I know it is the norm for "major" promotions to copyright characters and names, but Impact is not a "major" promotion. I'd imagine Jeff and Matt have more money in the bank than Impact does, fuck Impact, if The Hardy's have a case, take them to court and shove them deeper into debt. According to DA SHEETS, TNA does trademark things, like Aron Rex is trademarked for some goddamn reason. But they either didn't or couldn't with Matt Hardy.

It would be awesome if they appeared in WWE, and the first thing that happens is that Matt has a PREEEMONEEETION about some owl fornication.

According to the Observer, WWE currently planning on letting the Hardys use the Broken gimmick once they make their official return.

Currently speculated the WWE isn't worried about any potential legal backlash from Impact and Hardys have a strong case of ownership to be able to counter a lawsuit or legal threats from Impact once they return.
