lol
I haven't even been to the SuperDome since Katrina.. Def not gonna go halfway around the world.. |
So will I have been to more Saints games than you this season?
|
Yes..
I haven't been to a game since 2004.. :( |
:(
Well I'd rather an NFC team win than an AFC team so it can cut down the number of wild card contenders so the Jets can make the playoffs!!!!! So I'll root for the Saints. |

|
Doesn't she have a porn out with some rapper.
|
Yeah I think it was Brandy's brother
|
As much as I hate Bill Simmons, he had a great idea in his last column on Page 2. For every road game the Saints have the fans should have the face of that dude who made the porn with Kim Kardashian on a popsicle stick and hold it up to their faces like they do on PTI. That would totally fuck with Bush's mind the whole game.
|
That was like the Hornets fan holding up the life size Eva Longoria poster while Tony Parker was taking foul shots during the playoffs last year..

Champ Bailey out a month. Boss Bailey and Patrick Ramsey done for the year.
Denver signs Chad Jackson |
There goes the cushion.
Denver is kicking themselves in the ass now that they traded Foxworth. |
Jesus H. Christ Patrick Ramsey is a brittle human being.
That explains why Cutler kept waving him off the field on that first drive. He was the only other active QB and Cutler probably wanted to save his 3 passes before the season-ender for later. |
What the fuck are the Browns doing? They've suspended Kellen Winslow for his comments about the organization. GM Phil Savage says it's because Winslow went against the team-first attitude of the organization. Bullshit, Phil.
Winslow was obviously frustrated because he got a staph infection for the second time from somewhere in the Browns' facilities where they have a history of this and was asked to keep quiet about it by the organization. That and no one from the organization ever checked on him when he was in the hospital. So he complains about how the Browns organization, specifically Savage, doesn't care about their players and he gets suspended. |
:( Harrison.
Apparently there's a very strong possibility that Rodney Harrison's career is over...:( |
I don't know what happened to him, but I'm sure he got what he deserved. Harrison is the biggest prick in the NFL.
|
Agreed. Good riddance to that douche.

Spygate 2.0
Did Favre tip off ex-Lions GM Matt Millen about how to beat the Packers? DUN DUN DUN! |
Nah I have a hard time imagine Favre doing that, because I'm sure he knew the Lions were a lost cause anyway. We could probably form a TPWW team and beat the Lions.
|
why would that even be an issue though? that's kind of stupid. I'm assuming the Packers don't have the exact same plays as last year and if they did, football is not a game that has definite answers on how to beat a team. If Farve said anything, it's just his own opinion, which is just that...an opinion
maybe I'm not seeing it like other people |
So I just heard on the news here in Charlotte that there are still 400 tickets left for the Cardinals/Panthers game this weekend and the game will be blacked out if they don't sell out. Now it will probably sell out by Sunday, but just thought that was hillarious.

Basically what happend to Harrison was that Bellichek, the genius that he is, left Harrison out there in a 35-0 blowout. Even thought he must have known that his secondary is swiss cheese already and they couldnt afford to lose him. Did i mention bellichek is a genius?

Favre came out and said they called him but he gave them no info..

He also said he thought Millen wanted to take him on a hunting trip..

Brady is still having complications due to infection in his knee.. They are saying they might have to remove the tendon and start the whole procedure over.. I am not a Brady fan by any means, but I do respect the guy and this fucking sucks for him and the Pats..

I hope this Marvin shows up at Tennessee Monday night

WHO DAT STEROID USERS!?
|
The first catch was a nasty move. I was at the game when that second catch happened.
|
Eat a dick..
Wasn't steroid, you fucking shithead, it was diuretics.. "Water pills" to maintain hydration while cutting water weight.. It has been reported that some of the 10 players to get busted, have sipulations in their contracts about maintaining a certain weight.. They keep saying that NFL players take them to cover up steroid use, but why would they take a banned substance to cover up another banned substance?? Make absolutely no sense, specially since Goodell changed it to were ANY banned substance gets you a minimum 4 games suspension.. Atleast Deuce and Smith will play Sunday, due to the appeal, but when Hollis Thomas got popped for asthma meds, he had been taken his whole (at that time) 11 year career, and was perscribe by a team doctor, even the smallest missunderstandings of the rules can bite you in the ass.. But you being an idiot about it, attempting to talk shit did make me feel better.. Thanks.. |
You know what I'm gonna do??
I'm gonna go to a party full of girls and cry about this in front of my peers then post about it.. That's what all the cool kids seem to do.. |
Overreact much?
|
Obviously
|
lol
Yeah, because calling someone names who is talking shit to you online is hella overreacting.. WTF is wrong with you guys sometimes?? |
I don't know, you're all homos.
|
lol Jesus Christ, Krispy. Take your Saints a bit too serious?
|
ESPN just released info on the pills in question..
Quote:

