Back down? Boozer was on the floor when it started.

yeah, but after Boozer got in Pau's face, what was Pau supposed to do?

They are

They aren't trying to overcome being associated with being accused of rape/cheating on their wives though, that was my point. Ever since the "Denver Incident" you've seen an increase in Kobe "the family man" - it's good marketing.

Jason Kidd was great at this as well, blowing kiss every time at the foul line for his son after the whole "domestic abuse" incident.

Not start an issue by standing over a guy when he's laying on the ground, that's my point. I don't care about what happens after.

NBA is dumb when it comes to this kind of thing anyway, nothing ever happens.

Joumana Kidd was full of shit anyways. Can't believe the Suns made that fuckin panic trade.

But really I say something its because I have an opinion behind it. I'm not one of those idiots who just says stuff just to say something (aka RP). So yeah I am going to have an answer.

Yeah but the damage was done. After that it was all kisses and alien head Jason Kidd Jr all over the screen

True, but it still directly led to the Stephon Marbury Phoenix Suns. Made me want to puke on a nightly basis.

Is he the best PG in the league? No, is he one of the best? I think so. He doesn't have a jump shot but Steve Nash doesn't play defense, so obviously you can have serious weaknesses and still be considered one of the tops at a position.

lol @ SammyG claiming that because he played point guard in high school that makes him authority of the subject of point guards though; can't believe nobody touched on that yet.

I wasn't saying he wasn't good, I just thought SammyG was retareded to calling him the best.

SammyG 05-05-2010 04:14 AM

Yeah, I was retareded, whatever that means

Anyway. Ron Artest is 7-42 from downtown in this postseason. That is gonna end up costing us in the Finals or something, he NEEDS to do something about it. There will always be one open shooter when we move the ball so well, and Ron has GOT to step up, shit.

Now, enjoy Adam Morrison.

SammyG 05-06-2010 01:59 PM

Suns kinda scare me. WCF might go 7.

alvarado52 05-06-2010 04:19 PM

Nah...other than Nash, i dont see us having much for matchup problems.

Nark Order 05-06-2010 11:49 PM

Skippord 05-07-2010 09:47 PM

who pissed the Cavs off?

Nark Order 05-07-2010 09:59 PM

Wow, Cavs dominate.

Emperor Smeat 05-07-2010 10:12 PM

Meh not shocked since the Cs tend to give the Cavs a 20+ point lead when they play against each other more times than should be possible. Celtics didn't even bother to play with any motivation and got "lazy".

ESPN is annoying though since now focus went from Lebron's elbow injury being serious (Cavs loss) to not even worrying about it becoming an issue (Cavs win).

Bad enough the Celtics got demolished, but they had to lose to the Cavs while they wore their make believe throw-back uniforms (old design with current colors, the fuck is that?)

Yeah I know they created some story to cover up the fact they want to sell more LeBron jerseys

DaveWadding 05-08-2010 06:01 PM

Goran Dragic was feeling it in Game 3. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, his 26 points in 17 minutes of action were the most points scored by a player who played fewer than 20 minutes in a postseason game in the shot-clock era.

Juan 05-08-2010 08:55 PM

Not surprised at this start by the Jazz.

Loose Cannon 05-08-2010 09:00 PM

did games air on EPSN last year? I thought all the games aired on TNT, hence the 40 games/40 nights thing.

Juan 05-08-2010 09:03 PM

ESPN and TNT used to switch each year. One would air the Eastern Conf. game and the other the West. Looks like they've been splitting the games this year

Loose Cannon 05-08-2010 09:07 PM

Ah ok. yea, I recall last year watching like 3 games a night sometimes on TNT during the 1st round. that was pretty cool cause I never had to change the channel

Juan 05-08-2010 11:17 PM

alvarado52 05-08-2010 11:18 PM

I dunno who made the decision to foul...that was stupid. If youre up by three, the worst that can happen (barring a small miracle) is a tie. Play that shit out.

SammyG 05-09-2010 06:18 PM

Rajon Rondo= best PG in the league.

OssMan 05-09-2010 06:29 PM

Lerbon is the best player in the league

RoXer 05-09-2010 07:47 PM

How does a PG get 18 rebounds?

RoXer 05-09-2010 10:00 PM

Mothe fucking hate San Antonio

RoXer 05-09-2010 10:02 PM

If Nash even trips over his shoelaces and bleeds, it will make me hate San Antonio even more.

I know the elbow wasn't intentional. I don't give a fuck. We need put a Spur on his back.

McLegend 05-09-2010 10:19 PM

Steve Nash is so tough.

DaveWadding 05-09-2010 10:48 PM

Ginobili singlehandedly lost that game by trying draw a foul on the 3. If he yould have just taken the shot, it was probably good.

McLegend 05-09-2010 11:05 PM

Steve Nash was amazing.

Juan 05-09-2010 11:11 PM

Ecstatic about this. Feels awful rooting for the C's, but still. Hopefully Boston closes this out at home, and all the people preaching the greatness of LBJ and how the Cavs will win the title this year shut the hell up

Dragon 05-11-2010 11:51 PM

Can't believe as a Knicks fan I've been rooting for the Celtics this series but I have. Only thing to root for is hoping it makes it easier for LeBron to leave Cleveland if they get knocked out again this year.

Just read an article that was saying the Knicks have had a guy on their staff for the past two years who's sole job is to make LeBron want to come to NY in the summer.

Gonna be so disappointing when he doesn't come here.

Why would they shut the hell up? If the Cavs lose then people will still sing the praise of Lebron because he's currently the best basketball player alive.

Also, people had every right to think the Cavs would win the Championship this year, given their record. If they don't win, it will be an upset.

Nark Order 05-12-2010 12:03 AM

It comes down to match-ups. Mo Williams is fucking his team over hard because he can't play with Rondo. Rondo is smashing him up hard everywhere.

SammyG 05-12-2010 12:20 AM

Shut the hell up because i have heard nothing but kobe and laker hate.... LeBron is so much better than Kobe. blah blah blah

Phoenix has as much chance as winning the WCF as the Diamondbacks bullpen being decent.

The Suns will beat the Lakers. Just saying.

Nark Order 05-12-2010 02:17 AM

What? Lebron being better than Kobe isn't really THAT debatable. You can look at simple stat cards and it would be pretty one sided. I guess you can't argue with championships but he didn't really do it alone.

Juan 05-12-2010 02:22 AM

Who does?

In most all the years Kobe won a championship with the Lakers, he had an All-Star team backing him up. The Cavs right now consists of one extremely good player and a bunch of average players working together perfectly.

Kobe is an extremely good player but it seems you could put Lebron on just about any team and they are instantly playoff capable.

Exactly. If Lebron's team mates don't step up and help him win a title, they'll keep floundering in the post season. No one wins a championship alone.

Nark Order 05-12-2010 02:42 AM

Agreed.

I say send Lebron to a team that will actually take advantage of him and that will use him to win championships. That's just me though. Cavs still have a chance, but it's all they have. There are many teams that would be pretty much guaranteed a championship with Lebron on the squad.

SaskatchewanChamp 05-12-2010 02:46 AM

James, in the first quarter of tonight's game, had 0 points, and 4 assists. Now I don't know much about basketball and quite frankly, I hate the game. However, I caught a little bit of that first quarter and to me, your best player has to be your best player. Lebron's game is not playing the "dish master" but it is to take games over, and win them, by himself if necessary. Im not sure how he did in the other quarters and do not care to look but the score kind of says it all.
