Oh God, he went on stage? I didn't see that on the show or looked away ... wtf... get a grip.

Fignuts 04-02-2022 01:24 PM

He definitely wasnt there when joe came out. Those must have been taken after the show went off air.

Lock Jaw 04-02-2022 01:38 PM

Or photoshopped

Evil Vito 04-02-2022 02:41 PM

I too am angry that a professional wrestling promoter dares to be excited and enthusiastic about professional wrestling.

Mr. Nerfect 04-02-2022 08:08 PM

Lol, what a fucking mark. Didn’t end up watching this. Don’t care about any TK promotion. Was FTR vs. The Briscoes good?

#1-norm-fan 04-02-2022 08:34 PM

I too don’t care but would also like to know how the matches were.

3. Regal is "in charge"

4. Another PPV

Since my name is on the line, I am kind of curious about 2 and 4. I am still on the boat that this is the last ROH show, unless it becomes "ROH: One Night Stand." (which doesn't count). ROH TV Title will likely never be seen again. The other ROH Belts are held by an AEW talent, except the top title, and I'm sure they'll find a way to hot shot it back onto Lethal on Dark.

You might end up being right. ROH didn’t have enough fans to prop it up, and I’m not sure the people sticking around want more AEW.

erickman 04-02-2022 09:02 PM

yeah if tony was going to talk more tv it would have been last night.

asphyXy 04-02-2022 09:38 PM

Wrestling is good again. Fuck.

God damn excellent.

Ill say one thing though. If ROH is going to be a bigger deal under Khan and get a tv deal, they need to get that belt off Gresham. I love seeing the dude work, but dude is 5' 4". Just, no. He was in an interveiw and Rhett Titus and Josh Woods fucking towered over him. Even the female interveiwer was taller ffs. If that wasnt bad enough, he flubbed his line.

Great technician and hed be useful in the midcard, but he cannot be the face of this if roh is moving up to bigger things.

I might seek that out then. :y:

Hmm, all your points about Gresham make sense. If they want this thing to matter and make sense, I would run with Danielson for a while. Or Claudio if you can get him. Maybe Joe. But I don’t know how likely TV is outside that syndication spot. I don’t know if WarnerMedia would be “cool” with TK generating his own competition for them.

I think it’s likely that it will, at its best, end up like the NXT to AEW’s WWE. I don’t think he’ll actually be able to shine it up enough to have it stand as a viable entity on its own.

#1-norm-fan 04-03-2022 12:37 PM

I too might seek out some of this show.

Totally don’t care though.

That is wrestling at it's finest.

#1-norm-fan 04-19-2022 07:46 PM

When did Dalton Castle get fat?

Jordan 04-19-2022 07:47 PM

The best thing about Dalton Castle was when I heard of him the first time because he became ROH Champion. I then eventually saw him and was very whelmed.

#1-norm-fan 04-19-2022 08:09 PM

Great gimmick and great performer but I haven’t really heard anything about him in years.

Lock Jaw 04-19-2022 08:15 PM

Heard he was champ in some other thread and was just like "lol".... not a gimmick to be a world champ....

#1-norm-fan 04-19-2022 08:20 PM

No. Especially in a “work rate” company. Still love the guy though.

Damian Rey 2.0 04-19-2022 09:10 PM

He’s entertaining, has a fun gimmick, decent enough in the ring. I like him more than Gresham. He’d be a good mid card act for them on the main TV roster.

Gresham I can’t get into. Didn’t care much for their match either.

Embarrassing.

Mr. Nerfect 04-20-2022 04:21 PM

I tried to be optimistic about the idea of ROH, but it was pretty silly. Tony Khan thinks he does a good job with AEW. What kind of content do you think he is going to generate for ROH? Probably nothing because no one will pick it up.

Doesn’t really make sense for a guy to own two wrestling leagues either. Why not just amalgamate them? But you try to look past that if one’s really good and caters to your tastes.