Juicin Deuce McCallister
Cheating scumbag. |
Yeah, cause a diuretic diet pill is steroids..
 |
Hey man, be like the Saints and take a chill pill, I'm just joking. :D
|
I know, it's just a shitty situation.. It wasn't steroids, but it was one of the "gray area" things that happened to be on the banned list.. Thing is, there pills in question were advertised as an "all natural" diuretic, which is pretty much like drinking cranberry juice or vitamin B-12.. The reason they are saying it's used to cover up other drugs is cause it makes you pee.. Meaning you can clean your system out quicker with them, than without.. If that is the reason they are banned, this is super gay..
I don't care what the NFL is saying, this has to be a newest thing cause why else would they all of a sudden find over 10 players using it?? Weird.. |
Yeah, I hate situations like this. I know what you mean. I would be pissed too. Especially since the Saints have had enough injuries as it is.
|
Yeah, that too..
I mean, had this happened week one, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal since Deuce only carried the ball twice the first 4 weeks.. But now, Reggie is hurt so this is a major blow.. No running game, no play action and that's what our offense thrives on.. |

That said, try: |
I post on here to kill time and to entertain myself.. Ignoring someone talking shit accomplishes neither of those..
Posting back to someone who is talking shit isn'y overreacting IMO and is pretty gay to claim otherwise.. :dunno: |
|
|
|
SammyG, what are you doing??
Or trying to do?? I don't get it.. |
Krispy, I love you but you need a chill pill.

Titans RB Chris Johnson fined $10K for celebration
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson has been fined $10,000 for his celebration after a 66-yard touchdown run against the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL said Thursday Johnson was fined for unsportsmanlike conduct for banging on some drums in the Chiefs’ pep band during Sunday’s 34-10 victory. He was penalized 15 yards at the time. “I am not happy about it,” Johnson told The Tennessean newspaper. “I knew I was going to get a fine, but I am totally upset about how much. I am going to appeal. There’s no fun in this league. I was trying to have fun and they want to penalize us for having fun.” ------ Glad to see more players are getting pissed off at the No Fun League. |
Gonna grab a Brees jersey tomorrow
Maybe a couple others, see what the selection is like |
Saints love dat juice! WHO DAT!
|
Why the fuck would you need a diuretic as a football player
|
to mask steroids
|
Its not suprising to see Duece on the list at all. I doubt was trying to get stronger as much as he was probably trying to heal as fast as he could with all the injuries. Wouldnt you wanna heal faster with Bush and Thomas taking your playing time?
|
He has a stipulation in his contract that he has to maintain a certain weight..
None of this will come to fruition BTW.. There were like 15 players failed the same test but the two names that were released were both Saints players.. That report itself violated the NFL steroid policy because it threw confidentiality out the window, and cast judgment on them before the appeals process even began.. RP, why would the "mask" a banned substance with another banned substance?? |
Dunno. Ask Duece.

