Wrestling can be so good when it is simple. Aleister Black has a great kick. Can he knock out this brute that keeps beating him up and is going for his belt? So fucking simple and I am into it.

There's something that works about Aleister Black, but there's something that feels...off. I do like him, I just don't love him as much as I should.

Lars Sullivan might be called up soon, to be honest. I don't get the same feeling of imminence that I get from Nikki, but this is a safe semi-main to see how he does, and if Vince likes it, he could be squashing bitches by SummerSlam.

He's a midcard guy who is more gimmick than "match of the night" guy. That's pretty much what I expect from Dream. Though I think Dream is CAPABLE of having a MOTN if they give him the time and the story. Not so sure with Elias.

I think Iginfest would be a big fan of LARS

My only problem with this is that it feels eerily similar to the story of the women's match. They often fall into these dramatic arcs that kind of feel like they're overlapping a bit. I appreciate the effort to have actual stories though.

Why does Gargano have anime/video game music?

NXT really needs a reboot. To me the greatest thing about NXT was that the top guys felt better than the guys on Raw and Smackdown, and that just wait til they get to WWE cause they will takeover if you will.

A guy like Aleister Black, 2 years ago would have come across as a game changer. Now, I just know when he gets called up WWE will at best screw him up, and at worst ruin him.

The whole point of NXT is to make new stars, not new midcarders. I fear the callups of Tommaso, Gargano, Velveteen, Aleister , Adam Cole, EC3, ect.

This feels like it is trying to be one of those Shawn Michaels/Taker epics, but they know the words and not the music. It's coming off as hammy to me. Ciampa positing Gargano in that submission so we can get a dramatic shot of Johnny's face.

They're in a really hard spot. It's hard for guys to tell this story in 2018. It's hard to get the psychology there for a blood feud. But real slimeball moments like taking off a dude's wedding ring and spitting on it are punctuated by Emerald Frosions. "You spat on my life! I'm going to hit you with this acrobatic and convoluted maneuver!"
