More than likely after the 1.5 update drops. I think they'll refrain from dlc till they at least get the base game fixed, which is what the update should do.
For the most part, anyways. Personally, I haven't experienced too many game-killing bugs. A couple of freezups here and there, but that's about it. |
I still have yet to finish the main quest. And I bought this game on launch day.
|
The first DLC pack might be called "Dawnguard" and will be a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360.
http://www.egmnow.com/articles/news/...st-skyrim-dlc/ The 1.5 patch for the console versions is currently in certification process. The Steam patch for the PC version should be available by now. http://www.egmnow.com/articles/news/...certification/ |
Has anybody done the insane armor and weapon glitch using potions. I guess you can get your armor and weapons up to like 6 to 8000 on the rating. There is also a hidden chest under whiterun, solitude, winterhold, and markarth. There is also a glitch where you can wear multiple armors and items at the same time. The videos on how to do these are on youtube. I have tried some of these and they do work.
|
Until people install a patch that "fixes" those "issues"...
Also, can't believe it, but between the 2 characters I have I've poured in 2 weeks, 19 hours +. Dammit, I WANT MY SOUL BACK, BETHESDA!!!!!!!!!!! |
Patch has been released for 360. The Killcams are a welcome change, although they don't seem to happen terribly often. I also have yet to suplex anyone, but I have seen a couple of new animations. As for the bug fixes? Dunno about that, but I notice Lydia isn't up your ass anymore while traveling. Now she lags terribly behind. :-\

That was funny as hell. All true to.
|
Kinect support is coming to Skyrim with 200 voice commands including shouts and follower commands. Awesome
|
lmao!! I don't dare...I can't imagine what my neighbors would think if they heard "Fus DO RAH!!!" coming from my apartment.
|
"Fus Roh Dah", rather
|
Lol.

I feel like getting this. Oblivion was okay but looking at the new features it looks more interesting. I want to make some uber-powerful dual sword wielding Sephiroth level character.
|
Yes. Skyrim is much better than Oblivion, from what I hear. Personally, I haven't played Oblivion. I may have to play that and Morrowind as well because there are subtle references to it in Skyrim.
|
Morrowind and Oblivion were both great but backtracking will be disappointing.. The game play, graphics, etc will all be so bad (specially with Morrowind) that you will prolly hate them..
|
I cant wait for the next one..assuming they will make another. Hope they can keep improving it
|
So far I'm really enjoying this game. It's everything I expected Oblivion to be that it wasn't. It's just more fun and innovative.
|
How about working on the story this time, you know a good reason to replay?
|
Morrowind and Oblivion still look fantastic if you play them on PC and grab the HD texture packs.

Finally killed Alduin and got the Dragonslayer achievement.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Dawnguard DLC trailer

Must've been in the works for quite some time now, as the latest issue of Game Informer says the 360 version is set for a "Summer" release date with PS3 TBA. Word to the wise, though: wait and see what the 2nd DLC expansion will be, then decide if either are worth justifying whatever cost to download them separately and have them "day one", or better yet, if they both look to be as great as they should be given all this development time, wait for the inevitable re-release of the game on disc as some sort of "Game of the Year edition" or "complete edition"...you'll probably save at least a bit in the long run. |
So Dawnguard hits Tuesday. Anyone dropping the 20 bucks?

R.I.P. Macho Man |
After the god awful New Vegas DLC, I'm glad it's coming out on 360 first again so I can hear how it is before its released on PC.

1,600 points/twenty bucks seems steep for a 581.70 MB download...

Word. Haven't played it yet, but I had the pooints lying around.

It's about 10-20 hours depending on skill. So far it's been reported that you have to be level 70 or higher to fight the Legendary Dragon. Also the story has two sides you can take, giving it a replay option. All achievements are possible in one single playthrough for those that care about that thing.
I have played into it a few hours and I really like it. The story seems very interesting, I picked the vampire side. Not sure if it's price-worthy yet but we'll see. So far it's got a high approval rating. |
Started a new file last night and not really as into as I would like to be. Feel bored, because the story wasn't that exciting but the world is just gorgeous. Think I will wait for feedback on the DLC but strongly considering it either way.
|
I've had trouble leveling up after 50. Seems like it takes forever. Blacksmithing and Enchanting are both 100, so I can't spam Iron daggers any more. Could make potions, but alchemy bores the shit out of me. Leveled up about 5 levels just sitting there whacking Partharnax for about a half an hour, but I don't want to do that anymore.
|
Alchemy is *more* boring than pounding on a dragon for a half hour? Though I guess the fact that I have barely touched alchemy as a thief/mage lover is sign enough.
