I'm genuinely curious to see how they consolidate the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. Considering their track record, they'll prefer the lineage of the WWE Championship but I wonder if they'll retroactively recognize Reigns' Universal title reign if they end up retiring the strap.

I guess they had an NXT pool rather than the full roster being available. Seems Shawn didn’t know that though. And Von Wagner should go undrafted. He’s the shits.

Omos going undrafted is a weird one. Bet he’s just in the pool for tonight.

On the televised portion of the draft, SmackDown took a bunch of stables which amount to 17 people drafted vs. only 10 for Raw.

The totals including the supplemental draft made it 21 for SmackDown and 24 for Raw.

You can fudge the numbers a bit more if you exclude managers but regardless, it's sorta sensible why Raw got more supplemental picks + it being a longer show.

Of course this is all headcanon anyway.

Omos' "free agency" was supposedly negotiated by MVP - he wanted him to be able to appear on both brands. Which begs the question of why they couldn't just have Heyman negotiate The Bloodline for both shows which seems to be who the networks both wanted anyway.

Ali and Dolph being free agents is kinda hilarious, not just because it makes them look unimportant but it effectively pigeonholes them further as guys who are just there to be a "hell of a hand", since they can presumably just be brought to any show and plugged in to have a solid match wherever but not do anything of substance.
