Only TNA would end their biggest show of the year with the type of angle the live crowd will hate and that WWE would do on a random episode of RAW. Fail.

Harmless enough overall though, but I can't picture myself watching TNA/Impact after the ppv on a regular basis.

He's done plenty wrong. Him playing a victim is pretty laughable.

Depending on the option picked, it might have actally cost more to order this event on PPV than to buy a ticket to see the show. PPV prices were somewhere between $40-$50 for packages.

To be fair a bit, Del Rio supposedly wasn't very cooperative at all with Impact/Anthem's investigation into the incident which is why his suspension lasted as long as it did and why people didn't believe he was completely innocent.

Its not anthems/impact job to probe into his relationship, thats a police matter.

Seen highlights of the show, seemed pretty good except El Patron messing up the main event. As far that storyline goes though it makes sense. He didn't do anything and was punished, he's got a right to be pissed. Actually kind of similar to Zeke Elliott and the NFL, if all it takes is an accusation then as men were all in trouble.

While I agree with the spirit of Destor and the instance that caused the loudest uproars being bullshit (I'm counting the backstage incident in WWE here also), there are other PR nightmares that have Mr. Of The River in a similar quagmire that guys like Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy existed in. You want to give a guy as talented as he is (don't discount his talent here, because he is. Especially as a heel) a chance to work and possibly grow beyond his demons, but at the same time, it would also make a hell of a lot of business sense to cut your losses and go in another direction. He is going to be under an enormous magnifying glass, and if he so much as jaywalks somewhere, he's going to be painted as some hardened criminal because of EVERYTHING reported on before it.

I am assuming the hope is that Alberto gets his poop in a group and this ends up being the beginning of his redemption story.

Impact is casting and paying people to sit and watch tapings.
