Shrieve is brutal. I know it was Swarzak and Warren who fell apart first, but I've not seen Shrieve do anything impressive.

I don't know what's worse, being the team to lose 1-0 and blow 1st and 3rd with 1 out in the ninth or being the team to blow a 6-0 lead after the fifth inning following a rain delay.

I know blowing the game is quite shit, but one is blowing a good pitching/defensive performance the other is wasting a great bit of hitting.

I'm not trying to brag, but the Cubs pitching will destroy everyone in the playoffs. I cant see anyone beating them. I'm not even counting there amazing defense and great bats. The pitching alone is incredible.

4 of the Cubs starters are in the top 20 in ERA in all of baseball. 5 are in the top 20 in all of the NL.

If Kyle Hendricks can pitch a complete game shutout his next game, I think he's the frontrunner.
