Not sure about this Red character. I've only gotten back into TNA over the last two months or so after a two year hiatus or so.

They paired him with Amazing Red initially. Claimed they were brothers I think.

But Amazing Red left TNA a few weeks ago.

And Christian Cage sounds better to me too :y:

YOU BE THE JUDGE, TPWW!

I'm pretty sure he bought his ring gear from a cheap Malaysian store on ebay.

Jordan 08-17-2011 06:04 PM

Crimson has potential but he also looks like a CAW I would have made when I was 14.

JimmyMess 08-17-2011 06:14 PM

whats a crimson?

Xero 08-17-2011 06:22 PM

A large version of Amazing Red who has a lumbering power style.

Jordan 08-17-2011 07:05 PM

His tattoos look horrible.

Steveviscious89 08-17-2011 07:10 PM

It's obvious that this BFG series is the beginning of the Robert Roode title run that I've been predicting for two years. There's no way Bischoff would attempt to recreate the 'Goldberg' streak with Crimson.....after BFG, it will pay to be Roode.......

I wanna say Crimson was in the military too (so was Gunnar)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they mentioned both of their military backgrounds on the last show.

Like he's really the Champion of Mexico? Seriously?

He really did win the AAA title down in Mexico.

Theres a plate over the belt for some reason and they blurred the AAA belt out when they showed footage of him winning it, so I really dont get it.

But tune in this thursday when:

SPOILER: show
Jarrett takes control of the Tag Team Mexican America after they beat Beer Money for the Tag Titles

As for Crimson, I do not like him and the push he's being given seems to be to early. I am willing to bet that he wins the BFGS matches next month though and Angle will probably be the one to give him the first loss in the Title Match he gets at BFG.

No, the series in and of itself is a fine idea. The people that they have leading it is what's confusing to me. Crimson is in first place, followed by like Robert Roode and Devon. None of those guys seem like they should be top tier champions.

Samoa Joe has negative ten points, but I think he's going to make a big run sooner or later.

Judging from the spoilers, his big run might be towards going out the door and leaving for WWE.

Theres still about 4 weeks left in the BFGS..I really think that they originally intended for it to come down to Matt Morgan, Crimson, Gunner and Bully Ray but Morgan got hurt and is out so that shook things up a bit. Right now the top four is Crimson, Bully Ray and Beer Money..

Anybody Thrilla 08-17-2011 08:10 PM

Droford's scenario is a very believable one, but what a waste of time it would be if the winner of that long, drawn out series doesn't even win the belt.

Droford 08-17-2011 08:16 PM

Its TNA..its amazing that they follow through with the stipulation. Hell, they already changed it from being a 4 Way at No Surrender to 2 matches (Im assuming 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3, but who knows) and the person with the most points at the end of the night wins. If #1 wins their match then 2 vs 3 is pretty much irrelevant. I guess they do 2 vs 3 first to "put pressure on" #1 to win making #4 a spoiler of sorts..

Anybody Thrilla 08-17-2011 08:37 PM

While we're here, I'm also going to need someone to explain to me the decision to put Mr. Anderson in Immortal for like three weeks before kicking him out.

Droford 08-17-2011 08:48 PM

Well, Hogan told him he could either join immortal and have them help him keep his title vs Sting or else he'd be left to his own, but Sting still won the belt..thus taking away his only incentive to want to be in Immortal..

of course this is TNA..who knows really..

Anybody Thrilla 08-17-2011 08:52 PM

It seems as if he would have stayed if Bully Ray wasn't such a...*cough* Bully towards him.

Emperor Smeat 08-17-2011 08:57 PM

Mr. Anderson in Immortal made as much sense as having the TNA champion twice in a row be defeated on their first title defense.

I believe originally Mr Anderson was being built up as someone who didn't like Sting but he also didn't like Immortal being involved which could have cost him the chance at the title.

Bully Ray hating him from the start made no sense considering he helped to get Mr Anderson in the group.

Roode is long overdue to getting a title shot.

Captain of Fun 08-18-2011 12:34 AM

Well usually these series are used in part to get an up and comer over, by doing well and getting big wins over vets, but having all those guys you named in the lead is ridiculous. The top should be mostly main eventers and one or two upper midcarders. Midcarders and lower card guys shouldn't even be close to the top.

Also, are they TRYING to get Joe to sign with WWE? Because -10 sounds awful.

kareru 08-18-2011 03:34 PM

he's not a bad worker
he's got 'the look'

but i fear they may be trying to 'goldberg' him, and i don't think that's a good idea

or maybe they are trying to set up a big push for joe by losing lots of matches then going to his 'nation of violence' place then storming through the roster and beating the undefeated crimson

Crimson is just shit. Wasnt he originally paired with Red?

When Crimson was brought in, he was originally billed as Amazing Red's younger brother. This is why he has the red fauxhawk, the name, and even the stupid looking ring attire that has patterns similar to Red's. You may have missed it, because it was during one of those "THEY" sprees TNA did for awhile- you know, "they" are coming, you'll know "them" when "they" get here- they had like 4 consecutive "they" angles, and all of the payoffs sucked. Then, Red mysteriously dropped off of television for months, and released and they started this undefeated push for Crimson. The gimmick is kind of stupid, because not only is the comparison (Red) gone, but they completely swept that "brother" thing under the rug a couple of weeks after his debut.

:y: Bingo! Not nearly as over, but hey; it's TNA. Since when do they actually give a shit who is over with the crowd?
