I don't plan to. I participated several years in a row, was the most active and did fairly well but the decision to have a drafting style that is unforgiving to absentees was not one I was particularly fond of.

Unless I am in attendance of the draft next year I don't see me taking part. Which leaves you, mayo, moonax, el vaq and probably droford and 6-7 managers who abandon their teams a few weeks in, likely for the same reasons.

I put my team on cruise control since I pretty much new I was locked in to the playoffs. My only problem is my goaltending has gone to hell lately but there aren't any goalies FA.

actually the league is pretty active. RDD has taken his team from the basement to the playoffs. The only person who quit was FA and that was because he was too much of a pussy to try to manage his team to success.

Starting off with a handicap is not something I like doing. Maybe in a dynasty league where I have more then a year to turn things around but I got autodrafted a pretty garbage team and after several attempts to make trades for a quality goaltender and no one biting I failed to see the point of continuing.

Not really. RDD started with a handicap, Mayo missed the draft and started with a handicap. They managed their way out of their starting position. The only person who was too much of a pussy to try to manage their way out of it was you.

Quitting because you won't win is the biggest pussy move out there.

I've been a bit disappointed this year. It looks like quite a few people dropped out early - ie FA and really only the four of us were bothering.

Even baseball (as is the case every year) has a lot of drop outs. So far, it seems ok, but in time, it will become quiet.
