Ravens getting owned by an out of shape, retired player. lol

Droford 11-02-2014 10:41 PM

Steve Smith won't endeer himself much talking to the steelers like that..

Droford 11-02-2014 10:43 PM

He wasn't even near his knees

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-02-2014 10:44 PM

Chop block by rule is a penalty on an offensive player..so no

Ravens abandoned the run = recipe for disaster

Ruien 11-02-2014 11:00 PM

I agree. Forsett needs more carries. And I need to trade him in FF for a different RB because he has a BYE on the same week as Murray.

#1-norm-fan 11-02-2014 11:04 PM

Ravens not being able to block that out of shape retired guy all game = recipe for disaster

Ruien 11-02-2014 11:06 PM

Going to laugh so hard if Baltimore falls in last place behind those terrible Cleveland Browns (That Cin was only about because of a tie).

They might have to give Ray Rice his job back and pay him for the time lost. Might as well try to use him.

#1-norm-fan 11-02-2014 11:12 PM

Not tackling Antonio Brown = Recipe for disaster

Droford 11-02-2014 11:15 PM

Well Jacoby Jones just saved the game

#1-norm-fan 11-02-2014 11:17 PM

Keeping Joe Flacco off the field. Good strategy.

Droford 11-02-2014 11:20 PM

Brown shoves off on Webb no call

Droford 11-02-2014 11:23 PM

Stupid challenge, refs won't be able to see anything "definitive"

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-02-2014 11:24 PM

One of the hardest calls to reverse. I'd rather have the time-out.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-02-2014 11:25 PM

If they don't see anything definitive they should return the time-out and say "sorry bro."

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-02-2014 11:28 PM

Nice-push Brown. smh

Droford 11-02-2014 11:29 PM

No call again on brown. Pft

#1-norm-fan 11-02-2014 11:32 PM

Refs totally missing the "illegally completing a pass in the end zone while not playing for the Ravens" penalty there. UGH

Droford 11-02-2014 11:36 PM

The good news is no way in hell Metzenberger (sp? Dont really care) throws for 5 TDs next week. And then they have a bye..

Droford 11-02-2014 11:42 PM

A spark of hope maybe

Droford 11-02-2014 11:49 PM

Yeah, call that pi from the 2 down 19 with 2 minutes to go

8-2 going into the Thanksgiving weekend matchup with the Chargers which is the toughest game left as they finish up with the Dolphins, Jaguars, Texans and Browns. I see no less than 12-4..

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-02-2014 11:52 PM

#1-norm-fan 11-03-2014 12:00 AM

6 TD passes lol

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-03-2014 12:02 AM

Knew the refs were full of shit when they went to the sidelines. They weren't going to throw anybody out.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-03-2014 12:05 AM

Just take a fucking knee already.

Corndad 11-03-2014 12:08 AM

Ben with 2 6 TD games in a row. Wow.

Also Suggs is pretty much a joke now. Did he even record a tackle tonight?

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-03-2014 12:08 AM

Wow Ravens took a timeout? Jesus christ.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-03-2014 12:09 AM

What an asshole.

#1-norm-fan 11-03-2014 12:23 AM

Nick Foles out for at least a month. The Mark Sanchez era in Philly begins...

Nark Order 11-03-2014 12:24 AM

Suggs is probably the most legendary shit talker of all time.

Droford 11-03-2014 12:25 AM

Most frustrating thing for me is I counted at least 3 times Brown pushed off, including once that was almost a carbon copy of last weeks call on Steve Smith and no flags. It'd be one thing if they didn't call it on Steve Smith and no calls tonight, but its fucking annoying when there's no consistency on the calls.

Already picked up in my 2 QB league.

Nark Order 11-03-2014 12:30 AM

Most likely everyone is going to be like "oh no. Get ready for Captain Buttfumble" and they'll joke on him hardcore while he fucking destroys everybody. Mark Sanchez can be extremely good at times. Just like "lol Romo" everytime he plays a game and he carves everybody up.

Droford 11-03-2014 12:30 AM

Mark Sanchez winning in philly is just more salt being rubbed in the Jets wounds

Emperor Smeat 11-03-2014 01:17 AM

To be fair, Sanchez did throw 2 INTs and both lead to Texans points but wouldn't be surprised if he does play well while Foles is out. Philly's system and QB developing is a lot better than the Jets and their mess.

Clerk 11-03-2014 07:30 AM

The Browns were the 3rd best rushing team when Tate was injured now that he's back getting the majority of carries there like 26th or something. Ben Tate sucks.

Anyway the Browns have 8 games left 4 of them are should wins and the other 4 are against (Bengals x2, Colts and Wins) If they could win the 4 should wins and take 1 or 2 from the other 4 I think they could pull out a wild card spot.

I get the general sentiment, but Romo is a much better quarterback than Mark Sanchez.

(I'm sure you're also aware of this and just drawing a parallel, but making sure we don't start talking crazy)

Clerk 11-03-2014 10:47 AM

Does anyone think the browns will make the playoffs?

Ruien 11-03-2014 12:54 PM

Jets fans raise over 10,000 dollars in 5 days for a billboard to urge the owner to fire the GM.

McLegend 11-03-2014 08:11 PM

Sanchez at one point was good so it can't be that bad.

