After watching Lawless, I truly hope they make a prohibition era Grand Theft Auto game at some point in the future.

Isn't this the thirtieth different "GTA set in..." You've wanted in the last year or so?

El Fangel 09-02-2012 08:22 PM

Probably.

So, you mean like a less PC Red Dead Redemption sequel?

I think the Mafia series are exactly that although I think only the first game is set in the 1930s.

El Fangel 09-04-2012 03:57 PM

Hmm, Ill have to look into that.

Yikes

Mooияakeя™ 09-04-2012 06:32 PM

RDR was amazing. One thing that I really like about the Us is the whole frontier / wild west thing.

El Fangel 09-05-2012 08:51 AM

As I was saying, 20 years later in Blackwater would look beautiful.

Been thinking as well if Tommy at the end of VC went to jail for 25 years and here we are later as he gets out and tries to retire to a life of privacy only for "Everytime you get out, they pull you back in"

Would be awesome to see his reaction to how the world has changed.

Just throwing that out there.

Kalyx triaD 09-05-2012 02:30 PM

I just wanna see Vice City, my home town, updated in GTA4's engine.

Like last time, I'm just gonna hope the other cities come as some huge DLC or meta-sequel update. Take a plane ride (load screen) between each major location. Hell, release that New Jersey knockoff they made for GTA4 but never polished and released.

I just want more, more, more. But mostly Vice City.

El Fangel 09-05-2012 10:00 PM

I have to say I enjoyed San Andreas more. That by no means says I didn't play the absolute shit out of Vice City.

Honestly feel if they took racing cuntface out of the game id probably finish it once a month.

Savio 09-05-2012 10:11 PM

I love finding obsurce ways to beat missions, I beat the racing cunt face mission by getting 5 stars and having him run over a spike strip.

El Fangel 09-05-2012 11:30 PM

A cop blindsided me the first time I completed it. I flipped over on my roof and cuntface pushed me over the finishline

Tommy Gunn 09-06-2012 09:14 AM

I'd also love to play Vice City on the GTA 4 engine, really thought they would too, what with so much PS2 HD collections coming out. Maybe one day.

El Fangel 09-06-2012 04:36 PM

I would give my firstborn for a HD San Andreas.

Nicky Fives 09-06-2012 09:25 PM

I'd love to see a combined effort for a mega-game..... you start in Vice City in the 70's, then make your way through to San Andreas and then Liberty City......

El Fangel 09-06-2012 11:01 PM

Holy shit. If they did that, have you be convicted of something and sent away for 25.

When you get out, cities have expanded and towns flourished. Hell if they released it as DLC Id buy it and Im cheap when it comes to games.

Kane Knight 09-07-2012 09:07 PM

unless it involves breaking and rebuying games

Nicky Fives 09-15-2012 09:40 PM

I'd prefer to see it over a 3-disc mega-set or something.....

Blu Ray, maaaaaaaaaaaaan.

Kane Knight 09-16-2012 05:42 PM

It really would be awesome if we got a sandbox that literally filled a BD.

El Fangel 09-16-2012 06:15 PM

Imagine if GTA had DLC that made the map bigger and bigger. Definitely would pay for that and enjoy the hell out of it.

Mooияakeя™ 09-18-2012 05:06 PM

I think they could easily do that. How big their dev house is too, it's a fantastic option for them. I think many would buy easily. New stories and characters etc with the opened up areas would be great.

Nicky Fives 09-18-2012 07:04 PM

all they would have to do is open a new "island" and throw in a handful of new missions/pigeons/other things to do and I would buy......

El Fangel 09-18-2012 10:17 PM

It would be amazing to take literally an hour of time to travel from one end of the map to the other by driving.

Or you could just go outside and drive for an hour.

El Fangel 09-19-2012 05:35 AM

Would you suggest I take my rocket launcher or my flamethrower?

that would not be amazing at all

I mean technologically it would be but it would suck to do

El Fangel 09-19-2012 09:39 AM

You wouldn't enjoy a game world that big? I mean they should have their nuts cut off if they did a mission spanning it but that much area would be insane.

#BROKEN Hasney 09-19-2012 10:36 AM

No, it's far too large to do anything constructive with it. Just Cause 2 is the maximum size I ever want to see, anything larger is just some text for the back of the box to boast about.

El Fangel 09-19-2012 12:41 PM

What's Just Cause like?

That is dumb and you should feel dumb.

Just Cause 2 is one of the best open world games ever. Go buy it. It's cheap now.

Kane Knight 09-19-2012 01:06 PM

You know what would be far more awesome than taking an hour to drive across the map?

More map interactivity.

El Fangel 09-19-2012 02:35 PM

Should I get Just Cause as well?

Fignuts 09-19-2012 02:48 PM

No, Just Cause was fun at the time, but it's pretty dated now. Especially considering it was one of those early titles that was made for PS2 and Xbox, and then shined up for 360.

Nothing in the story you need to know to play Just Cause 2.

El Fangel 09-19-2012 05:58 PM

Noted. Sadly since I think you have all the games I have for 360, I can't share one with you.

El Fangel 09-19-2012 06:01 PM

Dark Souls
Red Dead Redemption
NHL09
NHL08
LA Noire
Dragon Age: Origins
Fable II
Mass Effect 2
Fallout 3
Assassins Creed
Bioshock 2
Mass Effect
Bioshock
Devil May Cry 4
Crackdown
Grand Theft Auto IV
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Check that list, I am actually certain you have played everything on there.
