I throughly enjoyed tonight's episode.
|
Ya, it was really good.
|
Loved it, goosebumps
|
So like, certain people make guest appearances and then disappear again?
|
Suppose during this season we'll be seeing a lot of old faces come back, maybe with the exception of Lana.
If i remember rightly i also seen something about Lionel Luther too, but that might be another near-death experience like Jonathan. |
The last 5 minutes made up for another generic episode. The bit about Alexander growing up a lot faster seems pretty important too, I guess he grows up to be the Lex of the future.
|
Scarecrow.... Scarecrow....
|
Oh Lex.

apparently u didnt watch the episode
|
I did, and I also got that reference now. I guess I thought he might have been suggesting villians for the new Batman movie in the Batman Rises thread. My bad.
|
I am so happy he's back. I love it.
|
Just watched the latest episode. Pure Awesome.
|
what happened? FILL ME IN BRO
|
Clark went into an evil Alternate world where he was raised by Lionel Luther. So Clark Luthor who was evil replaced Clark Kent in his world. Basically at the end they switch but Lionel Luther follows Clark Kent into his world so Lionel Luther is back and he is evil.
I'm sure Lockjaw can explain better. John Glover and Michael Rosenbaum were always the best on the show. I'm thrilled one of them is back. |
Halfway through the season now, looks like no more episodes for the next month and half :'(
Very weird ending for the episode though. SPOILER: show |
It came back this week.
Gotta say, I'm not a big fan of this ripped from Marvel registration act story. Needs more focus on Darkseid/New Gods. Also, this week: SPOILER: show |
I loved todays episode.
|
Too many
SPOILER: show I just hope CW gets its shit together and gives this a continuous time slot. When this episode began I honestly had forgotten about Carter's death :( |
Time slot has been the same for a long time. I think you are referring to the holiday break that every active show goes through.
One thing that stands out to me is that every episode looks like we're in someone's dream. What is up with that? Takes me back to the Saved by the Bell years. |
Well, this last episode
SPOILER: show But I think I know what you mean. A lot of the time the colors/brightness/contrast on this show look "mad weird". |
SPOILER: show |
Still no word on Micheal Rosenbaum making an appearance? He fucking better.
|
Sadly no, but TVLine's Michael Ausiello says that producers are "cautiously optimistic" that Lex will be back, but that Kristin Kreuk will definitely not be returning.
|
Thats cool... her character doesnt need to return

Well least hes finally come around to it. I thought they would have already filmed the finale, but heyho! |
Weird. I read a story from the exact same date saying he wasn't returning: http://spinoff.comicbookresources.co...series-finale/
I hope your article is right. |
Aha! That article saying that he won't now seems to have an update on the bottom saying that he will!
Awesome. |

This is EXCELLENT news.

Greg Beeman will be directing the Finale
source - Kryptonsite Beeman has directed some of the series' most memorable episodes, starting with "Hothead" and including such episodes as "Crusade," "Commencement," "Reckoning," and last year's season finale, "Salvation." The finale airs on May 13. |

SPOILER: show |
SPOILER: show |
John Glover is awesome, but I really don't like the kid. He can go.
Who is Connor Clark in the comics does he even exist? |
Superboy is Conner Kent.
|
Yeah. That version of Superboy was created in 1993 after Superman "died". In 2003, Superboy was retconned so that half his DNA came from Lex Luthor, and he was given the secret identity of Conner Kent. He was a much more interesting and unique character pre-2003.
|
What's the difference between them? Was the original just a clone of Supes via blood thanks to Doomsday? I forgot...
But I marked out for Darkseid and the Superboy tee. |
He was originally a clone of Superman, and some minor character from the early 90s called Paul Westfield (head of Cadmus Labs at the time). Being part Luthor is actually an improvement on that, and is easy to believe since Luthor did have a mole at Cadmus at the time, so it coulda been done under Westfield's nose.
The main differences between pre and post-2003 Superboy is in the character though. Pre-2003 his main power was "Tactile Telekinesis" which allowed him to fly/be invulnerable/blow stuff he touches up/other things Superman can't do. He still has the power, but barely uses it anymore, cause somehow he developed the real deal, and also developed all the hearing and vision powers he never had before. Pre-2003 he also had a personality. Then he ditched his costume for jeans and a T-Shirt and become a bland guy who went around moping about how he was half-Luthor. I used to love him, but when he "died" a few years back I didn't really care at all because it just was not the same character I liked pre-2003. |
