Here it is guys, the interview you've been waiting for...

CHW: Thank you for taking the time to sit down for this one-on-one interview Matty Boyle.

Matty: My pleasure.

CHW: First of all, we'd just like to cut to the chase and ask you "the big question". Why is CHW Backyard ending?

Matty: Ya know, it's not so much one reason, but several. First of all, our age. It's no secret that we've been more-or-less the same gang for the past 7 years and a lot of birthdays have flew by. Our average roster age over 30 years old, and I know a lot of people out there will say "Ahhh, that's not old..." but consider this, we wrestle for the love of the sport on a voluntary basis. We all have to wake up on Monday and go to work, pay our bills and support our kids. The injuries pile up over the years due to physical nature of what we do. Another reason is due to the fact that some of the wrestlers here want to seek out other endeavors such as music, acting and so fourth. In other words, it was time to move on.

CHW: How did the CHW Roster react after news broke out that there would not be a Season 8?

Matty: There was an overall sadness. Mostly due to the fact that we all won't be seeing each other as much. In front of the camera we may have tore each other apart, but behind the scenes we were like a big family. Some of the guys are going to continue their career in this sport whereas others are going to take this opportunity to call it a day and ride off into the sunset.

CHW: What is going to happen to the official YouTube page?

Matty: Oh that is going to stay open. That is our legacy! The videos will stay up and if I'm not mistaken, the guy in charge of our channel is even planning on releasing some new videos of never-before-seen footage and "Top 10" compilations to keep the channel active. So stay tuned for that, fans!

CHW: Is this a "goodbye forever" or is there still a chance that CHW Backyard will re-open it's doors somewhere down the line?

Matty: In this business the common answer is "never say never" and I would have to say that this rule applies very well. The fire still burns bright in most of our guys and I'm sure if a comeback were to occur sometime in the future, it would be nothing short of awesome. But for now, our guys are going to take some well-deserved time off and enjoy time with their families.

CHW: In all of your personal experiences here in CHW, what would you say your favorite overall moment would be?

Matty: In a selfish way, I'd like to say that it was the day I was promoted to General Manager. But if I had to step outside the box and pick one moment that really stands out, I'd have to go with the first ever Genie In The Lamp Ladder Match. I was very new to backyard wrestling at the time and some of the stunts pulled off in that match just blew my mind. As time went on, that video was and still is the highest-viewed match in all of backyard history. So definitely that moment!

CHW: We read earlier that there is going to be one last event before this is all over. Do you mind shedding some light on how that's going to go down?

Matty: I do not mind at all! See, one of the things we prided ourselves most on here was listening to the fans and giving them what they want. Two things that would always come up in the comments was putting on a full event and shooting in HD. Well, we've had the HD cameras for a while but were just waiting for the new Season to start to use them, and a full event is in the works in the coming weeks,

CHW: What matches will be seen on this full event?

Matty: To be honest, I can't really say because that's going to be up to the wrestlers. All 3 CHW Titles (Backyard, Tag Team & Interstate) will be on the line and I'm letting the champs chose their challengers.

CHW: Sounds really awesome, can't wait to see the crazy, hardcore action! Thanks for taking this time with us here tonight.

Amazing news people, BTW have declared that they will return...for ONE LAST SHOW. One last Backyardmania. As some of you know, BTW were forced to close they're doors when BTW superstar Justin Silver passed away earlier this year. Since then they have done a documentary on his life and career but have not wrestled another show.

Well, it looks like the BTW stars have agreed to hold ONE LAST SHOW! I think this I what Justin Silver would've liked, for them to continue wrestling. I cant wait to see what BTW are going to do as they go all out on the last show, especially what Justin Silver's former tag partner THE HEIST can do without his tag team partner at his side.

Really missed BTW, so excited to see one last show from them. They are one of the best backyard feds that there ever was.

So I've been watch DBW recently. DBW stands for DOMINATING Backyard Wrestling and its a really high quality, high budget production with a professional wrestling ring and the video quality is incredible. These guys are really making their product look like one million bucks!

They have just posted their latest event, NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER and because of the high quality it takes a while for them to put it out thats why its only out now. But let me tell you, this action is worth the wait.

You guys simply gotta check it out, one wrestling fan to another, you are not gonna regret it.

That ring is YUGE! Best ring I have ever seen, belive me. That's a big league ring.
