Tyreese punching Rick in the preview of the next episode. Was Rick just freaking out or something or is that a start of some feud. I'd think it's the former but who knows.

Savio 10-18-2013 12:21 PM

Rick probably said multiple unnecessary racist statements before hand.

Savio 10-18-2013 12:21 PM

opposed to multiple necessary racist statements

Sixx 10-18-2013 12:33 PM

Maybe Rick remembered he was always supposed to have only one black buddy and he chose Michonne.

Savio 10-18-2013 12:41 PM

totally read this as African American Mule and wondered when you became so racist.

Then realized that it must be I who is in fact the racist.

:?:
The infection that lead to their being zombies in the very first place

Adder 10-18-2013 02:28 PM

The show should make different levels of zombies and their decaying. Like the original infected zombies should be further along in their decaying process than a newer zombie. They sort of imply it a bit with the way certain zombies easily burst (example) when falling through the roof while others don't.

Show just needs to get back to a little more subtle depth.

Uhuh. So what the second infection does is just making people and pigs drop dead?

Adder 10-18-2013 04:01 PM

I assume that guy is going to turn into a zombie

Hanso Amore 10-18-2013 04:03 PM

His eyes opened and he became a zombie in this one.

The guy at the fence had bloody eyes and was a zombie as well.

Its going to be some kind of plague that kills people - so now you have to worr yabout zombies, Humans and disease.

Sixx 10-18-2013 07:11 PM

Of course he turned into a zombie, that's not my point.

What I'm saying is that infection apparently kills people since the "first" infection already was turning everyone dead into zombies. Now they drop dead by themselves. Which is just weird.

Razzamajazz 10-18-2013 07:25 PM

maybe it will be explained in a later episode? just a hunch

itsmeJD 10-20-2013 03:21 AM

When is Marlo and the rest of Baltimore joining the cast?

RP 10-20-2013 07:48 AM

Pretty sure he's turning into a werewolf

Savio 10-20-2013 10:56 PM

Pretty stupid that people just don't constantly clear the fence.....what else is there to do during the day?

Raven Reaper 10-21-2013 07:32 AM

Who burned those 2 bodies and who were they?

Did I miss something? Must rewatch it again..

Schlomey 10-21-2013 08:45 AM

I really enjoyed last nights episode if not only for the pigs blood scene. However, the best part of my night came in the closing minutes of the Talking Dead where they showed the preview for next weeks episode.....7 days away.....

Sixx 10-21-2013 09:34 AM

SPOILER: show
The dead rats around the fence were a nice hint as to who's coming back next episode. Heh, even checked the damn imdb to see that David Morrissey's credits show him as starring in it. Can't wait.

Corporate CockSnogger 10-21-2013 12:04 PM

There was like what 40-50 zombies at most pushing that fence down. Between the 5 of them slicing through their heads like butter, they probably should've dealt with the problem in like 2 minutes tops.

Savio 10-21-2013 12:17 PM

I think the director should have had Rick say a line in the beginning of the episode like "Isn't D-Block on fence duty now?"

Yeah but I don't think he'll be in there. Probably will show him with his crew elsewhere.

Ermaximus 10-21-2013 12:28 PM

Couldn't have been him seeing how the rats were inside the fence and the gate can only be opened from inside the fence. He likely has someone on the inside doing his dirty work for him.

Considering how tall the zombie that ate the rat was, I kind of don't see that as possible, unless she was using a crate or something as a stepstool.

Schlomey 10-21-2013 12:51 PM

which is what Nicotero mentioned during Talking Dead....I still think it's her. I can't wait to be proved right or wrong.....

Savio 10-21-2013 12:55 PM

They needed to dig a waterless moat with spikes inside to fuck up these zombies so they can't get to the fence. #IfIWasInCharge

Seeing how the whole Rick's gang is still alive, I'd say yeah.

Lock Jaw 10-21-2013 01:19 PM

Yeah, seems to me they should have people along the fence all the time clearing walkers. Not to be all last minute "HEY THERE ARE A LOT HERE".

Also more "booby traps" for them.

Like they aren't even trying.

That would take a lot of time, even with a team of people digging. Even then, you'd have to have people protecting those who are digging. Plus, where would you find that much water? How deep would you have to make the holes?

Lock Jaw 10-21-2013 02:47 PM

Really should have just taken over Woodbury instead of bringing everybody to live in a prison. Woodbury had some sturdy gates.

Would just have spikes, not water. At least 4 ft deep so dozens of them could not just push against the fence.

Ermaximus 10-21-2013 04:13 PM

In that case, why not dig a 5 foot pit all the way around and line it with barbed wire?

Savio 10-21-2013 04:15 PM

That's not a bad idea but I don't know if they could have gotten that done in 7 months.

Corporate CockSnogger 10-21-2013 04:17 PM

Def seems like it'd be easy to just send out a group each morning to do a sweep and take out any groups of zombies they find. There'd be a lot at first so maybe go out a few times a day. Eventually the zombie numbers in the area would die down and you'd only need the one sweep a day and then just take out any that make it through the sweep as soon as they get there rather than just stare at them through a fence while twiddling thumbs.

And yeah I guess have someone on night watch in case a horde of them come at night. Dumb tv characters.

