I can kinda sympathise, but there are people who it doesn't really effect who really don't know. Like with that regional Kansas/Arkansas nonsense, or how to correctly pronounce Oregon. But none of that is as bad as people who pronounce Ohio "O-HIGH-Ah". There is an "s" at the end of Illinois. Ohio has four letters, one of which repeats. There's no fucking "a" anywhere.