Innovator 11-03-2014 09:35 PM

Anyone want to catch the ball?

Innovator 11-03-2014 10:26 PM

Terrible game.

Innovator 11-04-2014 07:05 AM

And it looks like Prince tore his bicep

Evil Vito 11-04-2014 08:34 AM

Ugh. I know with their schedule it probably wasn't realistic anyway, but with Sanchez now at QB for the Eagles and Romo one sack away from Dallas needing to roll with Brandon Weeden, there was a chance there for the Giants to cash in.

They'll probably need to go 7-1 the rest of the way to make the playoffs. Yeah...no.

It's all good, they're due to win it all next year. I'll take the 4-year plan.

Nark Order 11-04-2014 11:42 AM

Put up or shut up for the Browns this week.

49ers are in such bad shape right now. The end of that game was weird and I thought Crabtree was in for the touchdown but you can't expect to win a game where the o-line gives up 8 sacks. If we won that, it would've been in spite of ourselves. Such sloppy awful offense the entire game. If we don't beat the Saints, we're done.

Nark Order 11-04-2014 11:42 AM

Yes. We. Fuck off.

road doggy dogg 11-04-2014 11:49 AM

Hate people who get irrationally upset when people refer to their home/favourite team as "we". No, nobody who says "we won this week!" actually thinks they are part of the team. They are simply associating themselves as a fan and it's way simpler to say "we" than "the Lions" or whatever, mad less syllables. Eat a dick, haters

Nark Order 11-04-2014 11:54 AM

Some older guy the other day was like "Oh, what position do you play?" and I wanted to punch him in his stupid old face. It is quite obvious that I am not under the delusion that I play strong safety for the San Francisco 49ers. I am invested in the team and feel like I'm apart of the fanbase that helps feul the organization. "We" doesn't seem inappropriate.

Ruien 11-04-2014 12:53 PM

It's a tossup right now in a discussion I'm having with myself. I was asking me what two teams in the NFL suffered the biggest fall from grace. I thought of the Falcons and Panthers suffering hits, but like Seattle was lagging a bit for awhile and they are the champs. I just remember Atlanta and Carolina having good squads the last few years and with Tony Gonzalez and stuff gone the Falcons have seemed to get pissed on. Plus Roddy White ain't getting any younger.

London is getting 3 NFL games next year.

road doggy dogg 11-06-2014 03:17 PM

Yeah 90p sure I'm gonna go to Lions game next year there

#1-norm-fan 11-06-2014 04:58 PM

I don't know how I feel about a divisional game going to London.

Let's face it, the fans there are mainly just happy about getting some live football. They'll take any game they get. Why deprive Miami fans of their traditional half of the Jets-Dolphins series?

owenbrown 11-06-2014 05:59 PM

is the NFL TRYING to piss off the Brits with these shitty games?

Evil Vito 11-06-2014 06:45 PM

Apparently the CBA doesn't allow the league to force teams to give up a home game to go to London...so instead the league pretty much told them that any teams who want to be considered for future Super Bowls had better give up a home game to London at some point.

Miami of course wants to host more, as would Jacksonville who nobody goes to watch anyways. KC have a great home field advantage but the city has been adamant about trying to land a Super Bowl.

Droford 11-06-2014 06:56 PM

Baltimore has a clause in the stadium lease that doesn't allow home games being played outside of the state of Maryland. But its not like Baltimore has a snowballs chance in hell to host a Super Bowl so it doesn't matter.

Also found it funny RG3 was in my town today eating at Olive Garden.

Ruien 11-06-2014 07:51 PM

I would assume most places have contracts like that. These would be exceptions that all parties would agree with.

Droford 11-06-2014 08:57 PM

Andy Dalton isn't a fan of the no passes from beyond the line of scrimmage rule.

Droford 11-06-2014 10:08 PM

Bengals have 3 straight road games and by the grace of the schedule Makers they might go 1-2 cause of the game in Tampa in 3 weeks.

#1-norm-fan 11-07-2014 12:10 AM

Oh. So the Browns are not fucking around apparently.

Ruien 11-07-2014 12:34 AM

Ruien 11-07-2014 08:45 AM

Evil Vito 11-07-2014 08:57 AM

Would feel like such a bizarro world if the Browns AND Bills both made the playoffs in the same year.

Probably won't happen though. I do think 2 teams are coming out of the AFC North but I'm not sure I can see a second East team making it in, the Chiefs are playing really well right now and if the Chargers can get themselves together they'll be in the mix too.

Crippla 11-07-2014 09:01 AM

I doubt the Bills or any team in the AFC East other than the Pats will make the playoff but that would be strange

Browns win WOO

screech 11-07-2014 09:22 AM

Baltimore still has a shot, but the CB issues will be tough to overcome. Offense, for the most part, has been better than in years' past. I don't see a division title, but a wildcard is possible.

Browns look legit right now, and Gordon is due back next week (or is it the week after?) so they'll get a boost for sure.

I'm not totally sold on CIN, but they always seem to hang around, plus they're 2-1 in the division.

And then the Steelers. Their offense has been fantastic (ugh) and their defense is good more often than not (ugh). They will probably win the division. I need to scrub myself now.

Division title could come down to the final week. This AFC North report was brought to you by SURGE. And THE DEMON KANE

road doggy dogg 11-07-2014 09:24 AM