I feel bad for Rodney, but they aren't really deep back there and you can't pull all your players... shit happens... what's funny is after the game (I was there) there pro shop had John Lynch Pats jerseys for full price... (after they had cut him pre-season they were discounted). Krispy, on Brady... no one really knows, him, his doctor and the pats are saying nothing, these are all 2nd and 3rd hand reports... so it's possible he's fine or it's possible the leg was amputated. the only story going around with a little credit is the Pats are pissed because they wanted him to have surgery here with their doctors but he wanted to be back home for it (closer to his dad? or gisele? dunno) and use a different doctor and if there was a fuck-up the pats are pissed he didn't use their doctor. Part of me says he'll be fine and back next year, part of me says he has a ton of money, 3 rings, mvp's, etc... and a hot girlfriend... hang it up while you can still walk... you see all these old x-players who say life is a chore from the damage of football. |
He is a health nut and would never take anything that jeopardized his career.. I mean, he is a local hero around here and the money he would lose not only form the NFL but from his other local businesses, which have flourished because of how many people love him locally, it would be ridiculous for him to do anything like that..
Sure I am biased cause of how many times I meet him, and being an Ole Miss and Saints fan, but this is like saying the Reggie White beat kittens or something.. I bet he is cleared of all charges.. |
Yah you're right. NFL are a bunch of liars.
|
NFL didn't report it..
A Fox affiliate in Denver did.. |
There is hope, Chris Mortenson is reporting.
|

What crap. The NFL is so fucking retarded. |
Remeber when Eli Manning was suppose to be out 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury. Mort sure nailed that one.

He was playing imaginary bongos..
NFL is pretty gay since Goodell came around.. |
I demand more taunting.
|
NFL is fucking AWESOME since Goodell, IMO Krispy. The league needed a badass commisioner, unlike vanilla Tagliabue.
|
But fining a guy for playing drums after a TD is retarded..

The Rooney Rule is a joke. If theres a black coach thats good enough to be a coach, he'll get his shot. They dont need to make sure atleast 1 gets interviewed. Thats like a TV show hiring backround people and saying " Hey we gotta atleast get 1 black so people dont think we're racist ". Haslett should be coaching the Rams. If he wins 8 games this year with this team ( and possibly makes the playoffs in that horrible division ), are they really gunna go through the motions and make a mockery out of the interview process just to appease the NFL and there stupid Rooney Rule, knowing that Haslett is already gunna be there guy? Give me a fucking break. Thats a joke. What black coach in the NFL is gunna want to interview for that job knowing they dont have a shot in hell and the only reason they're getting interviewed is so the Rams comply with the Rooney Rule?

Giants/Steelers seems to be the big game on the today. With "Who's the better QB from the '04 draft now that they both got rings" in the fine print.
I'll catch half at work and the rest at home. |
49ERS INTERESTED IN CONDOLEEZZA RICE
Posted by Michael David Smith on October 26, 2008, 10:14 a.m. EDT Bush administration officials will be looking for new jobs soon, and there’s another report out today that one of them could be headed to the NFL. Adam Schefter reported on NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning that the San Francisco 49ers want to talk to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice about a high-level position within the organization. Per Schefter, the 49ers’ ownership believes that Rice would make a great team president and that she would be likely to help them get financing for the new stadium they want. Rice was already planning to return to the Bay Area when her work in Washington is finished. She previously served as provost at Stanford. Rice has also been mentioned as a potential candidate to become either the commissioner of the NFL or the head of the players’ union. wtffffffffffffffffff lol |
Plaxico Burress is a piece of shit. He's not starting today for violating yet another team rule. Now that he's got his nice big contract he no longer gives a fuck.
|
Can someone sack Brad Johnson and injure his ass?
I'd prefer Brook Bollinger over this piece of shit. |

No...just...no. I have a friend who's a niners fanatic, and he hates Rice. He'd be majorly pissed. |

Yeah Jets got away with interference there. Enjoy your tainted victory. :foc:

Falcons just got mad screwed on yet another questionable ref call.
|
FUCK!
|
Wow, I don't really ever complain about officiating, but how the Pats can get NO penalties is RIDICULOUS. 0 Penalties? Give me a fucking break, there's like a hold on every play in football basically.
|
Just ask Raider fans
|
The Bills go down to the Dolphins.........
Who saw that one coming? |
Wow I feel like if I hear this guy say Mewelde "MOOWER" one more time I am gonna flip out, even if his name is really pronounced like that.
|
He said it literally 8 times since I posted that...
|
This Giants/Steelers game is gonna go right down to the last possession, I can already tell even at halftime. That call on Kenny Phillips was bullshit but at least it didn't hurt in the long run.

That call on Phillips was horse shit.
