Cool... this seems like the best possible scenario I think
Cool @ rebranding |
I like the re-branding idea...I will give Billy Corgan's show a shot!

"Rat in a cage" match for the heavyweight championship...

Tna it's OVAH!
Best suitatuion possible. Corgan is in and Dixie out. New company without tna stink. WWE picks up whoever Corgan cannot afford. |

Song title rope match
|
Pretty much a win-win for everyone involved.
Dixie gets paid, Corgan gets rid of TNA's biggest problem for years, and WWE beefs up their tape library. If Corgan can keep all the tv deals TNA has with the new company, he has a better chance of succeeding unlike when Jeff Jarrett tried to start GFW. |
I think Billy Corgan looks like Droford IMO
|
Does a rebranded company under Corgan's leadership stand a chance of getting Heyman/JR onboard, or even as a consultant?

Keep wondering what Droford is doing in the Impact Zone |
Billy Corgan is a beautiful man

So is Droford
|
I know
|
Reminds me of Curb Your Enthusiasm when that lady kept saying that Larry was a spitting image of her dead husband but then he was just a completely different looking bald guy and he was like "not all bald people look alike..."

check out....1979

I guess this really is the best possible scenario for pretty much all parties.
|
Has anyone actually reported this?

Personally I find it hillarious people bashed TNA for 15 years and now everyone's excited to watch TNA on the WWE network after TNA is dead
No sense |

I like this. Not sure what the new company will be but I had a feeling Corgan wanted to change the company name when the Impact Grand Championship didn't have TNA on it. Impact Wrestling wouldnt be bad but if he's going to rebrand he might as well get as far away from anything TNA related.
TNA is a stupid name and I dont know how it lasted this long especially with a female owner. Hell Nonstop Wrestling Action sounds a lot better and would have tied them to NWA more but TNA. I'm excited to see what Billy does and if he can make money. I feel Vince is getting soft though. Letting Corgan take everything and rebrand it doesn't sound like Vince McMahon at all. I don't know but this might be just what wrestling needs is something fresh and WWE helping other promotions as long as they can have something for the Network. |
WWE probably now owns the Impact Wrestling name so doubt that would even be an option for Corgan. Or at least they probably will once everything becomes official.
Also doubt WWE even cared about helping TNA with this deal since the sheets teased WWE only cared about the tape library and their offer being really low. It probably comes nowhere close to helping out the debt and money issues Corgan and/or Dixie are dealing with. |
Probably not the debt but it probably could cover a few tapings.
|
It's not like there is any competition for the tapes.
|
US Army could use them for enhanced interrogation.
|
Haven't seen anything from anyone reporting this. Someone asked Meltzer about it and he said they were jumping the gun.
|
Meltzer sheep,,,,,,,,,
|
But for real, it is all jumping the gun until official announcements are made......

I'd go back and watch TNA from the beginning on the Network if it ever became an option.

Gotta watch midgets cranking it in trashcans
|
Or midgets pulling a gun on people in the ring
|
Right, you get it.
