Fuck Price.

SaskatchewanChamp 10-04-2010 03:46 AM

The Price Is Wrong!!!

No but seriously, until he gets out of Montreal, he is screwed.

Gertner 10-04-2010 06:46 PM

Cammalleri only got 1 game. Colin Campbell is a joke.

The Islanders are going to be absolutley awful this year.

El Fangel 10-05-2010 02:52 AM

With Streit out, I wouldnt doubt it one bit.

Vital cog that kept a clunker, clunking.

Skippord 10-05-2010 04:02 AM

hey what do you Canadian people think the Avalanche will do this year?

I'm too biased to tell.

Gertner 10-05-2010 09:57 AM

May take a small step back, as I think Phoenix will do. They'll be fighting for a playoff spot. Anderson is going to have to be great as the Avs defence doesn't excite me.

Gertner 10-05-2010 11:36 AM

They really need to cut down on their shots against. The hockey fight fan in me hopes David Koci makes a speedy recovery.

Vancouver Canucks Trade Shane O'Brien To Nashville Predators

Gertner 10-05-2010 04:03 PM

Lol poor Ryan Parent

parkmania 10-05-2010 04:46 PM

How do teams get different numbers of preseason games? Most have 6, but Toronto had 9 while Islanders, Boston, and Carolina only got 5.

El Fangel 10-05-2010 04:47 PM

Honestly, I think Avs will do even better this year, virtually nothing has changed.

Duchene should put up a monster season, kid is amazing and if Shattenkirk and Elliot end up on the blueline and do as well as I think they will look out.

It all depends on Anderson, who I think is more then capable.

You take into account travel distances and the such, Toronto played against mostly teams that were located near (Detroit, Ottawa)

Also it takes into account their season start and the such, for example Vancouver has 9 days off before their first game.

All balances out in the ned.

Shattenkirk and Elliot were both sent down.

Their defence looks like this:
Liles-Quincey
Hannan-Foote
Cumiskey-Wilson
Holos

Wilson sucked during the pre-season, Foote is old as dirt, and Liles is awful in his own zone. They give up far too many shots and their special teams isn't very good. I'm prediciting the Avs to finish 9th-10th, but not surprised if they sneak in.

Yeah I know they were sent down, they may be brought up for the exact reasons you typed in the message I am quoting.

Wilson is meh, Foote should retire and Liles is horrible like you said.

Get some new blood in the backend.

Gertner 10-05-2010 08:08 PM

I'm not crazy about Elliot. The Avs have enough of this type. Cameron Gaunce intrigues me a lot and I'm a Shattenkirk fan as well.

El Fangel 10-05-2010 08:11 PM

They do have an excellent team for being so young.

Christ, get rid of Liles and Foote (hell I almost forgot he played for the Av's)

Gertner 10-05-2010 10:55 PM

Liles's contract is a bitch, as is Hannan's

El Fangel 10-06-2010 10:02 PM

Hey Gert, care to make an avatar wager on Montreal/Toronto?

LoDownM 10-06-2010 11:21 PM

Cant wait till tomorrow night. Dads going to see the Avs/Hawks game tomorrow, he's hoping the Cup is there since the Avs have a reunion thing for the 95-96 cup win, but I doubt it.

Also, "Toughest Man in the NHL" Ian Laperriere is told to retire by doctors http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=539761

The cup will be in Chicago until Saturday night - and then it goes back to Toronto.

The only way Leafs fans see the Cup - is when it's on display at the HOF
