Fuck Baron Corbin. The dude is a tranquilizer dart of a performer. Probably a nice dude behind the scenes, but your charisma needs to be in front of the camera. He was the wrong choice for the briefcase.

James Steele 08-19-2017 08:46 PM

Baron Corbin is a black hole for charisma and talent.

It's located in his belly button.

this. there is nothing that corbin is better at than Jinder. Anything you name, it's either a push, or Jinder is better at it.

Baron did more shit on Twitter but he deleted them. I saw them and said "yeah this dude is gonna lose that briefcase."

Sixx 08-20-2017 09:21 AM

Baron Corbin is balding. That is all.

Vastardikai 08-20-2017 09:57 AM

I figured that they found the monument to Lita, with the ball of her hair and the 2 dead cats that was hidden behind his rape dungeon, where he keeps 4 runaways locked up.

I don't think I agree that Corbin is worse than Mahal. When it comes to ring work and promo ability, at least when Talking Smack was around, I'd give the nod to Corbin. Mahal is really, really, really bad, lol.

You're just jealous Mahal is WWE Champion still and has now made it further in the business than Jim Cornette ever did.

Mr. Nerfect 08-21-2017 06:00 AM

I think someone is a little obsessed with me.

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-21-2017 11:38 AM

Listen Noid, drink some malt liquor and huff some paint fumes and then you'll ascend to Admle's level MMMKAY

Nahhhhhh Mahal is okay. He's obviously not a main event talent so to speak but whatever who fucking cares about that shit product anyways.

Corbin is this bland skinny fat dude that I literally turn the tv off when he's on screen. He's not a horrible worker but there's not much to him.

Mahal actually looks scary and he has great facials. He doesn't really botch in the ring, though he doesn't do much in the ring. Feel like if he got 7 extra minutes with Nak lastnight barring he settled into more rest holds they could have had a really nice match. Though I think Vince is in his ear about working a slow body builder style, feel like he could do much better work.

If Corbin gets much worse/more awkward he's gonna get one of those pushes WWE likes to give to people who are so bad they end up actually getting heat when pushed.

Hey, I'm always plastered up on malt liquor a little bit.

I used to make excuses for Mahal, but that was in his prior run when they had him slapping Khali and stuff. It was sort of the "blank canvas" potential thing. Since then, I've just seen nothing from Mahal that draws me in. I find his promos have a cadence that could literally put me to sleep, and his ring work is even more bland. It's not that he's bad-bad. I mean, he concussed Finn Balor and generally looks lost, haha, but he's not the worst ever in the ring or anything. He's definitely in the bottom five in WWE at the moment though, and he's not even that notably offensively bad that he becomes a guilty pleasure. Some guys would fuck up in such funny ways that it was almost amusing. There's nothing "funny" about how bad Mahal is. He's the most bland kind of bad there is.

He might be able to do better. I've never seen anything that makes me think that's true though. Billy Gunn always looked more dynamic in the ring. Has Mahal ever had a great match with anybody? Keep in mind that he's spent 15 years in the business at this point, and that he's had a 7-year relationship with the WWE, and a lot of that was spent on Superstars, where he would have been able to work longer. Can anyone find a great Jinder Mahal match?

Baron Corbin, whilst I hear your point, is better in the ring. I agree that he's a charisma vacuum; but so is Mahal. We're really discussing shades of sewerage here. I guess it really just comes down to which guy upsets you more. Mahal is just lower in ring skill and his push is slightly more annoying to me. I guess that's Corbin for you.

Regarding Corbin and his losing the briefcase and having the lackluster match with Cena, that had nothing to do with Cena, well, the match had to do with Cena as his dance partner, but his fortunes falling temporarily was not Cena related. It also had nothing to do with Twitter, although the Twitter stuff did him no favors, particularly with a lot of the wrestlers because it’s considered bad form to go on a blocking spree of your fellow wrestlers. It was an entirely different situation outside the ring that happened a few weeks ago

Mr. Nerfect 08-31-2017 03:36 AM

Interesting. Maybe Vince kept asking him to shave off those sideburns?

Observer's Meltzer hinted the mystery thing Corbin did derailing his big push was something that for anyone else not in Vince's graces would have been fired for. Also hinted Vince still views him as a big future star.

He's waiting on more sources to confirm the actual thing before he reveals it publicly.

"Vince loves him".

If there's any quote that captures just how much Vince has forgotten what "entertaining" is...

#1-norm-fan 09-02-2017 02:53 AM

Seriously, Vince needs to take a day, turn off his phone and just look back on what he did with Hogan and Austin and then look at the fact that he's currently looking at Baron Corbin like "Yeah. THAT'S my next star!".

I feel like that might be enough for him to realize "Holy fuck, I've lost it. Gonna just hang out at home now, guys. You do this shit."

#1-norm-fan 09-02-2017 03:04 AM

Johnny fucking Curtis is a man who is insanely charismatic, good looking, tall, muscular, good in the ring, so comfortable on the mic and in front of a crowd that it's ridiculous, would charm the living shit out of everyone in America and the world on every fucking press appearance he goes on... And he is there... On your roster... As midcard comedy relief (Albeit amazing comedy relief because he's an INCREDIBLE FUCKING PERFORMER).

And you're looking to Baron Corbin to put asses in the seats.

Jesus fucking Christ

Mr. Nerfect 09-02-2017 05:53 AM

If you take Baron Corbin and put him in the Atttiude era, there's no way he gets much investment. He'd be in DOA and probably suck pretty hard, not looking that good physically, eventually being paid hundreds of thousands by WCW to not do anything.

Mr. Nerfect 09-02-2017 05:54 AM

Johnny Curtis would have been in a Chris Jericho '98 spot, where he would be amazing but the big WCW stars would be threatened by him, so they'd fuck with his push, only for him to jump to the WWF, where he'd be booked with HHH to try and make Hunter look cool.

Not posting this on the front page as it's totes unverified, but Mike Johnson on PWInsider Elites section said that the Corbin situation is about something he did in a big talent meeting.

There was a talent meeting about CTE with Maroon, Corbin said as a former american football player he knew about CTE, and ridiculed what Maroon was saying about it in front of everyone.

Meltz said if anyone else had done it they would have been fired.

I don't get why they won't just let him cut his string hair short.

He'd look much less like a paedo if he did.

#1-norm-fan 09-02-2017 04:38 PM

I really wanna know how many of those they have sold. Like... is there actually a human being somewhere who owns a Baron Corbin plaque?

#1-norm-fan 09-02-2017 04:40 PM

"Just sitting here putting in my credit card number so I can order this plaque commemorating Baron Corbin winning the Money in the Bank contract." - Some guy, possibly

Cool King 09-02-2017 04:42 PM

Maybe his dad?

Just read "that paedo heat" in the same way as "Latino Heat" from Eddie Guerrero's theme.

Yep. Me too as soon as I wrote it.

Instead of a low rider he'd come out in a panel van. Still have the hydraulics of course.
