It went off a half hour ago, and I'm still marking out!
This is the first time since season 1 that anything has done justice to how awesome Sayid/Naveen is.
Kate = my penis must be inside her now!
If you are ok with sloppy seconds following me mate you go right ahead but trust me. SLOPPY SECONDS.
I love Lost (favourite show), but for Season 4 ep 1 and ep 3 were somewhat lacking. But I am sure the intensity will pick up, and it'll be another superb season. Episode 2 was pretty sweet.
solid episode last night.
Great episode...Just finally got to watch it thanks to cable being out for the past 3 days...
Does anyone know where I can find the preview clip for next week? I couldnt find it on the website anywhere and I cant seem to find it on youtube. |

Ahhh yes but maybe Kano is Benjamin Linus to your tough guy.
Just cause you got the guns doesn't mean you're in control :D |

Proving your "masculinity" over the internet? I dont recall Kano mentioning that he was going to try and "beat" you at all. Sure you probably could kick his ass, does that make you feel better? Or does it just make you feel worse as your severe lack of mental capacity has only been proven further by this exercise? |

I totally called that from the first fifteen mins or so.
haha i didnt even put it together until i read blitz's post yea thats pretty fucked up. Damn... that means... :(
BTW, I had never watched this show until like 3 weeks ago, then I watched every episode up until now on abc.com. It sucks to have to wait for stuff.
When Kate first said Aaron's name I thought she named her son after Aaron, but then I noticed the hair color and realized it was Claire's son, I did not expect that at all. I hope Claire doesn't die. :(
Spoilers:
She could just be stuck on the island where presumably everyone else still is. Would seem pretty obvious to kill her with that said. |
Also:
I never liked Claire, plus she is way hotter with dark hair. |
sweet episode tonight, Locke kicks ass. In Black: LOL at Locke sticking the grenade in Miles and mouth, and then says "enjoy your meal".
I figured Kate might have had Claire's baby after that scene with Claire/Kate. As for the explanation... what thedamndest said. |
I was intrigued with Jack's comments on the witness stand, most notably his line about there being only 8 survivors after the crash...
he better hope barry bonds prosecuters dont get a hold of him

So I've finally finished rewatching seasons 1 and 2 and just finished season 3. Basically, you'll may remember I was really into the show the first and second season. Then during the second season, I started missing episodes and just stopped watching.
So about 2 months ago I told my Fiancee about the show and we started with season 1, then season 2 and finally finished season 3 last night. Wow, I'm almost ashamed I stopped watching. This is easily the best show on TV. Season 3 was amazing. The writers on this show are fucking genius. so many twists and turns and holy shit moments in season 3. Let me tell you, I have been waiting since Season 1 for that piece of shit Tom finally get what was coming to him. I said to my fiancee during mid season 3 that Sawyer needed to kill him. And low and behold, Sawyer shoots him in the chest. Fucking A. Also, that was insane when they did a flash foward into the future on the last episode of season 3. Well, I need to catch up on season 4 now. I post again when I catch up. enjoy. |

Love this show waaay too much
Crazy episode last night.
Mom says Sawyer is the father. I say Jack is the father after that chat outside the court. In the end, we both shout "OH MY GOD!" Loving John Locke right now. |
I thought she was going to go upstairs to see her son and the baby would have a scruffy beard, revealing it to be Sawyer's.
So are we under the assumption that the "he" Kate referred to at the airport is the baby?
Also, are these flash forwards where Jack has no beard taking place before his almost suicide flash forward? Any new thoughts on who was in the casket? I am betting Ben. |
Quote:
Could Aaron be counted as one somehow? |
Just because they "survived" doesn't mean they made it off the island okay. The cover story could be eight of them survived, Kate helped at least six of them survive. Which may make a more believable cover than saying none of the survivors died.

