I had high hopes for Hogan watching his stuff from the 80's, but all he did was punches and legdrops, which is a shame since his stuff post 2002 was a lot better and was booked against guys that matched his style (Taker and HHH in 2002). If he was booked against Kurt Angle early in his WWE comeback, he'd outwrestle his ass and make him look like a chump.

Honestly,

At this point,

I think having Hulk Hogan back in the WWE full-time would be a major step back.

I wouldn't mind a few appearances every now and then a la Bret Hart, Brock Lesnar, and The Rock, but Hogan on the TV set week in week out would be a bad decision IMO.

Guys like Bryan, Punk, Ziggler, Shield, Wyatt Family, and John Cena should be getting as much TV Time as possible.

Yeah and that got them the lowest rating in how many years? Hogan would be good for business. He would draw a way better audience that these "new generation" of wrestlers. For christsakes we will see John Cena back soon if these pathetic "stars" don't pick their shit up.

It's apparent non of them can carry this business, the business will never survive with these small stars, it's not believable for Bryan to win half the matches he does. Too small. Bring back Hogan, save the rating.

HHH is shit too by the way, he is more to blame than Brya is for the piss poo audience the show has drawn. He's boring as fuck on the microphone, and says the same shit he said from day 1. Bring back Vince!

Would love to see Triple H bring Hogan back because it's "Best for Business," only to have Hogan tell Triple H that Daniel Bryan is a better wrestler than he ever was, brother. The way he knocked Cena and Orton out with his knee -- that kid doesn't need 24-inch pythons when he's got skills like that. The kid is the future, brother." *Sierra, Hotel, Indigo, Echo, Lima, Delta...Shield*

Hogan can also give his backstage blessing to Curt Hawkins to do the gimmick I've suggested where he dresses up in two colors (could be blue and orange to fit Hawkins' current attire) and claims that Hawkamania is runnin' wild.

Hulk Hogan going anywhere to get someone else over...

Screw Hogan... book this.

Did we ever find out what Noid is on? Anything that makes a guy think Hogan returning just to get Curt Hawkins over isn't absolutely fucking ridiculous has got to be some good shit.

Mr. Nerfect 10-05-2013 11:10 PM

Oh, I think it is completely ridiculous. I don't have stuff that good. :(

Hogan could come back to RAW this week and the crowd would go berserk. Do I want him there full-time? No, especially since it could lead to "one more match." But appearances here and there wouldn't be a bad idea.

CLAM iNATOR 10-06-2013 05:12 AM

Hogan is too old/dated to feud with anyone of significance and no one who grew up a Hulkamaniac would tune in to watch. It wouldn't turn into any sort of long term rating for the company. Give him some interviews on some DVDs and that's about it.

If he was still relevant as a draw, TNA would have jumped leaps and bounds in the past few years since he took over. Instead, they are still a glorified niche promotion.

Hogan got rid of the 6 sided ring and got TNA to take iMPACT! on the road. What more did you want the guy to do? He's in his 60s now, he can't be a main event player. I think Hogan did everything he could to take TNA to the next level, it was up to others to pitch in and help as well. And if you don't think TNA now is far and away better than TNA in 2010 when Hogan first came in you're crazy. Hogan did actually do some good in TNA whether people wanna admit it or not.

Rammsteinmad 10-06-2013 11:42 AM

It wouldn't surprise me if most of TNA's financial problems stem from Hogan being a part of the company.

Mr. Nerfect 10-08-2013 03:24 AM

The WWE putting Hogan in their video games would be pretty huge for them too.

XL 10-08-2013 06:38 AM

He's already in the video game.

Mr. Nerfect 10-10-2013 08:27 PM

Well, fuck that then.
