Then again WWE is very hit-or-miss with sudden turns and the Bellas suck at doing it.

You have AJ lose, he goes away for a month, returns at Survivor Series and gets it back when it means even more. You also showcase Joe as a legit main eventer. AJ Styles reign feels like Shawn Michaels' bland 1996 title reign.

There's merit to a longer title reign as well.

Another pretty meh match but Ronda busting out a double arm bar was pretty cool.

Didn't care much about that 6-woman tag bout.

This longer title reign has ruined Nakamura and now Joe.

They're far from damaged goods. Joe lost to Lesnar last year and he's still rock solid. It's only a matter of time for Nakamura to return to prominence.

That's a bit insulting considering she's meant to be WWE's biggest mainstream female star.

After seeing what Asuka has become, I have my doubts. I do understand though. When I was a child I thought The Bushwhackers and Jim Duggan were outstanding. As long as the good guy won, I was happy. I did not care for storylines.

Wish WWE did a better job of presenting Rousey. Make her feel special.
