take away brady getting hurt, don't think Chiefs + 15 & 1/2 was a lock... especially what that offense did last year...

I thought Atl +3 at home vs. the Lions was a lock... made me a few bucks... nothing big.

Fucking Bion beating me to it

SammyG 09-08-2008 03:47 PM

Bills are mad good.

Nervous Ferret 09-08-2008 09:18 PM

There is no such thing as a lock.

DrA 09-09-2008 12:14 AM

I never said a Shoe-In was a lock.

DrA 09-09-2008 02:05 AM

I never said a Lock was a Shoe-In.

Loose Cannon 09-09-2008 02:06 AM

these Raider fans with the scary looking Halloween masks are hillarious because now they are all depressed, but still wearing these ridiculous masks and custumes. it's like you can tell these sorry people have been preparing for this game since Sept 2007 and here are their Raiders down 41-7.

Skippord 09-09-2008 02:24 AM

I know it was the Raiders but Eddie Fucking Royal!

SammyG 09-09-2008 02:54 AM

Yeah, that game was painful to watch. The Rams can beat the Raiders by 14 at least, I am confident in that, too bad we don't play em.

We get the GIANTS next week instead. Awesome.

Favre got lucky, those bullshit blind tossups wont work every game.

Bill vs Jets for the AFC east.

Dunno, wouldn't count the Pats out so easily. With all the depth on that team, they're still favorite even without Brady. Only difference now, is that the Bills and Jets have a greater chance at the upset.

And lets settle down a bit on Seattle. They were missing three key players, and a fourth went down mid game.

Line sucks dude. Pace is getting old. the interior of the line is even worse. Barron is fine, but I really wanted Jake Long. Long + Barron would have =ed ratings.

DaveWadding 09-09-2008 04:36 AM

Also, LOL Faiders

Mr. Monday Morning 09-09-2008 05:45 AM

HOW BOUT THAT DEANGELO HALL

VonErichLives 09-09-2008 10:31 AM

just think... if Favre was patient he could have been in a Patriot uniform now... and finally gotten his wish to throw to Randy Moss...

DrA 09-09-2008 01:16 PM

Not necessarily. If that were to have happened then it would have changed the direction of many specific universal implications, meaning that Tom Brady may not have gotten hurt at all.

Paging Mr. Young.

ClockShot 09-09-2008 08:01 PM

And Lights Out is out for the season.

Kris P Lettus 09-09-2008 08:05 PM

He should have not played sunday..

Saints insiders are saying Colston tore a ligament in his hand.. Might be out for up to 4 weeks..

:(

SammyG 09-09-2008 10:51 PM

lol Merriman, douchebag.

hence why I said "could" not "would"...

in fairness Belicheck seems to have something for Cassell... plus he's learned this system for 2yrs... (I forget if this is year 2 or 3 for him)...

we'll find out....

If they bring anyone in, I honestly think it will be Vinny T, yeah, he's old... but he's worked with Belicheck before and he would be a good vet presence to help Cassell... and if needed to play has a better arm then Simms or Rattay or "I retired a week to soon" Culpepper.

VonErichLives 09-09-2008 11:36 PM

the pats DB's worry me more then the play of Cassell to be honest...

McLegend 09-10-2008 01:58 AM

I really want to be exicted about the Eagles/Rams game on Sunday, but it was against the Rams.

So I have to hold back.

McLegend 09-10-2008 01:59 AM

But it was still fuckin great.

SammyG 09-10-2008 04:55 AM

Stop it.

Mr. Monday Morning 09-10-2008 08:39 AM

If it makes you feel any better Sammy the Seahawks looked like turd as well, so the Rams might actually have a chance to beat them.

Of course at this point you're all behind the mighty Cardinals (lol)

VonErichLives 09-10-2008 12:16 PM

so, they didn't work out Simms or Rattay, both were in monday but neither worked out.

interesting that apperently they set-up these meetings on Saturday....

that aside, they just signed Rickey Guetierez to the practice squad.

:([/QUOTE

Hasn't been confirmed by the Saints official injury report but yeah, he's supposed to miss 4-6 weeks..

:(

Kris P Lettus 09-10-2008 01:04 PM

Vince Young is gonna pull a Rampage Jackson..

FearedSanctity 09-10-2008 01:14 PM

These ridiculous amount of injuries will help the Broncos a lot leading up to their bye, starting this Sunday:

San Diego
New Orleans
Kansas City
Tampa Bay
Jacksonville
New England

Kris P Lettus 09-10-2008 01:29 PM

Broncos are def gonna lose week 3..

FYI

FearedSanctity 09-10-2008 01:34 PM

I don't care if they lose week 3, so long as they win week 2 and 4. Beating NE would be nice too, so I don't have to hear about it from my mom

Kris P Lettus 09-10-2008 01:35 PM

lol Your mom is a Pats fan??

FearedSanctity 09-10-2008 01:42 PM

Yep, she was born and raised in Rhode Island. When the Red Sox swept the Rockies, oh yes did I hear about it. Anytime the Pats win a game, make the playoffs, make it to a Super Bowl, win a Super Bowl, I hear about it. She says she loves both the Broncos and the Patriots, but the Patriots will always come first

ClockShot 09-10-2008 06:44 PM

Add 49ers QB Alex Smith to the growing list of those out for the season.

Kris P Lettus 09-11-2008 02:33 AM

Did he take a snap on Sunday??

CSL 09-11-2008 03:03 AM

He did it 'attempting a long pass @ practice' or something

Kris P Lettus 09-11-2008 03:07 AM

lol

or just muzzle his mother...

word is he's fine, and this is all his mother over-reacting and not knowing to keep her mouth shut when someone puts a mic in front of her.
