MJ Drew will rush for 100 more yards and two more TDs on your precious Bob Sanders before the night is over

Kris P Lettus 10-22-2007 10:50 PM

TYhat was an amazing catch Wayne just made to end the third quarter..

Colts looked pretty good last night, it was really the first time I've seen them since the opening week. Looking forward to November 4th, gonna be a hell of a game

RP 10-23-2007 10:01 AM

Everytime i think about November 4th, i think about the AC/DC song Highway To Hell.

RP 10-23-2007 10:07 AM

I agree with Nerf somewhat. I mean, the game is 2 weeks away and we're already getting Colts vs Patriots segments on ESPN.

I think both teams have some really tough games next week.

what do you expect? 2 great teams, with great recent histories, afc championships, superbowls, etc... etc...

although it would be rather funny if both teams lose next week...

I think the key for the Colts to beat the Pats is do what the Pats always did to beat the Colts. Jam the WR and throw off the timing patters and take away the deep pass.

I really don't think anyone has come close to challenging the pats this year, thats why I want to see the colts, see a real defense how they do.

I think we're just gunna run the ball down the Pats throats and Bob Sanders is gunna rape Tom Brady on the 50 yard line.

Gonzo 10-23-2007 11:06 AM

I don't bother watching ESPN because its a joke. Monday Night Football is nearly ruined for me because of the announcing. Its more like watching Maury Povich than it is a football broadcast, because the announcers are more concerned with whats going on off the field than anything on the field. And yeah, its okay to mentiong something whatever but these guys go into these long winded diatribes about shit, and its fucking stupid.

Kris P Lettus 10-23-2007 11:38 AM

I like Gerrard but am glad he got hurt cause he won't prolly play against us next Sunday..

road doggy dogg 10-23-2007 11:50 AM

Not trying to discredit the Colts at all, but if Garrard didn't go down I think last night's game would've been really close.

Kris P Lettus 10-23-2007 01:11 PM

Well, I actually picked the Jags to upset.. Their D is uber stout and they always play the Colts tight.. I had no idea how well Gerrard was doing this season till last night either..

I really hope running the ball and blitzing is the plan for the Colts, if it is the Pats will blow them out and it wont be close.

I'm not very familiar with the Colts DB's, do you have anyone near moss height? That's how GB used to stop him, double team him with guys near his height, double teaming him with 5'10 guys does nothing.

Kinda tough to find any corners in the NFL at 6 foot 4?

The Colts starting Corners are both listed at 6 foot (Kelvin Hayden, and Marlin Jackson). Of course everyone knows that if you double Moss it is just going to leave all the other Pats WR's open for Brady.

Kris P Lettus 10-24-2007 09:39 PM

I don't think I've ever seen a DB over like 6'1"..

Rain Man 10-24-2007 10:02 PM

Yeah and did you hear when brian griese drove 97 yards in 1:37 to beat the Eagles? and you thought his dad was good.

you'll see. I havent been wrong on my predictions this year. I think the Colts will hold the Pats to 24 pnts or less. And i also think the Colts will be on top of them early. The Pats will play from behind. And there wont be many deep passes once Brady drops back and gets blown up by Freeney or Mathis. Mark my words. First time it happens its gunna be a sack and then its over. OVER

But seriously, ESPN has really jumped the gun. Theres still a week infront of this game.

MTH15 10-25-2007 12:42 PM

Damnit Falcons.....maybe we can beat them the second time. I hope we go 2-14 damnit. We suck bull-ass

MTH15 10-25-2007 12:50 PM

lol @ the 72 dolphins. I hope the Falcons go 1-15 or 2-14

SammyG 10-25-2007 01:26 PM

No, I want that number 1 pick.

SammyG 10-25-2007 01:26 PM

Although we are kinda fucked. We dont need a QB, or a RB. We will prolly take a good DE.

WR??

Torry Holt is pretty old..

Kris P Lettus 10-25-2007 02:12 PM

So according to Mike and Mike, if both the Colts and the Pats win this weekend, Brady and Manning will be the first QB's to ever beat all 31 other NFL teams.. Like, Brady has never beaten the Skins and Manning has never beaten the Panthers..

Crazy..

SammyG 10-25-2007 02:59 PM

I don't think we are gonna take a WR with such a high pick. Prolly a good DE, as I said.

For whatever its worth, I was listening to ESPN radio (forget which program) and someone made the point that the way to beat the Pats defense is to spread them out, because they can't hang with the spread. If anyone can do that its the Colts.

might happen, i just dont see it... the Pats have never had an offense this good, this could go down as one of the best offenses of all time, Brady is on track to shatter most passing records and they still have a good running game. The OL is playing great and most of them can play more then one spot w/o losing a step.

Do I expect Brady to get sacked at some point, of course, but it wont change the game plan.

but as it's been pointed out... the Brady and Manning are each facing the only team they have never beat this week, so who knows....

Kris P Lettus 10-26-2007 12:38 PM

So Alex Smith is starting for the Niners on Sunday.. Makes me alittle more nervous than if he wasn't but I think that if we pressure him like we did Hasselbeck and Leftwich, we'll be aiight..

I hate that Reggie is gonna burn my boy P-Willy..

:(

Also, I heard that Gerrard has to sit for a month after the Colts game.. I also heard he'll only sit a week.. Anyone know if he's supposed to play or not next week?? If he doesn't play, I don't see us having any trouble with the Jag, bot with how he played the first 6 weeks and how stout their D is, it'll be a hard win if he does even though it's at home..

