Evil Vito 09-23-2016 08:28 AM

That....was most unexpected. Jumped out of bed at the AssMan HR/bat flip lol.

It's the first game they've won all year trailing after 8 innings so nobody could have seen that coming.

Evil Vito 09-23-2016 08:28 AM

I will happily eat crow/shit/whatever and be proven wrong time and time again if they can actually win games like that with regularity.

Damian Rey 2.0 09-23-2016 09:40 AM

You should just soak it all in Vito. The excitement of it all. Your team is in the thick of a playoff hunt despite 3/4 of its infield and 3/5 of its rotation being of the shelf.

Ruien 09-23-2016 05:08 PM

Vito is the complete opposite of Droford.

Mark Trumbo won't be back
They wont sign a big name pitcher

Ruien 09-23-2016 09:39 PM

Damn. Tonight is not going well for the Os with them probably losing and Tigers/Blue Jays probably going to win.

Droford 09-23-2016 09:58 PM

You were saying. Hmmm?

Ruien 09-23-2016 10:07 PM

Os were probably going to lose. Don't get to cocky before you win. Plus, Jays/Tigers are still going to win.

RP 09-23-2016 10:07 PM

Vito, I understand your team isnt meeting expectations but you're in the thick of a playoff race and your team just played one of the best games of the year last night. How do you go to bed on that?

Droford 09-23-2016 10:16 PM

They would have won (it's now tied in extras) off the fucking idiots in New York doing replay weren't blind as bats

Not only was their catcher completely blocking the plate but he tagged him with an empty glove..he had the ball in his hand

screech 09-23-2016 10:45 PM

He had the ball before he stepped in front of the plate. Hardy had a path before the ball got there.

RP 09-23-2016 10:57 PM

I just wanna say... It's an amazing feeling not having to worry about whether my team will get in or not.

Trumbo #44 walk off

Still just .5 back

Damian Rey 2.0 09-24-2016 12:05 AM

The greatest hitter that ever lived.

RP 09-24-2016 12:05 AM

TRUMBO IS A GREEK GOD

Droford 09-24-2016 12:40 AM

Orioles are 1.5 back of Toronto and .5 back of Detroit. Detroit has 4 with Cleveland next week and the Orioles play Toronto for 3. Houston and Seattle are right behind the Orioles but They play each other 3 games starting Monday which Will knock one or the other out.

Not the least bit worried the Os won't get the Wild Card game..

Damian Rey 2.0 09-24-2016 01:43 AM

Of course not. You were saying you thought they could take the division earlier this week.

Ruien 09-24-2016 07:31 AM

No. He knew they would take 3 of 4 from Boston. He didn't think.

Damian Rey 2.0 09-24-2016 08:14 AM

Pardon my ignorance.

Droford 09-24-2016 11:11 AM

I think they should definitely retaliate by showing that time Ortiz walked off vs the Orioles in the ALCs and win the series MVP..oh wait..

Ol Dirty Dastard 09-24-2016 11:12 AM

Baltimore won last night guys. Miracle Mets have nothing on them.

Droford 09-24-2016 11:22 AM

Ruien 09-24-2016 11:32 AM

Isn't a huge story right now that no one is bothering to go to the O's games even though they were in 1st place and are currently in the thick of a playoff race? I guess the casual fans are scared to find themselves sitting near Droford.

Droford 09-24-2016 11:36 AM

Let's not forget the Os were predicted by all the so called experts to finish 4th with about 75 wins and here they sit 83-71 1.5 gb of Toronto for 2nd with 8 games to play 3 of which are vs the Jays.

Also it'll be cool if the Orioles win the Wild Card and play Boston because despite the asskickings in Baltimore the Orioles were 6-3 in Boston winning all 3 series in Boston.
Mookie Betts didn't hit home runs (only 1 vs 8 in Baltimore) vs Baltimore in Boston lol

What does that have to do with this?

DaveWadding 09-24-2016 03:16 PM

The new issue of ESPN the Magazine is called the Cubs Issue and has Rizzo on the cover. Going to throw up. The Curse is Real.

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-24-2016 07:19 PM

Maybe if it was SI. ESPN the Magazine would only give them a minor rash.

DaveWadding 09-24-2016 08:26 PM

Nothing in my life gives me more anxiety than the idea that the Cubs are "favored" to win the World Series....going to be a total disaster. Going to throw up now.......

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-24-2016 08:28 PM

PEDRIOA THE DESTROYAH!

RP 09-24-2016 08:30 PM

Someone call Vito. Make sure he's ok.

The Orioles arent drawing very well despite playing well at home. I'll contend that even though they say they have some of the most affordable tickets in baseball the fact is I tried to buy tickets directly from them for tonight's game and they tack on $10 in fees for a $30 ticket which is just silly.
I don't think there's anything to it about the riots in baltimore. The stadium complex with M&T is in a nice area...

He's at a wedding today. I'm pretty sure he's balls deep in a bridesmaid right now. He'll be fine.

Honestly, why would you want to pay to watch the Diamondbacks play baseball? You're better off lighting that $40 on fire.

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-24-2016 08:37 PM

Went to a Wedding in CT once. It was in the woods full of Yankee fans. Open bar though so it wasn't all bad.

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-24-2016 09:17 PM

Baltimore going to get back into the .5 lead with 6-0 lead right now with the Tigers falling earlier.

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-24-2016 09:21 PM

3

22-4 for Porcello.

Emperor Smeat 09-24-2016 10:18 PM

:D 10 in a row for the Sox.

It was Hooded sweatshirt night..not that it would have got me though. And Wade Miley went 8 2/3 1 run 11k which would have been impressive to see as well as Trey Mancinis 3rd homer in 3 games
