Skippord 04-15-2013 01:28 PM

CSL 04-15-2013 01:40 PM

Skippord 04-15-2013 03:31 PM

Skippord 04-15-2013 03:33 PM

"Fade to Black" by The Rolling Stones has an assload of covers which thankfully leave radio rotation fairly quickly.

Oasis - Wonderwall - It's the "Don't Stop Believin'" of douchey acoustic guitar players at pubs. Bar promoting an acoustic set of some local musician? Almost guaranteed they will be playing Wonderwall at some point. Not a bad song by any means, but just so cliché.

Pearl Jam - Evenflow - "Controversial" pick, but IDK. Every time I listen to any alternative radio station I hear it. Like, without fail. And, no exaggeration, every single time I've been in a car with anyone who has XM radio, if the Lithium station is on I've heard this track within 10 minutes of the station being on. I get that that's the "point" of the channel, but BLAH. I'm just tired of hearing this song on the radio.

Linkin Park - The whole catalog: Seriously. They had maybe one good song ever. If there was any band that should be thankful that At The Drive-In imploded when they did, it's these guys.

Made it about 45 seconds. This should never have been recorded, or even conceptualized in the first place.

"What song don't you like but lots of other people do?"

Bad News Gertner 04-15-2013 06:35 PM

Anything by Motley Crue can go away

FakeLaser 04-15-2013 06:39 PM

I'm on board with Bon Iver and Green Day too

Shout at the Devil is great, just because you grew up with Bryan Adams.

Only Canadian musician I could think of.

Bad News Gertner 04-15-2013 07:17 PM

Corey Hart!

whiteyford 04-15-2013 07:22 PM

Brets brother?

Arrogance 04-15-2013 07:22 PM

Def Leppard can get lost. Really lost.

Vastardikai 04-16-2013 01:59 AM

Linkin Park is nothing more than Nsync with Guitars.

And my dislike of "Living Dead Girl" is only due to the fact that many of the samples disappear due to the transition to digital. The song itself is fine, it's the vanishing samples that pissed me off.

Crazy Train by Ozzy Osborne
Rock and Roll, Pt. 2 by Gary Glitter
Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin
Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People (actually, I don't want this song retired - I want every copy of it shot into the sun along with the band as a warning to all bands everywhere not to record shit like this ever again)

FakeLaser 04-30-2013 12:14 AM

All Foster The People would be great

Seether and Saliva songs, don't want them around. They manage to still show up.

The Condor 05-01-2013 11:39 PM

Seether is shit, I concur.

I miss "old" Seether (though I can still enjoy some of their current stuff).

Seems shitty to say, but the band was way better when Shaun Morgan was intoxicated.

The Condor 05-03-2013 09:17 AM

Most bands/groups/artists are much better when the beer is flowing and the drugs are being used. A sad paradox of life

screech 05-03-2013 12:19 PM

Just not grungy enough anymore. Maybe if they all stopped showering it'd right the ship without being life-threatening.
