Thank god after the misses MCU's been doing we're back to form.

Lock Jaw 07-31-2023 05:52 PM

Can't really say that based on a trailer alone, but I do hope that it is good. The very fact of having an interesting lead puts it streets ahead.

M-A-G 10-04-2023 09:44 PM

Shit's about to go down tomorrow. Please let this be good.

M-A-G 10-05-2023 10:10 PM

Oh, yeah, this was good stuff. Hiddleston just owns this role, it's not even funny. Well, actually, it is funny from time to time. They kick start things pretty awesome here and enough questions get laid out to get you intrigued. This is shaping up to be a good follow up to the first season.

Lock Jaw 10-05-2023 11:18 PM

Mobius/Loki dynamic is great.... forgot...

Ke Huy Quan also a great addition... nice to see something from Marvel where just everything gels so good together.

Off to a great start, didn't want the episode to end and it just flew by.

M-A-G 10-06-2023 12:06 AM

I hope Quan's character isn't just a one-off.

Lock Jaw 10-06-2023 12:23 AM

Feels like too "integral" a piece of the "underbelly" of the TVA to just be a one-off.

rez 10-06-2023 07:18 PM

mikey likey

M-A-G 10-12-2023 11:11 PM

Loki likes pie confirmed.

rez 10-13-2023 08:39 PM

I was so emotionally involved in Sylvie's arc that I could TASTE the McDonald's.

M-A-G 10-13-2023 10:08 PM

That 80s McDonald's interior though.

Lock Jaw 10-14-2023 12:15 PM

Good second episode. Really enjoying this cast and the dynamic. Found myself "wondering" halfway through the episode just how much involvement, if any, the TVA will have in the upcoming Avengers movies. By far it feels like it is the most important/only important piece of building up to the whole Multiverse story... and now I am imagining a world where Loki is actually the leader of the New Avengers team. An in inverse of the first movie, Loki becomes the one putting together the team of heroes to save the Multiverse and is the "main focus" of the movie.

A man can dream.

Lock Jaw 10-19-2023 11:58 PM

Another sweet episode... just love the Loki/Mobius duo....

Lock Jaw 10-19-2023 11:59 PM

Also the more I think about it the more I want my idea above to be made reality.

M-A-G 10-20-2023 04:50 AM

Majors is being asked to carry a lot as he has to do a lot of work to make all of his character's incarnations different from one another, but still engaging. Miss Minutes continues to be a highlight and she's just hilariously unsettling in this episode. It's so odd how the series that I had the least interest in has turned out to be the strongest out of them all.

rez 10-20-2023 02:54 PM

I wasn't a big fan of episode two but damn this one was perdy good.

rez 10-20-2023 02:54 PM

or are you one four now? shrug

Lock Jaw 10-27-2023 10:34 PM

Damn @ the latest episode. Just watched it.

SPOILER: show
R.I.P. Everyone

El Vaquero de Infierno 11-04-2023 06:59 AM

I've been shying away from Marvel for much of the past few years, but I did like the first season of this show. Is the second season worth watching?

XL 11-05-2023 05:24 PM

Absolutely. They need to stick the landing on Friday but it’s one of the best things they’ve done in the last few years.

Lock Jaw 11-05-2023 09:09 PM

If you enjoyed season 1 then season 2 is even better

Seanny One Ball 11-08-2023 06:27 PM

Is it really though

Seanny One Ball 11-08-2023 06:28 PM

We both know I have to hate it just enough to hurt you before I can actually enjoy it now.

Lock Jaw 11-08-2023 06:29 PM

I'd say season 2 is better, yes.

Just try to hate Ke Huy Quan, I dare you!

Seanny One Ball 11-08-2023 06:31 PM

Is that the old man who used to be the young boy in Goonies

Lock Jaw 11-08-2023 06:39 PM

Does 52 count as an old man? If so, then yes.

Seanny One Ball 11-08-2023 07:07 PM

It’s fifteen years older than me and a lot less older than you so man up!

Seanny One Ball 11-08-2023 07:07 PM

Oh no, I’m going to die before I’m an old man…

That sucks ass.

M-A-G 11-09-2023 07:40 AM

I like how this is more of a character study than anything else. Loki has a lot going for him and putting him through the ringer like this and the simple question of what is it he actually wants is very compelling and a great way to explore him. He is a lonely person and it's sad when you realize that he's only got himself to blame for his predicaments. Hopefully this ends on a satisfactory note.

Big Vic 11-09-2023 01:48 PM

I'll eventually finish this but I kinda lost interest after episode 2.

Destor 11-09-2023 02:30 PM

Im caught up on this. Its ok.

Lock Jaw 11-09-2023 05:42 PM

It's no Legends of Tomorrow S2-5

Destor 11-09-2023 08:32 PM

#POTY

M-A-G 11-10-2023 05:52 AM

I thought it ended strong, which is a rarity for these MCU Disney+ shows.

Lock Jaw 11-10-2023 08:32 AM

I thought the end was a bit weird. Maybe because I don't see how it can lead in to the idea I want for the next Avengers (Loki puts together the team and is the main Tony Stark character)

Destor 11-10-2023 09:23 AM

I think at some point they conflated trickster for clever but i liked it well enough. The finale was easily the best ep of the 6.

Lock Jaw 11-10-2023 09:43 AM

My fav episode was the one where they were in the past chasing after Timely, perhaps because that was the episode that reminded me most of Legends of Tomorrow....

Destor 11-10-2023 09:55 AM

I loved Miss Minutes in that one

Destor 11-10-2023 09:55 AM

She was the highlight of the first leg of the season

M-A-G 11-10-2023 11:02 AM

Miss Minutes is probably the greatest thing ever in the whole series. The scene of her watching the imprisoned Minute Men getting their punishment was tremendous and hilariously dark.

GD 11-11-2023 11:38 AM

Solid ending

rez 11-12-2023 09:57 PM

I hope it was the OG ending and not the Kang actor shit. I think it was the ending so I'm good with it.

rez 11-12-2023 09:58 PM

seems like Tom really was done playing the character

rez 11-12-2023 10:00 PM

I hope the Marvels box office didn't cost them what they're doing next because of some soft white muslim women haters.

Big Vic 11-14-2023 09:32 AM

Ended strong, I liked it.
