McLegend 10-15-2010 11:12 PM

I throughly enjoyed tonight's episode.

VSG 10-16-2010 06:41 AM

Ya, it was really good.

Gray 10-16-2010 07:31 AM

Loved it, goosebumps

Jura 10-16-2010 03:07 PM

So like, certain people make guest appearances and then disappear again?

Gray 10-16-2010 06:11 PM

Suppose during this season we'll be seeing a lot of old faces come back, maybe with the exception of Lana.

If i remember rightly i also seen something about Lionel Luther too, but that might be another near-death experience like Jonathan.

VSG 10-23-2010 10:50 AM

The last 5 minutes made up for another generic episode. The bit about Alexander growing up a lot faster seems pretty important too, I guess he grows up to be the Lex of the future.

Lock Jaw 10-30-2010 12:05 AM

Scarecrow.... Scarecrow....

Gray 10-30-2010 05:54 AM

Oh Lex.

Wrong thread?

Reavant 10-30-2010 02:10 PM

apparently u didnt watch the episode

VSG 10-30-2010 02:22 PM

I did, and I also got that reference now. I guess I thought he might have been suggesting villians for the new Batman movie in the Batman Rises thread. My bad.

McLegend 12-04-2010 07:46 PM

I am so happy he's back. I love it.

Lock Jaw 12-08-2010 05:31 PM

Just watched the latest episode. Pure Awesome.

Innovator 12-09-2010 11:58 AM

what happened? FILL ME IN BRO

McLegend 12-09-2010 01:36 PM

Clark went into an evil Alternate world where he was raised by Lionel Luther. So Clark Luthor who was evil replaced Clark Kent in his world. Basically at the end they switch but Lionel Luther follows Clark Kent into his world so Lionel Luther is back and he is evil.

I'm sure Lockjaw can explain better.

John Glover and Michael Rosenbaum were always the best on the show. I'm thrilled one of them is back.

Gray 12-11-2010 10:45 AM

Halfway through the season now, looks like no more episodes for the next month and half :'(

Very weird ending for the episode though.

SPOILER: show
Byebye Carter :'(

Lock Jaw 02-04-2011 09:17 PM

It came back this week.

Gotta say, I'm not a big fan of this ripped from Marvel registration act story. Needs more focus on Darkseid/New Gods.

Also, this week:

SPOILER: show
Is basically The Matrix without the action scenes.

dronepool 02-04-2011 11:51 PM

I loved todays episode.

VSG 02-05-2011 06:09 PM

Too many
SPOILER: show
Matrix/Inception references

I just hope CW gets its shit together and gives this a continuous time slot. When this episode began I honestly had forgotten about Carter's death :(

Jura 02-05-2011 07:18 PM

Time slot has been the same for a long time. I think you are referring to the holiday break that every active show goes through.

One thing that stands out to me is that every episode looks like we're in someone's dream. What is up with that? Takes me back to the Saved by the Bell years.

Lock Jaw 02-05-2011 07:34 PM

Well, this last episode
SPOILER: show
they were in The Matrix.

But I think I know what you mean. A lot of the time the colors/brightness/contrast on this show look "mad weird".

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-10-2011 01:42 PM

SPOILER: show
Kryptonsite is reporting that Johnathon Kent will return in the episode "Kent" and that the Finale will be a 2-hour sendoff with episode 21 and 22 being combined
It's also good to know Martha Kent is back for tomorrows episode.

D Mac 02-10-2011 02:01 PM

Still no word on Micheal Rosenbaum making an appearance? He fucking better.

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-10-2011 02:03 PM

Sadly no, but TVLine's Michael Ausiello says that producers are "cautiously optimistic" that Lex will be back, but that Kristin Kreuk will definitely not be returning.

Reavant 02-10-2011 02:46 PM

Thats cool... her character doesnt need to return

Gray 02-12-2011 08:48 AM

http://www.tvline.com/2011/02/smallv...series-finale/

Well least hes finally come around to it. I thought they would have already filmed the finale, but heyho!

Lock Jaw 02-12-2011 01:49 PM

Weird. I read a story from the exact same date saying he wasn't returning: http://spinoff.comicbookresources.co...series-finale/

I hope your article is right.

Lock Jaw 02-12-2011 01:51 PM

Aha! That article saying that he won't now seems to have an update on the bottom saying that he will!

Awesome.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-14-2011 09:25 AM

This is EXCELLENT news.

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-14-2011 09:28 AM

Greg Beeman will be directing the Finale

source - Kryptonsite

Beeman has directed some of the series' most memorable episodes, starting with "Hothead" and including such episodes as "Crusade," "Commencement," "Reckoning," and last year's season finale, "Salvation."

The finale airs on May 13.

Gray 02-14-2011 06:00 PM

Big spoilers just announced on Facebook etc, about Alexander Luthor...

Lock Jaw 02-14-2011 06:04 PM

SPOILER: show
Looks like they stayed true to the Superboy costume in the comic books.... :shifty:

Dark-Slicer Diago 02-15-2011 02:15 PM

SPOILER: show
http://www-tvline-com.vimg.net/wp-co...stLook_600.jpg Now begs the question, since Alexander was the last of Lex's clones, does that mean Lex escaped Oliver's bus explosion or was there another secret clone hiding out somewhere?

McLegend 03-04-2011 09:01 PM

John Glover is awesome, but I really don't like the kid. He can go.

Who is Connor Clark in the comics does he even exist?

dronepool 03-04-2011 09:07 PM

Superboy is Conner Kent.

Lock Jaw 03-04-2011 10:11 PM

Yeah. That version of Superboy was created in 1993 after Superman "died". In 2003, Superboy was retconned so that half his DNA came from Lex Luthor, and he was given the secret identity of Conner Kent. He was a much more interesting and unique character pre-2003.

dronepool 03-04-2011 10:35 PM

What's the difference between them? Was the original just a clone of Supes via blood thanks to Doomsday? I forgot...

But I marked out for Darkseid and the Superboy tee.

Lock Jaw 03-04-2011 11:15 PM

He was originally a clone of Superman, and some minor character from the early 90s called Paul Westfield (head of Cadmus Labs at the time). Being part Luthor is actually an improvement on that, and is easy to believe since Luthor did have a mole at Cadmus at the time, so it coulda been done under Westfield's nose.

The main differences between pre and post-2003 Superboy is in the character though. Pre-2003 his main power was "Tactile Telekinesis" which allowed him to fly/be invulnerable/blow stuff he touches up/other things Superman can't do. He still has the power, but barely uses it anymore, cause somehow he developed the real deal, and also developed all the hearing and vision powers he never had before. Pre-2003 he also had a personality. Then he ditched his costume for jeans and a T-Shirt and become a bland guy who went around moping about how he was half-Luthor.

I used to love him, but when he "died" a few years back I didn't really care at all because it just was not the same character I liked pre-2003.
