I hate the idea or Lawler vs Flair in a match. I don't want to watch someone die in the ring and I feel like that is just asking for it.

So it's someone from WWE...what if it's Jeff Jarrett? Kind of a stretch but he's been getting involved recently and he does have history with Flair.

I would think it would have to be someone who isn’t being featured on-screen and is probably just on a legends contract. I can’t imagine WWE wants anyone closely associated with them currently to be involved with anything Flair is doing.

I'd be fine with Lawler but it would make a lot more sense if the match were in Memphis, it's in Nashville. Jarrett has a lot more of a heritage in Nashville, has been active lately, and could work the match with Flair, and also works with Conrad.

Jarrett would be ideal I think.

I still think there is a chance WWE loans out AJ Styles. But I'll go with Jarrett.

Funny enough, pictures of those four training in the ring together were put out a few weeks ago by a Tennessee-based indy fed (FXE Wrestling) Jarrett's done business with before. But I can't find those pictures now.

Everybody just sorta figured it made sense for those to be guys Flair was training with, but it's clear now the pics were removed because they were, presumably, rehearsing the actual match.

Which, I mean, with a 73-year old Flair you kinda have to script everything out.

I was thinking this show was Friday... What with Summerslam and UFC on Saturday night... I may have to watch both at the same time. I won't miss this show though, it does seem like it's going to be a lot of fun.

I watched the you tube video of the entire angle they shot to lead up to this and I was really impressed. They did a great job selling the match. Classic wrestling storytelling. I can legit believe the hatred between Jarrett and Flair
