"The rating among males 18-34, 18-49, and 12-34, as well as the overall adult 18-49 demographic, did not increase and in some cases even dropped."
We represent those demos, so it makes sense. |
I'm still trying to figure out how everyone forgot about Impact this week... Isn't the greatness of TNA unforgettable??:nono:
|
I guess they didn't make an 'impact'.
|
Can't forget to watch, when you have no original intention to tune in.

TNA is confusing in lots of ways.
1. They realize that they have amazingly skilled tag team workers in MCMG and Beer Money. They capitalized on that by creating this series of matches. Kudos. 2. Then they do everything else that they do -- Knowing what the fans actually like and want to see. When did they sit down and say...Ok fellas we have amazing athletes such as MCMG's, Beer Money, AJ Styles ect......so lets keep them off TV this week to make room for Tomy Dreamer & Abyss. I know they are trying to "pander" to EVERY demographic but they have to realize what they have in front of them. Instead of branching off in a million different directions all at once why can't they put the focus on a couple specific areas and create a niche market? TNA did that with the Knockouts - Then they fucked it up. TNA COULD have a niche market with tag team wrestling - It is something they obviously toy with. TNA HAD a niche market with the X Division but they have all but forgotten about it. They took what was once their strengths and instead relying on old business tricks and old school mentality and over branchin. Sometimes it just seems like TOO MUCH goes on and TOO MUCH tries to happen all at once...totally killing the effect. I like a lot of things about TNA and my reviews are often times favorable so don't come back at me like I'm some Pro WWE TNA hater because that is not the case at all. Just some observations from The Schlome I have been pondering ever since I really became a fan of the brand. If I were TNA, after this Hardcore PPV I would tighten the reigns and regain control of the business end and SLOW DOWN the product. It really comes off as desperate and annoying the way they go out there and brag and claim all these amazing surprises. It isn't getting them anywhere except alienating people. If I ran TNA I would do this: 1. Less talk - More wrestling ---that right there would set them apart from WWE. 2. Focus on the X Division and reignite the magic in it. 3. Rebuild the Knockouts division and hire a female writer specifically for their segments. 4. Fire Rob Terry (lol thats a personal vendetta more than anything) 5. Less TNA braggery & promises -- the element of surprise is a good thing --you build something up and up and up most of the time it won't deliver in the way they want. ok that's enough of a rant...dunno why I'm even posting this especially in this thread where it probably won't even get viewed. |
I've said this before but what i hate about TNA is it seems every week wrestlers switch from heels to faces back to heels and so on. So fucking annoying. Its like they're just doing it for shock value cause theyr'e that fucking desperate.

They claim to be all about the fans. They go above and beyond the normal perfunctory lip service. And yet, they do all this batshit stuff that never appeals to anyone of consequence. They go well beyond "Tahnks for your response, your feedback is valued," but they don't seem to be able to figure out how to take it from there. |

"If you ran TNA, what would you do?" should be a beauty pageant question.
|
I would make the main event a sex scene between Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, and Lacey Von Erich

I just though everyone ever got cheered.
Well, except Abyss, who evidently had "OOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOO" chants, face or "heel." |

Don't really understand why it's so fashionable to bash Impact when the alternative is no better though. |
To put my dick in a blender would be more beneficial to my health then watching a single episode of impact.
|
Watching a Dog eat shit and vomit mixed together would get bigger ratings then Impact could in month. They have the Young Bucks but what have they done to get noticed. Nothing, Dixie collects wrestlers like Action Figures and puts them on her shelf. Its retarded and them changing there company name wouldn't hurt either. I was at my Dads house once and I told him I was going to watch TNA and yelled at me and said "DON'T YOU ORDER ANY FUCKING PORN!,"
I mean Jesus Christ this whole company reeks of Vince Russo Jizz. |
