Scully said he's done once the regular season is over. FOX and others have tried to persuade him to call playoff games but he declined the offers.

3 AM boat crash. He was scheduled to start today but the Marlins moved him to Monday.

Obviously nobody could have ever known this would happen but if they didn't move his start he never would have been out at 3 AM right before a start. So tragic. I dreaded every time the Mets would face him because he was so talented.

Terrible, terrible loss for the game of baseball.
