I usually hate TNA, by usually I mean like 98 percent of the time. Tonight's Impact was actually pretty sweet; even the knockouts match was decent. The ending was just retarded.

BizarroKing 08-12-2010 11:35 PM

DAMN @ RVD!

bigslimjj 08-12-2010 11:40 PM

That was the best wrestling show I've seen on t.v. all year. Raw can suck it. That ending was awesome and smart imo. Everyone always talks about how TNA doesn't push their homegrown talent. From what Styles and Kaz said on reaction that's exactly what they are gonna run with on this story line. I am certain that Summerslam won't have a match anywhere as good as MCMG and Beer Money had,and I got to watch it for free.RVD and Abyss had a brutal match with great hardcore spots.Angle and A.J. performed how only they can against each other, and Hardy vs. Moore was good as well. I give Imoact 10 coors lights out of 10,and I'll be waiting for ANY wrestling company to top that performance the rest of this year.

Droford 08-12-2010 11:55 PM

The only bad match was the triple threat and it wasnt even that bad, just short.

I was even impressed the most out of Moore/Hardy, didnt think it would be as good as it was.

The Pope 08-13-2010 12:05 AM

That was awesome!

Steveviscious89 08-13-2010 12:11 AM

I liked this show, and I'm usually a fan of TNA..........that being said, one can only hope that it's sustainable. You can't put on a show like this and then drop the ball next week. I already know they'll have to continue the Jarrett/Nash thing which most people will hate but I personally don't mind. I really hope they take Fortune and just run over the ECW guys and then Hardy, Anderson, and so on. I would actually excited to watch that.

SaskatchewanChamp 08-13-2010 12:18 AM

The best wrestling show in years.

DrCrawford 08-13-2010 12:34 AM

i totally forgot this was on tonight. i wish i could've seen it

Xero 08-13-2010 12:35 AM

It'll be up on Spike.com in a few days.

Mr. Nerfect 08-13-2010 01:52 AM

I'm going to check this out when it airs here. So Matt Morgan and Douglas Williams are set to join Fortune? I wouldn't mind that. Especially because Morgan is money and Williams deserves everything he's gotten from TNA so far. I hope they don't forget about Williams and Brian Kendrick feuding, though, although it would make sense to now put an EV2.0 guy against Williams.

I really want to see AJ Styles & Kazarian team up to challenge The Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA World Tag Team Championship. I figure that'd be an amazing match, and could really focus some great talent in a division that the WWE cares very little about. Beer Money can go over guys like The FBI and Raven & Stevie Richards to really build their momentum for another shot at the belts down the line.

Tommy Dreamer can get squashed by Matt Morgan, or something, and really put him over as a beast. Then Rhino can Gore Morgan, and that match can happen. Sabu can go after the X-Division Title, and Williams can dispatch him pretty easily. Sandman is just...meh, I personally don't have much interest in him.

Droford 08-13-2010 03:33 AM

I got a feeling four-tune is expanding to deal with EV2.0 since it would be about 10 on 4 otherwise, and then they'll at least give Morgan the Luger treatment..

Williams already won that fued.
I'd rather see AJ lost the TV title and go on the hunt fot the Heavyweight Title again. Have Kazarian win the TV title.

treyace 08-13-2010 05:48 PM

if you dont think MCMGs vs Beer Money was match of the year
you are on drugs

Droford 08-13-2010 07:50 PM

I didnt like the first two falls but the 3rd fall was ridiculous.

It was TNA match of the year, but not overall match of the year at all.

Fox 08-14-2010 06:58 AM

It seriously looked like Abyss murdered RVD at the end. Not in like a "wow, the Celtics murdered the Magic last night" kind of way, but in a "he stabbed him multiple times in the legs in the abdomen with a spike covered board" sort of way. Kind of gruesome.

I liked the Abyss/RVD match though, and Jeff Hardy vs. Shannon was much better than expected. Good show overall, though too much Hulk and the ending was off-putting and feels like a direct rip of the Nexus storyline.

D Mac 08-14-2010 08:28 PM

Watched this after months of not watching TNA. Pretty good show actually.

Oh and Dixie looked fucking HAWT

Destro 2.0 08-14-2010 08:53 PM

The only thing not needed was the cocksucker Hogan coming out and shitting the place up.

YoungFlyFlashy 08-15-2010 12:21 AM

Did love the way TNA CRUSHED ECW. And during the entire beat down, the fans started chanting TNA, supporting the home team. Awesome.

Chavo Classic 08-15-2010 06:33 AM

I laughed so hard at "bloodied" RVD. Way to go out on a ridiculous ending after what was a very decent show.

Yeah but its only one match there is still more time. Because you never know I hope that match makes WWE step up its game. But they won't and this was TNA' one good deed of the year. So it will be back to plot holes and Hogan hogging the spotlight after this.
