You mean like how people here expected that for Daniel Bryan?

DaveBrawl 12-19-2011 10:44 PM

I loved the opening, but that may be my highlight of the show.

Innovator 12-19-2011 10:44 PM

I hope Show breaks out a new submission when he goes heel.

Yeah okay.

Mr. Pierre 12-19-2011 10:54 PM

I don't want Big Show to turn heel. It would make sense for him to, but I just think he works best as a face. He's been one of their best wrestlers for a while. Really underrated

Blakeamus 12-19-2011 10:54 PM

haha this is gonna be great

Innovator 12-19-2011 10:54 PM

THIS IS PUNK'S STABLE THEN THEY'LL SNAP AND BECOME BADASS SUBMISSION MACHINES WHO PLAY BY THEIR OWN RULES.

DISCIPLINE.

FearedSanctity 12-19-2011 10:55 PM

I missed the ending.

My stream froze but I still got the audio.

I heard Cole asking "Why?", so I'm assuming Punk, Ryder & Bryan stood on top of the announce table and gloated to Cole or something along those lines?

Just Punk

jerichoholicninja 12-19-2011 11:13 PM

Del Rio looked hurt at the end. He told the ref something, ref told Punk and Bryan and there was help in the ring right away. It was never mentioned or shown. He didn't look like he got hurt at all.

Innovator 12-19-2011 11:13 PM

Ref tossed the x up for Del Rio at the end

Did you notice how many rules of various other individuals he was playing by? NONE.

Was Daniel Bryan allowing nonsense, or was he no-nonsense?

BTW, can't wait for the 2.7 rating this disaster will draw.

Holy shit, I think I remember that now that you mention it.

Also, was there no better way they could make Cena's shirt easy to tear without having the incredible noticable cut at the top during a promo where the camera was in a close up of his face/the top of his shirt? lol.

#1-norm-fan 12-20-2011 01:22 AM

Beware, Kolby. Beware.

I love Santino. The WWE needs more designated jobbers so Santino doesn't have to be one.

Alberto Del Rio and Beth Phoenix were both injured at Monday's WWE RAW Supershow from Philadelphia.

Del Rio was carried out of the building by trainers after Raw went off the air. There was some fear that he may have suffered a groin injury, but after being checked out by WWE trainers, he's said to be doing alright. He's not expected to miss any ring time, despite some soreness.

Beth Phoenix has a nasty lump on the side of her face folowing her match with Alicia Fox. At this time, it's unclear at what point in the match the injury takes place, but it looks like she has a golf ball sticking out of her right temple

Mr. Nerfect 12-20-2011 04:22 AM

Glad that Alberto Del Rio's injury is not too bad. I was sort of hoping that RAW's result would lead to be a big non-title victory against him for Daniel Bryan on SmackDown! this week.

Ice Cream Bar 12-20-2011 04:59 AM

I've just watched the match again and the only thing that went near Beth's face was Alicia's finisher.

It looked like she botched it and hurt Natalya with it on SmackDown and now she's hurt Beth. Maybe she'll be told to change it. :-\

Ice Cream Bar 12-20-2011 08:57 AM

I hope Beth and Kelly get double jobbed to TNA. Sick of those bitches facing each other every week. Alicia needs to bury da bitch in a FOX HO...le

This. I think Del Rio needs to go back to smackdown for a little while. Have a solid feud with bryan. I like Del Rio but he just seems a little overwhelmed on RAW.

And if theyre going to keep these 6 in the title pictures I would have Del Rio-Bryan, Punk-Ziggler, and Ryder-Miz.

I know Miz is bigger than the US title, but it makes sense for this feud. Miz claims to be the "must see" superstar, and Ryder is the guy people cant get enough of yet. Miz, although fairly new himself, would be a great way to give ryder that legit feel. And mis isnt above people others over (riley) and he seems to get more heat when he loses.

Punk-ziggler.......just do it!!

Ice Cream Bar 12-20-2011 10:35 AM

Miz should go to Smackdown not Del Rio. Miz can feud with Bryan make that the Mania match or a triple threat with Orton. Miz is just going to Chris Jericho circa 2004 on RAW. Del Rio on RAW at least is an aggressive beast.

As for Ziggles the Clown facing Punk.... ROFL nigga gimme some of that kool aid. Ziggles should go to Jakked back in 2000 so he can job to Scotty 2 fuckin Hotty

DAMN iNATOR 12-20-2011 11:03 AM

Pretty solid RAW last night despite there not being a whole lot going on other than the "big" title wins/retention. I don't mean to be this guy, but I'll just come right out and say it: I honestly do not understand the big deal and the love of Daniel Bryan. Sure he's a huge internet sensation and he'd been around the minor leagues 13 years before making it to WWE. Like Cole said, though, anyone with enough luck can make it to WWE, win some stupid briefcase and cash it in on a defenseless guy who's out cold.

Other than that, only gripe I have is with King making that awful and uncalled for joke about 'Swog having "low elf-esteem" after he kissed Vickie backstage. :n:

Ice Cream Bar 12-20-2011 11:04 AM

No, it was a pathetic attempt by King to be funny by insulting Vickie (boy, that sure never gets old!) through her interaction backstage with Hornswoggle and it was in poor taste, IMHO.

Ice Cream Bar 12-20-2011 12:42 PM

the only poor taste here is Gertner's pussy

I'm sure what Danielson did in the bush leagues matters a lot.

Gertner 12-21-2011 10:00 AM

Raw scored a 2.92 rating.

There ya go. Smark shit = no ratings.

Shadrick 12-21-2011 11:34 AM

Gertner, your logic is flawless. The only thing that goes into a Raw rating is who the champions are. There are no other factors. Interesting storylines, coming out of a PPV without their top guy even being mentioned, Michael Cole being annoying, all those things don't matter. Ryder winning the belt and DB winning the belt means that people stop watching. You should write for WWE since you seem to have it all together.

Gertner 12-21-2011 11:42 AM

I'll submit my resume. Can I use you as a reference?

Lock Jaw 12-21-2011 02:04 PM

I would like to see Gertner write for WWE. I think the results would make for compelling TV.

It appears that not even Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson can save the WWE from their poor PPV numbers. On Tuesday, the WWE released their preliminary estimates for Survivor Series which featured The Rock's return to the ring for the first time in over 7 years. According to a Wednesday December 21st report by PWTorch.com, Survivor Series did about 280,000 PPV buys. In comparison to the previous two years, it's a slight increase as the WWE did 244,000 in 2010 and 235,000 in 2009.

I really wish Cena would have acted a little more afraid of Kane. That dentist crack was completely unnecessary.

But CM Punk makes inside references! So if John Cena does it, its still cool, right?!

Anybody Thrilla 12-22-2011 01:50 PM

The sell was as fine as a Cena sell will be, but his bullshit on the mic sounded like he was trying to make Kane sound like a little punk bitch. Uncalled for when you have a returning monster in dire need of credibility if this last push is going to work at all.

Not that it really matters. The more I think about it, the more I believe that Kane's only back to build Cena up as a threat for Mania.

You're probably right. I keep forgetting that it's about that time.
