Im not complaining per se. I just wouldve preferred a new Logan. Im sure I'll love the film as long as disney doesnt take a pass at the script
|
Nah, what you said is legit. It's just me complaining about the MCU when they introduce time manipulation. Turns into "Who's Line" where nothing matters and everyone gets to jerk off to their favorite super hero coming back.
By the way, Thanos' plan was dumb anyway. Big purple fucking idiot. |
I dont mind time travel/alt version/whatever. Its comics. Ya know? As long as its handled well im fine with it... now take Fox's X-Men timeline... oof
|
I have my doubts that Jackman will be Wolverine in the MCU, and that it won't just be multiverse shenanigans that allow him to appear one more time.
Though I agree, Logan was the perfect end to playing the character. Shame to mess that up. But when Disney walks up with a wheelbarrow full of money to your door I get it... |
Oh im certain that this is a multiverse plot
|
Im just eager to start the new x-men push
|
On one hand, I agree with Destor that I'm ready for them to move on to the mcu version of wolverine. On the other hand a team up with a new wolverine wouldn't be any where near as entertaining, given the history.

I'm in the camp of leaving poor Hugh Jackman alone, just like how I didn't care for Patrick Stewart showing up in Multiverse of Madness. Logan was a great way to send off the character. I actually don't know if I want to see this film now.

Armor Wars is now going to be a feature film instead of a Disney+ series. Glad that they could pivot like that and instead of trying to stretch out a series just accepting that the story they have was better in a movie....

Aside from wanting Titanium Man for Armor Wars, they'd also better show what happened in that story Rhodey kept telling everyone in Age of Ultron.
|
No one remembers that
|
I imagine we'll see Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, and Firepower. Maybe some shield mansroids too.
I'm personally hoping for a stiltman cameo. |

But, yeah, Werewolf by Night was a lot of fun. It's very stylish and doing it in the way they did is such a call back to old school cinema. It's got the vibe of "The Post-Modern Prometheus" of The X-Files. It was nice to see Harriet Harris as I always thought the roles she did in the nineties were great, like in Frasier. Werewolf by Night himself could've been a bit scarier or more monstrous but I suppose they were trying to pay homage to the Wolfman of old. I'd be down for more one-shots like this.
SPOILER: show |
Really liked Werewolf By Night..... hope they make it a "Halloween tradition" and put out a new one next year....

It warms my heart that The Spectacular Spider-Man got added to Disney+. I wasn't expecting it to get on, what with all the legal hoopla surrounding it. It kills me that we never got a third season and instead got tossed nonsense like Ultimate Spider-Man and the 2017 series.

Honestly feel like this "Marvel Studios' Special Presentation" format is the way to go over drawn out TV series....
|
I think both are fine they just need to start with an idea instead of a quota
|
Werewolf by night worked because it had a vision they were inspired to realize

"Vision Quest" series starring The Vision coming to Disney+

Some pretty wild rumors about Secret Wars and the 'point' of the multiverse saga but the rumor mill went WAY downhill since I used to share stuff here. For Likes and Shares people just blert all kinds of fan theories and actor interviews taken out of context as news. Even the sources I trusted for over a decade went to shit.
Anyway, lil bit rumor lil bit analysis: SPOILER: show |

OK, the Guardians Christmas special, while completely unnecessary and ridiculous, is pretty funny, if a little awkward. There's a lot you're expected to buy but once you know what it's going to be about, you realize there's potential for a ton of comedy. I also appreciate them doing something different with Groot with every outing. It's nowhere near a masterpiece but what else am I going to watch? A Christmas Story for the 564th time?

The ways in which i love mantis can not be overstated

I have never seen A Christmas Story. I did watch the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special though. Was alright.

There might be 10 perfect movies ever made. A Christmas Story is one of them
|
Well now we need a "Destor's 10 Perfect Movies" thread
|
I said might be. There might not even be 10. The Princess Bride would be no1 though
|
|

|
