Thank god after the misses MCU's been doing we're back to form.
Can't really say that based on a trailer alone, but I do hope that it is good. The very fact of having an interesting lead puts it streets ahead.
Shit's about to go down tomorrow. Please let this be good.
Oh, yeah, this was good stuff. Hiddleston just owns this role, it's not even funny. Well, actually, it is funny from time to time. They kick start things pretty awesome here and enough questions get laid out to get you intrigued. This is shaping up to be a good follow up to the first season.
Mobius/Loki dynamic is great.... forgot...
Ke Huy Quan also a great addition... nice to see something from Marvel where just everything gels so good together. Off to a great start, didn't want the episode to end and it just flew by. |
I hope Quan's character isn't just a one-off.
Feels like too "integral" a piece of the "underbelly" of the TVA to just be a one-off.
mikey likey
Loki likes pie confirmed.
I was so emotionally involved in Sylvie's arc that I could TASTE the McDonald's.
That 80s McDonald's interior though.
Good second episode. Really enjoying this cast and the dynamic. Found myself "wondering" halfway through the episode just how much involvement, if any, the TVA will have in the upcoming Avengers movies. By far it feels like it is the most important/only important piece of building up to the whole Multiverse story... and now I am imagining a world where Loki is actually the leader of the New Avengers team. An in inverse of the first movie, Loki becomes the one putting together the team of heroes to save the Multiverse and is the "main focus" of the movie.
A man can dream. |
Another sweet episode... just love the Loki/Mobius duo....
Also the more I think about it the more I want my idea above to be made reality.
Majors is being asked to carry a lot as he has to do a lot of work to make all of his character's incarnations different from one another, but still engaging. Miss Minutes continues to be a highlight and she's just hilariously unsettling in this episode. It's so odd how the series that I had the least interest in has turned out to be the strongest out of them all.
I wasn't a big fan of episode two but damn this one was perdy good.
or are you one four now? shrug
I've been shying away from Marvel for much of the past few years, but I did like the first season of this show. Is the second season worth watching?
Absolutely. They need to stick the landing on Friday but it’s one of the best things they’ve done in the last few years.
If you enjoyed season 1 then season 2 is even better
Is it really though
We both know I have to hate it just enough to hurt you before I can actually enjoy it now.
I'd say season 2 is better, yes.

Is that the old man who used to be the young boy in Goonies
Does 52 count as an old man? If so, then yes.
It’s fifteen years older than me and a lot less older than you so man up!
Oh no, I’m going to die before I’m an old man…
That sucks ass. |
I like how this is more of a character study than anything else. Loki has a lot going for him and putting him through the ringer like this and the simple question of what is it he actually wants is very compelling and a great way to explore him. He is a lonely person and it's sad when you realize that he's only got himself to blame for his predicaments. Hopefully this ends on a satisfactory note.
I'll eventually finish this but I kinda lost interest after episode 2.
Im caught up on this. Its ok.
It's no Legends of Tomorrow S2-5
#POTY
I thought it ended strong, which is a rarity for these MCU Disney+ shows.
I thought the end was a bit weird. Maybe because I don't see how it can lead in to the idea I want for the next Avengers (Loki puts together the team and is the main Tony Stark character)
I think at some point they conflated trickster for clever but i liked it well enough. The finale was easily the best ep of the 6.
My fav episode was the one where they were in the past chasing after Timely, perhaps because that was the episode that reminded me most of Legends of Tomorrow....
I loved Miss Minutes in that one
She was the highlight of the first leg of the season
Miss Minutes is probably the greatest thing ever in the whole series. The scene of her watching the imprisoned Minute Men getting their punishment was tremendous and hilariously dark.
Solid ending
I hope it was the OG ending and not the Kang actor shit. I think it was the ending so I'm good with it.
seems like Tom really was done playing the character
I hope the Marvels box office didn't cost them what they're doing next because of some soft white muslim women haters.
Ended strong, I liked it.
