Christian vs. Hobb was really good.

Hobbs was also relly good in this match. Christian's two matches in AEW have been just as good showcases for his opponents as they have been for him.


Card for next week's show looks pretty good. Feels a bit weak but AEW usually still puts out bangers whenever they have weak cards on paper.

I have watched AEW and RAW for 3 weeks now and I will say AEW just has a much better all around show. The flow is better, no cheesy backstage BS (or at least not a lot of it ) the announcing is 100X better and you get something different week to week.

RAW feels like Shotgun Saturday night compared to this

It was hard to top the Allin/Hardy match from last week, but this was also pretty good. I don't really care for Jurassic Express because they run around with that goofball Marco Stunt but still good

And it was good, again.

This week's show was very entertaining overall. Only real weak point was the QT Marshall vs. Billy Gunn match and stuff.

Both title matches tonight delivered and even Jade Cargill's promo was an improvement over her prior ones.


Now that the show is over, it did feel like one of their better produced episodes. A big lack of audio and timing issues on the production end that AEW usually has for their live shows.

WCW at least had charm at the time.

Would be nice if they could keep things 1 million + since last week (and this week) was good but I can never predict/guess AEW ratings because they fluctuate a lot.

Comparing current RAW to shitty Nitro is a disservice to shitty Nitro. How dare you. Gimme Russo and Arquette over 3 hours of RAW (even before and after WM).

Main event was really well done. Jungle Boy and Darby are both really good.

At least with Nitro, it was an entertaining trainwreck to watch at times under Russo.

RAW doesn't have that feeling under Bruce Prichard and instead has gotten even more boring and awful. Only Drew McIntyre has managed to benefit or look good from the change from Heyman to Prichard and that's mainly because Vince became fond of him as a top star.

Russo era WCW was like 98732578953x better and more entertaining than current Raw

I'd love for AEW to add the IIconics, Vega, Paige, and Chelsea Green but not if they're just going to continue having 1 gal match on Dynamite. There's too much talent to be regulated to Dark and Elevate no matter how deep the pockets are.

Like, I don't fucking care to see QT and Gunn matches. They are great trainers...leave it at that. There's another potential women's match to take its place.

I'd actually find it kinda cool if Dark had matches where QT is training wrestlers. That'd make him useful as on air entertainment.

Really good show. Only down spot for me was the woman's match. A few too many spots that looked slow and sloppy. It wasn't terrible though.

Love the Eddie and Dean partnership. It might be my favorite thing in wrestling right now.

Both Impact and ROH are owned by television companies though.

Only real difference between them and WCW is that their parent companies didn't launch their very own channel and instead just buy up existing channels and networks to put their wrestling shows on. Ted Turner's company launched TNT so WCW never had to worry about tv money stuff unlike WWF until the very end.

2000 Nitro was so much better than current Raw. It was bad and insane but they were trying everything they could to pop a good rating and get viewers. Raw is so lackluster and boring it seems like they’re not even trying. It’s like they’re just like “welp, it’s Monday again. Guess we gotta put something out there for 3 hours. Ugh.”
