Maybe. The USO tour is pretty over.

Vastardikai 10-29-2014 01:36 PM

I still don't understand why Rock-Cena 2 needed the WWE Title.

Heisenberg 10-29-2014 01:37 PM

Calling Goldberg his dad and harassing him via phone would be pretty sweet

For Rock to "do the honors" after he was a transitional champ for a few months, so we wouldn't get Punk/Cena Part 3425236346457912 at Mania.

When I say RYB
You say ACK

It's the whole not breaking it down as you would phonetically expect which makes the Usos so over with crowds all over the world.

KIRA 10-29-2014 06:07 PM

Ryback take 2

I'll be amazed if this second push takes off because they destroyed the credibility he had built up.

But at the same time I always thought he'd be back there's no way Vince would let something like Ryback just fade away.

Mr. Nerfect 10-29-2014 10:37 PM

If this means we get to hear Curtis Axel's singles theme again, this is a good thing for many reasons.

Bad News Gertner 10-29-2014 10:47 PM

Axel's theme is amazing

Mr. Nerfect 10-30-2014 11:58 AM

It's a shame he can't find traction as a personality. He's fucking brilliant in the ring. Working with Ryback helped bring something more out of him. It wasn't as miffing that he was featured so prominently on television when he and Ryback were partners.

Mr. Nerfect 10-30-2014 11:59 AM

I'm not sure where they go with Axel now. I guess he could pop-up in NXT and be the "heel who spends a bit of time down there" for a while. I liked the team he and Johnny Curtis had for a while. If they want to repackage Fandango, why not bring him back as Axel's tag team partner?

Vastardikai 10-30-2014 12:06 PM

Call them Johnny Axel?

Anybody Thrilla 10-30-2014 02:25 PM

Fandaxel

Because if they're looking to repackage Curtis it's so he can be taken seriously. Teaming him with Axel will not help with that.

Anybody Thrilla 10-30-2014 02:44 PM

What's with all this repacking talk? Are there reports going around?

Lock Jaw 10-30-2014 02:45 PM

Just hopes

Lock Jaw 10-30-2014 02:46 PM

More likely, he'll just get released. :'(

Bad News Gertner 10-30-2014 02:52 PM

Johnny Curtis Axel.

He's been off TV since the summer and isn't injured. Add in a massive pinch of hope and we're chomping at the bit for a JC push.

Shisen Kopf 10-30-2014 03:02 PM

Repackage him with the gimmick that he's the legendary poster Curtis from this forum.

#1-norm-fan 10-30-2014 05:14 PM

Enough putting awesome people with that black hole of personality Curtis Axel. They need to keep that fuck as far away from Johnny Curtis as possible.

#1-norm-fan 10-30-2014 05:40 PM

Still holding out hope that WWE will have second thoughts about Roman Reigns and put Ryback in his place instead.

... or better yet, Johnny Curtis...

Mr. Nerfect 10-30-2014 06:18 PM

I prefer Ryback over Reigns in singles roles.

Mr. Nerfect 10-30-2014 06:19 PM

Fandango never got the IC Title shot he earned before he got a concussion and Axel took his place against The Miz and Wade Barrett last year. You could easily just slip Curtis into an IC Title program with Dolph Ziggler.

Droford 10-30-2014 07:31 PM

If Ryback ever faces lesnar, he'll get beat so bad they'll call him Ryfront

Blatant stolen joke from css

I'd rather watch Punk/Cena all day than one Rock/Cena match. So much better chemistry.

Cena vs. Punk should have been a WrestleMania main event at some point.

Innovator 10-31-2014 01:06 PM

There were 3 years there where it could have been

Cannot rep this enough.

Shisen Kopf 10-31-2014 03:35 PM

Rapper Cena vs SES Punk ONLY

Shadrick 10-31-2014 05:14 PM

I think Cena Vs Punk should have been a mania main event if they held off on them touching JUST for mania. I would have loved that.

Mr. Nerfect 10-31-2014 08:15 PM

I remember thinking in 2012 that a John Cena heel turn would have been a great way to build to Cena vs. Punk at WrestleMania XXIX. Cena won the Money in the Bank briefcase that year, and instead of cashing it in earnestly, I'd have marked out for Cena promising to challenge Punk in advance, only to surprise Punk on RAW 1000. They wouldn't have needed to go straight to Cena as a bad guy, but Punk could have treated himself as such on the microphone, whilst Cena just remained Cena and said he did what every MITB Winner, including Punk, has ever done.

Instead they went with Punk turning heel, which worked also.

Mr. Nerfect 10-31-2014 08:18 PM

Also, I always liked the named "The Axis of Curtis" as a team name for Axel/Curtis. I doubt they'd let him use the "Johnny" name, however, since it's too likely to be confused with John Cena or whatever.

Completely agree... felt like such a huge rivalry every time they fought after Money in the Bank.

Really was pulling for at the very least for Punk to get thrown in with Rock/Cena to make a triple threat.

Mr. Nerfect 10-31-2014 09:22 PM

Ah, that's what I was really hoping for.

Mr. Nerfect 10-31-2014 09:22 PM

Thanks for reminding me. Shame it didn't go down like that.

Shadrick 11-01-2014 01:35 AM

Got around to watching Rybacks post raw interview with Brandi Rhodes. I really liked it, thought it was really good. Has me interested in what he's going to do next.

I don't think he's ready for a Mania main event, and while I don't think Reigns is either currently, Reigns has at least been positioned towards it for quite some time, but I really look forward to seeing what they do with him.

.....and with Johnny Curtis.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2014 01:55 AM

Just replace the fat kid with Brock Lesnar and the cake with the WWE Title. And then take my money.

Damian Rey 11-01-2014 06:23 PM

Ryback could easily be positioned for a title run next summer if not this time next year.
