my prediction for the main event, since it seems painfully obvious. Match gets dominated by Show, Sandman catches a break, reaches for the Cane, starts caning SHow like crazy, about to get the win, Striker comes out with chair, hits Sandman, Show gets up, chokeslam on chair or through a table, Show retains.

LOL, he damn near did at Vengeance earlier this year.

But not a bad show tonight. Even though I don't really like Hardcore Holly in ECW, he went through one hell of a match tonight with RVD. I give both men props for that match.

And I would have loved to see Sandman get the ECW title, but it seems they are determined to keep it on Show right now. Surprised to see no Sabu, thought for sure he would have interfered in the main event.

Maybe they are finally ending the Sabu/Show feud.

Probably one of the worse shows they've put on.

Holly/RVD was good for Holly's standards .... probably the best match he's ever had in a wrestling ring... but parts of it were still quite slow and plodding, and neither man really seemed that motivated until the last few minutes.

Way to waste air time on the stupid extreme catfight shit. Couldn't have built the Balls/Thorn feud with an actual MATCH?

Glad to see they know how to treat the ECW Originals. Sandman is in the best shape of his life but last night he was nothing more than cannon fodder for Big Show. They really buried Sandman pretty hard, as he didn't get in any offense besides a pathetic DDT and a bunch of damn cane shots. Then he gets pinned clean after Matt Striker merely takes his cane away.

With RVD, Sabu and Sandman all jobbed out of the ECW Title scene, what do we really have left to look forward to?

It's Sandman... He's pretty much a novely act. "Best shape of his life" is not saying much. Like it or not, Sandman is probably never going to be a main event player in the new ECW. Dreamer is FAR better in the ring, and h won't be either.

Either RVD or Punk will take Show's title. THat's it.
