I started doing a bit of digging, and May kept on popping up. either it was the month of being born or the month of them passing away.

(It's interesting to note, that Rod McMahon was born in May, were as
His son Vince passed away also in May.

I wouldn't read that much into it. There are only 12 months, and a lot of dead wrestlers, so one of them was bound to have the most.

You know what...I would actually enjoy that sight. He'd no doubt only be champion for a few weeks until Punk wins it back at WrestleMania; but as a prop championship it makes perfect sense.

Also, the best time to introduce a new WWE Championship belt was when Punk left with the old one after Money in the Bank last year. But since they didn't do that -- Jericho changing the current WWE Championship into a flashing one and then Punk winning that and bringing in a classic-style belt would suit me fine.

If I could be serious for a moment :lol: I think it is a good angle. He was the first undisputed champion (a concept I kind of wish they would bring back) and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he won every championship in the wwe, and a decent number of championships in wcw/ecw. He can sell a match with the best of them and is pretty solid on the mic. I think he is a very good matchup for CM Punk considering most of the main eventers are still fairly green.
