They'll probably distance her pretty quickly from Supes before long, but of course they have to set up the obligatory backstory for her for those who don't know anything about the Superman "universe".

You could probably try and argue that it's not really for people who don't know about it, but honestly, I don't buy that argument.

Would like to see Jimmy Olsen next to Clark Kent. Kinda weird that Jimmy could probably whip Kent's ass if he wasn't Superman. Jimmy definitely going to bang Supergirl.

Just watched the season premiere and enjoyed it.

Thought that the dude did a good job as Clark Kent/Superman, and is already better than Henry Cavill. Not a fan of the "shoulder clasps" for his cape, especially when Kara's cape and the way it attaches looks so good.

Seem to have nixed the Kara/Jimmy romance for now..... I hope they don't just go back to dragging it out in another will they/won't they thing........ I hated the Kara/Jimmy romance and everything to do with it, so hopefully they just let it die........

I'm gonna miss Cat Grant when she is gone from the show..... can't imagine the show without her.....

I didn't like it, and I hardly watched it last year.

Everything feels like it just falls flat. All the jokes and dramatic moments just don't work for me. It really does feel like the Lois and Clark from 20 years ago. It does feel like it's the worse show out of the four.

I'll stick with it for a little awhile. At least until the crossover.

I liked it. Thought the guy might be to small for Superman but he looked alright.

Loved it. Might be my fav version of Superman too. Just the right ammount of cheese.

Mxyzptlk was superb.

The gay arc with her sister, and her sister in general, is played out. Adds nothing to the show. Each scene is its own pocket arc that has no baring on the rest of the show. Unnecessarily tacked on and fairly insulting.

Reading how the second season has been I am kind of glad I never bothered watching it. Season 1 was decent. But nothing amazing. Still it was better than Arrow,Flash and Gotham.

Premiere was ok. Not a fan of sullen Supergirl. I want positivity and good vibes. Hopefully she gets back to it.

As long as its just one ep of her being sad and then we never mention Mon-El agan it will be worth it

Watched the last episode..... they brought back the "My name is" intro, but for whatever reason they didn't use the Supergirl main theme and had some generic crappy sounding music instead......

Just started the new season and the opening action sequence was atrocious. Supergirl has been around forever now, been world wide news and criminals are still shocked their eart weapo s dont work on her? Then a random car just sitting in the middle of the road like nothing is going on. Not a good start :lol:

Season hasnt been awful...better than arrow but thats a low bar if there ever was one. Some aspects of the show are really clicking and others just drag the show done. Its a manic show as far as my investment is concerned.

Drama for drama sake but the music and the heroic shot of her getting that sub out of the water was nicely done. Interest peaked with Supermom as well.

Really liked the theme..... was a "hopeful" and "inspiring"/"uplifting" tune........

New song they have playing over the "my name is" intro is just "morose"......

Maybe they are doing it "on purpose" With Supergirl being more "emo" this season because of losing Mon-El....... maybe when she becomes happy again they will bring back "uplifting" theme.....

Hopefully before the crossover..... entire crossover will be ruined if I don't get to hear Supergirl music cues......
