This was a great promo! I actually find myself looking forward to a US title match for the first time in months. That also might be because he hasn't defended it in months.

2 minor blotches (Summerslam, not Smackdown and the empty briefcase :lol:) but that was a superb segment. Bryan's crossface looks so much more painful than Benoit's version, especially with the leg leverage.

gotta disagree, crippler crossface looked way vicious. bryan's look like it puts more on the neck while benoit's imo was aimed to separate the shoulder

I think they both are pretty vicious. They are being delivered by two entirely different people stylistically. Benoit's facial expressions with his were always pretty intense. Bryan is more of an "I just want to enjoy inflicting pain on you" delivery. I loved the smile on his face when he was locked onto riley.

Maybe Lil Evan Bourne like how Sheamus calls him.