"Okay, so we crashed, and a bunch of us survived, and we tried to radio for help, but there was this French woman's signal that was interfering. Turns out it was a distress call she'd made sixteen years ago. We found her, but she's crazy, and said that The Others had taken her baby. Turns out some people from the tail survived, too, and they formed their own little society. Anyway, a bunch of people put together a raft and head out for rescue, but they get intercepted by a bunch of raggedy-looking guys who steal the black guy's kid. Anyway, long story short, the black guy gets blackmailed into helping those guys, and he kills half the people from the plane. The old guy was the only taily who survived, 'cause the smoke monster killed THEIR black guy... oh, wait, did I forget to mention the smoke monster? Anyway, there's this smoke monster that can assume shapes and show us things about ourselves. It can do just about anything, except run through this forcefield that Juliet showed us. Oh, Juliet was one of The Others. But she was good. Not like Ben. THAT son of a bitch killed off almost all of the Dharma Initiative, including his own father. Juliet was recruited by Dharma because everybody who gets pregnant on the island dies, and she's a doctor. Anyway, Ben's all interested in us because Jack's a spinal surgeon and Juliet told him he's got a tumor on his spine. Anyway, when Sawyer and I got captured and held in the polar bear cages-- Did I forget to mention the polar bears? Okay, so there's polar bears, and we're in their old cages having sex, and Jack tries to make Ben bleed out on the operating table, 'cause he's trying to help us get away..." So on and so forth. It's a whole lot easier to tell the fake story. |
Yeah, they'd all just end up with Hurley in the looney bin if they went with that story.
I’m so stupid
I forgot that the baby was called Aaron, so until I came on here, I just thought it was Sawyers kid, because of the blond hair So as for the oceanic 6. I think it’s a safe bet that Ben and Sayid are not part of the 6. Ben seems to wield a lot of power and people want to get after him. And there’s no way Sayid could be going on a murder hunt if he was a celebrity like the Jack and Kate appear to be. There is some friction between Kate and Jack over the kid, perhaps the reason Jack wants to go back is because he made a promise to Claire to re-unite her with Aaron or something? Which would explain why Kate didn’t want to, as that would mean losing her adopted son |
Didn't Sayid mention in the episode that he was a part of the Oceanic 6? However I don't think Ben will be, because as you said people are after him so it just doesn't make any sense.
No Sayid is a part of the six.... Desmond, ben and juliette could have gotten off the island and they wouldnt be any of the six.
Kate prolly doesnt want to go back because shes not allowed to leave the state and doesnt want to risk losing her life to go back to the island. Jack prolly doesnt want to see the baby because he either figured out who claire was, something happened to her and it was his fault, or a combo of the two. I think its pretty fair to say that lock doesnt get off the island and i dont really see sawyer getting off either, it would be a huge twist to me if either did at least. I guess Claire doesnt. Unless Sun wants to die, she has to get off the island because she got pregnant on the island, and that probably means Jin would get off the island too. Also Aaron might be a part of the six. |
Remember that while we presume that people who were not on the plane cannot be part of the Oceanic 6, that is not necessarily true.
The 'Company' or whatever managed to make it look like everyone was dead in the plane in the prospective co-pilot's flashforward, what's to say they can't just fudge the manifest and say Ben and Juliette were on the plane. |
I am guessing that Juliette is the one that is in the coffin. Ben seems to be too important to be dead (the whole thing with Sayid) and even though Juliette has family/friends off the island they have probably gone under the assumption she is dead after not hearing from her for so long. Or Juliette escaped, used an alias to hide from The Company, and thus the family didn't know to look for her obit. I don't think Jack would get that upset if it were Ben, and Kate was apathetic enough for it to be Juliette.