SammyG 10-26-2007 07:02 PM

We are getting our first win on Sunday. BOUT TIME.

Anthony Gonzales is starting for Harrison today. I think he'll have a big game.

I'm worried about Ugoh being out tho.

If the Colts and Pats do stay undefeated, i'm interested in seeing if the NFL moves there game to the primetime slot instead of Dallas vs Philadelphia. I dont see why not. It makes way to much sense.

New England-Indy is obviously a bigger game but I don't see any way that the NFL goes out of their way to make an important Cowboys game more difficult to see.

#1-norm-fan 10-28-2007 12:54 PM

Oh wait, it's the Sunday Night game. Yeah... not a chance.

RP 10-28-2007 01:18 PM

How is that game important? The Eagles suck nuts

UmbrellaCorporation 10-28-2007 01:50 PM

WTF is going on with the Colts/Panthers game so far?

Indianapolis is losing to Carolina. Which I would imagine is only a temporary pipe dream by the Panthers, but still. I'm surprised Carolina is up at all.

Won't be for long though. Bob Sanders.

Crimson 10-28-2007 03:55 PM

BTW flex scheduling doesn't start until week 11 so it doesn't really matter what the networks wants to do because they can't change it.

I heard on the radio it was week 8.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-28-2007 04:20 PM

The Patriots always throw to Vrabel on the goaline. So why is he never covered?

MVP 10-28-2007 05:30 PM

17-0 Pats

They must be running up the score

Last week they covered Vrabel and Brady threw to Kyle Brady streaking across the back of the end zone...its just a really well designed play, kinda gotta pick your poison.

They also always use Vrabel in that formation, so while it seems like they throw to him every time he is the game, they really don't. 10 career catches 10 touchdowns though, gotta be some type of record lol

RP 10-28-2007 05:47 PM

Anyone ever notice how horrible the coverage is on every single one of Moss's touchdowns. Like last week when he was catching bombs with 3 guys around in around his waist...lol

Supreme Olajuwon 10-28-2007 06:06 PM

well yeah when you push off like he did today you're gonna get pretty open

Moss' touchdown against Cincy was just a perfect throw and catch though. The DB had good position but it didn't matter.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-28-2007 06:42 PM

45-0

Supreme Olajuwon 10-28-2007 06:43 PM

lol the commentators saying it was smart for the Pats to go for it on 4th down up by 38 in the 4th quarter to run more time off the clock and then they throw for a touchdown

McLegend 10-28-2007 06:44 PM

What a huge FU touchdown.

I love it. I bet it's gonna be real bad when they play the Eagles though.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-28-2007 06:48 PM

Yeah I didn't think it was bad against the Dolphins at all, that last TD today was a little much though. Oh well, its professional football I'm sure they will be alright.

RP 10-28-2007 06:53 PM

When the Colts smack the Pats in the face next week, the whole league will be cheering. LOL Its gunna be amazing. I'm headed downtown, but i dont have tickets to the game ( yet)

Supreme Olajuwon 10-28-2007 06:53 PM

yeah they'll be alright until someone takes it personally and goes after Brady's knees

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-28-2007 06:55 PM

Are they also gonna go after a back up QB's knees who hasn't been a stater since High School now too?

Also first time 2 coaches w/ 3 Super Bowl victories have faced each other, pretty cool

Supreme Olajuwon 10-28-2007 06:58 PM

I'm not talking about the Redskins. Who gives a shit about the Redskins? I'm talking about the Steelers and Ravens. They have the type of guys who would go out of their way to end Brady's season if they tried to run up the score.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-28-2007 07:05 PM

Yeah Baltimore is gonna be fired up anyway, due to what Thomas said about how in NE the team is about the team, where as in Baltimore its stars trying to be stars

Ray Lewis already came out and said something, saying how you shouldn't come out and talk junk to the media...but then 5 minutes later started talking shit about his head coach.

Crimson 10-28-2007 07:27 PM

Ok..Pats/Colts let's go.I mos def won't be tuning into espn this week..but I am looking forward to the game. Kinda hard to go against the Pats right now..I'm assuming they'll be favored like by 1 or something.

#1-norm-fan 10-28-2007 10:12 PM

Prediction...

Pats take a 97-48 lead with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. After weeks of bitching about New England constantly running up the score, Belichick decides to run the ball. This leads to a Maroney fumble and Indy recovering a series of onside kicks to score 49 points in less than 10 minutes and we go to overtime tied at 97.

New England wins the coin toss in OT and elects to receive. On the return, Indy proceeds to knock Wes Welker back and forth around the field for 15 straight minutes, never allowing the offense on the field and finally tackling Welker when the clock reads 0:00.

It will be remembered as one of the few occasions where the game lives up to the hype.

Evil Vito 10-29-2007 12:19 AM

<font color=goldenrod>lol @ Belichick's post-game comments

Is there a team in the NFC that can even compete with either the Colts or Patriots? Seriously...I think they should just crown an "NFC Champ" and let the AFC title game be the Super Bowl. The Patriots and Colts are gonna kick the crap out of each other next week, and then they'll do it again in the playoffs, and then blowout the Cowboys, Giants, Packers, whoevers that come out of the NFC.

Yeah I don't know what it is. The more this happens the less I can hate them. Like I despised the Patriots up to this point because of Corey Dillon and then Belichick is a huge asshole but the players who get the majority of the face time (Brady, Vrabel, Bruschi, Light) all seem like really nice guys. LOL Matt Light cracks me up all the time. That dude is hilarious.