Ermaximus 10-21-2013 04:19 PM

Clearly someone is luring them to the prison at night. That or that crazy bitch in the woods is prancing around naked and causing the zombies to shamble away from her.

Corporate CockSnogger 10-21-2013 04:19 PM

Aside from not being able to feed myself without shops to buy fresh food from, pretty confident I could easily survive a zombie apocalypse. Just need to find a friend with some farming skills or something.

Talk to BDC.

Lock Jaw 10-21-2013 04:21 PM

Morgan seemed to have a good handle on fortifying his position with booby traps and pitfalls. You know, despite being crazy.

Savio 10-21-2013 04:27 PM

Imagine a zombie moat guys, zombies walk up to the building and fall in the 6 ft deep pit and is now a defense for the building. Rick falls in the pit somehow and has to be badass, killing zombies to stack up and climb out. Eventually the moat becomes just filled with zombies.

Ermaximus 10-21-2013 04:29 PM

300 Spartans could handle it quite easily as well you know?

Lock Jaw 10-21-2013 06:13 PM

A zombie moat could theoretically also have the bonus of warding other zombies away because the place would stink like the dead, and they'd be like "whatever bro, I'm shambling off in that other direction"

RP 10-21-2013 07:40 PM

Horrible show

Hanso Amore 10-22-2013 01:31 AM

For all the shit it takes for "silly" or "stupid" Writing, no one seems to mention they have killed probably 1000-2000 walkers in a rural area where people were FLeeing. Like no one lives within 50 miles of that prison and at all times those walls are filled.

Disturbed316 10-22-2013 05:44 AM

Poor piggies, better they be zombie bait than kill anymore humans though. Loving Rick's turn around from sitting in the back benches to leading the front. The thing I don't get about the ending though is how did no one hear the smell or see the smoke and fire from those bodies, how far away would the death row be? Either way, really enjoy this weeks show. An interesting back story to come for Michone maybe?

Next week episode looks set to be awesome, zombie hordes

Savio 10-22-2013 11:07 AM

Tyrese vs 7,500 zombies

Adder 10-22-2013 11:12 AM

I know it's a zombie show and if you think too hard about it, it just falls apart, but.

It seems to be getting shallower.

RP 10-22-2013 12:31 PM

I mean, Holy Fuck. Every time I see Glenn gazing at Maggie , I just want him to die so badly. I can't wait for It.

Ermaximus 10-22-2013 01:59 PM

But then you won't get as many chances to see her naked.

Savio 10-23-2013 07:37 AM

Carl will take it over

Ermaximus 10-23-2013 11:24 AM

Carl will likely be smashing Beth soon.

Innovator 10-23-2013 12:40 PM

Schlomey 10-27-2013 10:31 PM

Savio 10-30-2013 09:18 AM

Bumping this because I hate the title of that new X-men movie.

Kalyx triaD 10-30-2013 09:43 AM

The one where the title is from a critically acclaimed comic? Sure, ok.

RP 10-30-2013 09:47 AM

Can Glen and Maggie get any more boring? One of them has to die soon and no way its Maggie. Also, they need to start doing flashbacks. This show is getting stale. They need flashbacks and a major change odd scenery as far as the setting. Like, move them into the city for whatever reason.

Actually he made sense, it's just he was cut off because he always goes deep into things and Talking Dead is a glorified informercial and there's no time for that. Manson is better one on one than quick paced talk shows.

TJ/AA pretty much nails it.

Rick banishing Carol is interesting, we'll see where this all leads to. Maybe it opens up a new storyline. Pretty good episode this week.

Corporate CockSnogger 11-04-2013 10:43 AM

Carol's been the most interesting character so far this season. Hopefully she wanders off and finds the governor or whatever.

Razzamajazz 11-04-2013 11:49 AM

maybe she'll have her own spinoff series

Been crapping on this show lately, but this last episode was one of the best I've seen. Carol and Rick were amazing. Everyone was pretty much fascistic. Change of scenery was great. Tons of character advancment. Great episode. Only thing missing was some Maggie action.

I dont know if it was mentioned, but I felt like this episode was trying to establish clear similarities between Carol and The Governor.

Disturbed316 11-05-2013 04:14 AM

Carol's character has really stepped up the last couple of weeks, will be interesting to see where she heads off to. Still convinced she is covering for someone else though.

Nah

Not in my eyes anyways. I felt they were advancing the character of Carol and re-establishing Rick. What I think might happen is a case of "why does Carol get banished discussion and friction in the group along with delving into Carl's lack of punishment for shooting a kid, etc."

I felt they've added some much needed tension to the show. It was starting out a bit to "kum-bai-yah"

And yeah, maybe she finds that guy whose shoulder she set. Maybe she speaks ultra cold and methodical ('matter of fact') with him and he leaves her.

Raven Reaper 11-11-2013 07:13 AM

I get that that episode was supposed to be really tense and stuff, but I just couldn't find myself getting into it. Ended up just flicking through Facebook while it was on in the background. Think I'm probably just losing interest in the show as a whole.

Loved this episode, especially the scene where Carl steps up big time, he's no longer a boy. That Lizzie kid is going losing it big time, she's going to grow up a big time nut job. The scene at the end with Hersel, heartbreaking :'(