I just received my Entertainment magazine yesterday and there was a article in it about Lost done with the producers of the show......Because what they said is about future episodes im gonna consider them a spoiler and Im gonna type it in black...
Key Notes from the interview--- SPOILER: -This season will have passengers actually defending the island that they have been stranded on. -By the end of the season we will know how people got off the island and what happened to those that stayed. - By the end of the season we will know who was in the mystery coffin in Jacks flash forward at the end of last season. - They note that Ben might have been able to pass himself off as a passenger since he has all those passports - On March 13th the question of Who are the Oceanic 6? will be answered. - Who is Jacob? will not be answered this season but is a key component in the final two seasons - We will visit the freighter this season and meet the people who are on board - Michael has returned for the shooting of the first five new episodes since the writers strike - March 6th episode will feature Juliet as the key player in it. End Spoilers I love that in the interview they mention how they had to wipe everything clean before they went on strike because the room they write in was going to be used for that "Eli Stone" show. They had all the secrets for the upcomming season on boards and they were afraid someone would discover them during the strike. They actually mention that they had all the writers re-read all the scripts that they already filmed for this season so that they could envision all this as a fan and see where the fans might want to take the series. |
All awesome.
Ok so I'm finally up to date just watched s4ep4...
So with what Splaya just said do we think all these flashforwards are taking place after the events of what will become season 6? No idea why I want to know that but yeah... Also I marked out for Lance Reddick working for the company, I hope he's got more screen time coming up |
Pretty hot ep tonight. I'm really digging Daniel. Great new character.
Thought for sure Des was gonna buy it before the end of the ep. |
I would say this was one of the best episodes yet. Loved it. And Desmond is the man.
oooh ep 5 has aired?
SWEET EPISODE! Needed more island drama, but it was pretty solid. Perhaps the best of season 4 (thus far) Black: I knew Des would survive. |
Whoa. Talk about a trip. Gave my brain one hell of a headache last night.

One of the best Lost episodes ever.
Desmond's eps are always amazing though! |
Lost is becoming more science fiction every week.
I think that was always kinda the point LJ
lol yeah it's a Sci Fi show
Gonna go watch Deadwood now hope its not all Western and shit
Yeah episode 5 was a good one, Desmond is a brilliant character. I'm assuming whatever happened when he turned the key was the radiation exposure which eventually triggered his problem...
Yeah, also there was the lightning that struck him that triggered his whole 'seeing into the future' thing. Daniel Farraday said it would be prolonged exposure to radiation or electromagnetic activity.
he got struck by lightning?:wtf:
My guess is that after getting all the radiation and stuff from the hatch, he started to get displaced in time, only forward and for short little snapshots. Hence how he saw the future. Then leaving the island just let loose all of the side effects and he started just hopping back and forth.
And Lost wasn't always this sci-fi. Up until season 3 the most sci-fi thing that there was was the monster being a smoke monster. And I'm not saying its bad that its going more and more out there. It actually makes it more interesting. |
Nah this Sci-Fi shit is a cop out. I liked the show and all but if all the answers are gonna be sci-fi bullshit then you could use that to explain anything.
big fan of that episode. threw me for a loop off the bat, but i liked where it ended up.
This episode kind of reminded me of Slaughterhouse Five.
This episode reminded me of Crossrine.
Well Sayid anyway. |
Fuckin awesome ep jus seen it.
Its gettin a bit deep now, starting to think that Penny and her dad is more involved in this an everyone thinks. If you were as sad as me to scroll Lostpedia one time, it says if you did that lost interactive game thingy, it had a list of all these companies that helped fund the Hanso group, and Widmore Industries as well as Paik Industries (Sun's father) were listed as contributers. And with Jim Robinson aka Penny's Dad buying that book, I dunno they are getting more connected. I think Penny does know where the Island is at this point, and all that 'research' she has been doing. Whats getting to me is that they never talk about the big issues - like the new rescue workers, its like they know what the problem is - that theres a time relapse, the islands etc, but they cant talk about it or tell the losties - I know thats all to do with keeping the suspense, but in terms of an actual reason, I just wonder why they can't tell them, or get them to help or jus all figure out whats going on - its like if they know, the world will end, maybe it has something to do with the time travel stuff. |
