stems from my hatred of Nextel and Micheal Strahan though

OssMan 10-09-2006 06:55 PM

Aikman is so annoying as the announcer, I often find myself gloating with satisfaction after I calmly press the mute button on my remote when he is talking.

OssMan 10-09-2006 06:56 PM

Jevon Kearse is a freak of nature. He is a real physical player and can get in the quarterback's face.
