WWE where you have 50% of the power! Unless of course we don't like the guy you vote for...then we stretch the truth a little!

But yeah, if the plan is to eventually make this a full on WWE vs. NXT storyline, NXT's gonna need to have more than 7 guys to go up against an entire roster |

|
New twist on the Spinning Neckbreaker, never seen that version.
|
It is a nosestud, and yes it does make him look incredibly gay.
|
Hahaha, Cody may as well have been talking about Mark Henry there.
|
The guys who win make more money than the guys who lose..and I should know that better than anybody because I lose..a lot..

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! I <3 Cody! I knew he had greatness written all over him when he and his brother inducted Dusty into the HoF.
:shifty: |
Rhodes going oober dick heel?
|
WHIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
|
ROFL
Giving him water. LOL he barely got hit. |
this will inevitebly lead to matt stryker having enough of being punked and taking batistas place as the new monster heel!
|
lol Striker's about to quit his job as NXT host soon
|
Oh, no! A cheap shot by Cody Rhodes on Matt Stryker! Quick, somebody get him a bottle of water!
And then Stryker looked at the bottle of water and looked up and was like, WTF am I supposed to do with this? |
I'd like to be the first to wish Cody's nose stud well in it's future endeavors.
|
So, no stupid "rookie challenges" this season?

NXT was fucking topps tonight fellas

Week 2 analysis.
In Ring: Kaval: He's as good as advertised. Looked really good in his match against Riley. He looked like a threat. And he got over with his brutality. Riley: Still not feeling him, but he's good in the ring. He does get good heat, despite no one knowing who the fuck he is. His finish is good. Mcguilli-Hennig: He did the Lion's Share of the work in his match. Everything he did was great. And he did something I did NOT think possible: create a neckbreaker variation I had never seen before. Cannon: He really is this season's Lance Cade... I mean Heath Slater. He couldn't be more bland if his name was Vanilla. He comes off as really green, and though he did alot of work in the match, he was just there. The Promos: Har-Rotunda: Interesting Story. He comes off like a modern splotch-less Dusty Rhodes. And that is a good thing if he can get over with this crowd. Cottonwood: I don't feel like he should talk much. He should just say enough to make people think he's a dangerous man, and then back up those concerns with brutality. |
this episode of NXT made me realize I can never book a wrestling show
|
Why's that?
|
I would just book Kaval to win every match on every episode of NXT
even ones he's not involved in in any way |
makes sense. I would say he looked really strong even in defeat. And Riley needs the rub slightly more.
|
I loved NXT this week. Everyone got a chance to be developed, when you think about it. To get 16 guys doing something in an hour and not make it feel like TNA is pretty impressive.
The opening segment was neccessary after last week. It established why things went down as they did, and explained how the rookies and pros can be back on the same page. This led to Alex Riley vs. Kaval, which was a great match. Kaval is intense, and people will get into him and his kicks. He looked more dominating than Riley, so it made sense to have him lose the match. Riley needs a chance to show himself off -- I mean, he doesn't exactly have a pro that people will get behind. I think Riley could be a star. He can really talk, and he carried himself well in the ring. The WWE have been looking for a way to get him involved on RAW for a long time, and it looks like they've finally found it. I'd like to see his relationship with The Miz keep going past NXT 2. He could be a huge factor in The Miz's success in his second reign as United States Champion. Michael McGillicutty's name was finally explained. It's actually growing on me, even though I still think it's stupid. I liked the construct of the main event. On one hand, Lucky Cannon took a beating, so we are meant to like him -- but resourceful McGillicutty came out of nowhere to win the match. I must see his shoe-lace tying. Sounds so Mr. Perfect-ish. Also, I think McGillicutty should have a perfect record. I'm actually looking forward to Cody Rhodes vs. Lucky Cannon next week. Rhodes will win that match, but both Rhodes and Cannon are solid ring hands that I don't think people expect much from, so they will surprise. |
Season 2's class is better than Season 1's, based solely off first impressions.
I was only really impressed by AmDrag, Barrett, and Sheffield from Season 1 off the bat. And even then, I felt Sheff's character needed a mean streak. I rib the hell out of Watson for looking like a cross between Urkel and Lamont (sp? The gay guy from Revenge of the Nerds), but he's got personality. Cottonwood, I think we all know how I feel on him. Kaval is kind of a duh. Harris is better than given credit for. Riley, apart from stealing Rick Steiner's Jacket and fucking it up, is good at everything. And Hennig is great at everything. |