Last night's was great. I am so pissed that we didn't get to find out who is on the boat but I am going with Michael. DS suggested possibly Locke's father, just for a huge twist. We went into the details of why it could be, but I'll spare those for now until we find out. The thing that gets me is that in the preview for next week they said 'a face you'd never expected to see again'. But it's pretty obvious that people dig deep into this show, and having the actor who plays Michael featured in the credits is a pretty obvious sign so people will be expecting it. DUNNO.
Defo gonna be Michael.
Locke's dad is dead, and to being him back would be pointless so we'll have less of that. From the episode of FLASHES BEFORE YOUR EYES, I kinda knew the show would take this turn. I think Desmond is the key to everything, I think somehow, when this all ends or whatever the main crisis end up being, Desmond or someone will have to fix it all by doing something with time travel. The fact we are seeing flash-forwards suggests that what we are seeing as 'present day' on the Island has already happened. So whatever is going on on the boat and Island, its not the first time, there is some kind of problem that needs to be fixed. The fact that Desmond had the old woman as a guide in FBYE suggests that there is a body or power larger than we have seen yet that can also time travel and knows what needs to be done. Think its about time Juliet got those tits out though, she is fuckin hot as hell. |
See, about Locke's dad. It makes you wonder if he was really there or not. Ben seems to have a way with possibly manifesting people to get what he wants. So what if Locke's father was just a manifestation to get something out of Locke and Sawyer and wasn't actually there for real.
Anybody hook a brother up with an episode 6 torrent?
Get cheeky with me again boy and I'll slap the bright outta your eyes:rant:
the one thing that still hasn't been answered that well is all those random figures that appear to random characters on the island. Like Jack's dad, Walt, Hurley's friend. I don't understand what's the point there.
I am assuming right now that that has something to do with 'Jacob', but we'll have to wait and see.
What really irks me is the smoke cloud, I mean wtf is that? |
Also I have a query for you Lost smarks...Is the series already written in its entirety? Ie were the main storylines, what inevitably makes up the ending and all these intricacies (or arbitrary plot twists depending on how cynical you are and the answer to my question) all drafted before the series even went into production or are the creators making it up as they go along?
I wouldn't doubt these guys had all the basic storylines and everything written before Season 1 actually aired. I think they change some things along the way, but I think the beginning, middle, end had all been figured out beforehand.
also, sorry to go back to my question, but remember in season 1 when either Jack or Lock kept seeing a man in a suit on the beach. Was that Jack's dad? I am trying to recall. |
The writers and producers constantly get interviewed about whether or not they're making it up as they go along and they've always admitted to having a general outline of how things are going to play out on the show, but obviously they fill in the actual plotline particulars when it's time and tweak and change when appropriate.
They've admitted to killing Libby off when they did to add to the shock value or Ana Lucia's death (someone the fans never warmed to) and keeping on Ben's character for longer than they expected to due to loving the actor. Eko died before he was supposed to because he wanted to do other things back home and they killed off Nikki and Paulo before ever really letting them do anything because the fans completely hated them and how they were thrust into the show. Yeah, Jack was seeing visions of his dad. Someone already linked the Lost webisode with Christian that sheds more light on this. All of these visions, especially the ones that full out interact are manifestations of the island. Keep in mind the main character of Lost is the island. The smoke monster and any real island mythos is essentially the one ultimate mystery that isn't going to be explained until the very end. |

No but I know she romps with Angie Jolie in it so I'll be lookin out for it.
I'm a freckles fan myself, although Juliet romping with Angelina Jolie sounds like something worth watching:y:
Claire all the way.
Yeah Claire is lovely
At first and most of the time, i'm all for Kate. Lately its been Juliet.
But once it was Ana-Lucia for a pointless fact. |
Michelle Rodriguez would definitely get some
Wow, Gia is such a sad movie. There were parts that were painful to watch. Not the lesbian scenes though. Those were hot.
actually if put in the situation where i would have to pick between claire and kate.... i dont think i could do it.
i guess its just that kate gets waaaay more screen time.
SPOILERS BELOW: (get over it, it's a Lost thread.. don't view it if you don't want to see spoilers anyway)
Tonights episode... was.. wow. I knew it was gonna be Micheal on the boat. But WHAT THE FUCK... about the rest of it. Jin and Sun.. what the hell is going on? Something to do with this crazy time paradox, or was it just a flash back for him? |
well yet again another oh shit episode! Spoiler: I also was expecting thats sun's baby was going to end up being black when it came out cuz of the one dude in the beginning of the series that got off the island and then I figured jin would kill her, but that didnt happen and i wont ruin anymore of it.
