Speaking of ladder matches, I personally could use a long break from them.

The tag team battle royal was prob my favorite match on the show tbh... almost everything else was kinda disappointing :-(

Main event was cool but the Good Brothers shit sucked dick and of course the "explosions"...

Sting match was pretty good also

Ring explosion looked familiar...

Was the ending to the main event a letdown? Sure.

Did I let the ending fuck everything that happened before it? Nope.

Still a more than solid PPV.

I can’t complain.

They need to have Eddie sell the fuck out of it. Have him in a full body cast in the hospital on wednesday

I missed the tag title match and street fight match unfortunately. However, barring the botched ending, overall I thought the show was really good.

The tag battle royal was fun and Death Triangle v The Bucks will be a really fun match.

I'm glad Scorpio Sky is going to be getting a another title shot. I think he's got a ton of upside and he needs to be featured more.

Shida had her best match. We are going to get some direction on the Inner Circle. And when tho he didn't deserve anywhere near that kind of hype, I'm interested in what they're gonna do with Christian. Plus, maybe Eddie gets a babyface push for a title match in the next month.

Even with the botched ending and over hyping of Christian, I'm still into the company and want to see what's next.

PPV was really good. Fun. That explosion ending was soooo bad though. What can you do? Things happen.

According to Tony Khan during the post-show media scrum, the Kenny Omega sucks at building explody stuff is the storyline they are going towards to retcon tonight's lame show closing ending.

Shame. Having it be a rib and Kingston passing out from panic attack is a better idea.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kingston gives a promo on Wednesday's show explaining how he passed out in panic since there really isn't any other way around the issue of him acting like he was TKOed from the failed big explosions spot.

Need to salvage something meaningful from that big moment of him coming to Moxley's aid and risking his own life to save Moxley from further harm.

If anybody can save it on the mic, it’s him.

He sort of reminds me of Enzo Amore in regards to how Enzo rarely missed when it came to delivering promos and keeping his routine and material fresh. yeah they needed more smoke we wanted the smoke.

When they first announced the big explosion time limit, was thinking of something like that but on a smaller scale.

AEW's big explosion finale needed a lot more smoke than what it actually got. Like something similar to what happened at last year's All Out show and the pyro causing a very smokey and hazy look for the entrance area during the Casino Battle Royale match.

Also in 1993, ECW tried a "Body Count" Match where wrestlers had their teams locked in cages and the loser's team would be blown up, but it also was a dud...

“Well Paul did not get approval to use special effects fireworks, so instead when the match ended, I was the one to be blown up. There was no cage but just one side of it. So when it was time for the explosion, Paul just had some kind of paper lit up to create a bunch of smoke and the most ridiculous thing he used a recording a sound of an explosion.”

As you could imagine, the ridiculousness of that sight of smoke and a sound effect of an explosion riled up the rabid 800 fans in attendance. The crowd immediately crapped on the finish and started chanting in unison…”Money back! Money back!” Diamond added, “I had to pretend to be blown up from a sound recording! It was horrible and most embarrassing situation I was ever involved in.”

The Body Count match result was so bad and so embarrassing, there were some rumblings that Heyman was fearful that his job as ECW booker would be removed by owner Tod Gordon. Ultimately, cooler heads prevailed and the match, which was heavily advertised on TV, never aired. When recalling the match, Joey Styles, who called the action, could only laugh and say: “It went over like a fart in church.”

The Body Count match was never used again, nor was it even allowed to ever be mentioned on ECW television. From all accounts, the match is probably buried somewhere in WWE’s vast video vaults. You may even consider this match the “Holy Grail” of ECW matches.

The ending was a hilarious all-time botch but I liked the ppv. Street Fight, Main-Event (minus ending), Ladder Match and Battle Royal were all really fun.

How they handle Christian and the fallout from the show closing on a huge dud is going to determine if they suffer badly afterwards from the very high expectations this show had.
