NormanSmiley 02-23-2014 12:44 AM

Zack probably would have put him over clean. Since its all about what's best for biz

Shisen Kopf 02-23-2014 01:21 AM

without Hulk Hogan there would be no TPWW or any of you posters. Plus there would have been no Team Gorm or anything like that either. Hogan is a rasslin god.

Without Hulk Hogan there would be no Hulkamania.

Im not a huge Hogan mark, But I respect the fact that he is the reason wrestling became such a mainstream smash.

But I also question whether it was Hogans talent or the 'Incredible for the time' gimmick?

Would 'Hulk Hogan' have still been a phenomenon if the gimmick had been portrayed by someone else?

Bryan while he's not oozing with orange leathery bean bag hamminess like Hogan is just a really likable guy its a bit inexplicable for me anyway.

Shawn is a given

I hear you though its a shame mic skills come before actual in ring ability although one really shouldn't trump the other IMO as they are both vital to wrestling.

It's entertainment. It's not a shame either way. It's just personal taste.

a god among men!

Jannettyzilla 02-23-2014 12:48 PM

The height of Hulkamania is a lot like Woodstock. Unless you were there you have no idea how big it was.

So think of Wrestlemania XXX like this: WWE is offering a main event of Nickleback vs. Hoobastank. But they just managed to bring in Hendrix.

This is a no-frickin-brainer, the original idea behind the thread is dookie.

Lol Ibet Norman thought people would back him more.

NormanSmiley 02-23-2014 05:27 PM

Norman did not. He knows the love for hulk. Norman just knowshe ddid every self serving thing imaginable at every juncture. And also that some people just choose to hear real american and see past it.

owenbrown 02-23-2014 05:44 PM

this is a very one-sided argument

Just because a man's a self-serving asshole behind the scenes doesn't invalidate what he accomplished for the business.

But enough talk about Chris Benoit.

See what I did there? Double standards are as inevitable as differing viewpoints. I can't be right until someone else is wrong.

Savio 02-24-2014 08:20 PM

I don't think he should have ever wrestled past 2003
