The topic of "Wrestling is fake" came up with me and a friend just two days ago.

Me and some friends went to our friends place to watch some movies and after it, we spoke about other movies and so on and we kept heading to Wikipedia for references and to see who was in what film and so on.

Anyway, my friend mentioned The Iron Sheik to me and how he loves The Iron Sheik's rants. One of my friends didn't know who The Iron Sheik was so seeing as Wikipedia was open, he checked him out on Wikipedia.

From there, he scrolls down and shakes his head and rolls his eyes. I asked him why he's doing it and he said "Because, look at all that. All of that is just fake but "Acting Career" and "Personal Life" get fuck all. Why fill someone's Wikipedia page with just fake shit?"

I also still do get the "You know it's fake, right?" reply when I tell someone for the first time that I enjoy watching wrestling.

I guess this makes even more sense for a WWE-GLAAD partnership... both have large closeted communities!
